Lionville Soccer Club Launches New Website

March 25, 2019 – – The Lionville Soccer Club is pleased to announce the launch of their new website, which will act as a hub and resource for more information on this youth soccer team. They offer opportunities for soccer players between the ages 7-18 to travel and play competitively.

Currently based in Chester County, PA with over 250 athletes in this organization, they are involved with competitive leagues that include the Elite Development Program, the Atlantic Premier League, Philadelphia Area Girls Soccer, and Central League Soccer. In addition, many of its athletes also participate in high-level tournaments, and some of their teams even plan for two tournaments outside of their home city each year. The club is working to improve the quality and quantity of opportunities that their league players can receive, and currently follows regulations set by both the Youth Soccer Association and the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association.

Guided by Director of Coaching Ben McCarthy, each individual team is also led by a volunteer or assistant coach that corresponds with McCarthy to train its participants to shine on the field. Through their cooperation, the schedules and games that the individual teams play are all unique to their needs and skill in order to push all players to the next level. These Chester County travel soccer teams also emphasize teamwork and individual player development, with the intention of enabling players to be amazing on and off the field.

LSC states, “We are very excited to announce the launch of our new website, lionvillesoccer.com. Having a dedicated soccer website will allow parents a place to get more information about the Lionville Soccer Club. It’s important for me to promote who we are and celebrate what we do. LSC has always been a solid community club and, in the last few years, we’ve managed to grow our reputation and compete at the highest level in a very competitive area for travel soccer.”

They continue that, “At Lionville, we take great pride in representing our community and being connected to all of our players. We understand the balance between having fun and competing, and we always try to maintain our integrity while achieving our goals.” Indeed, one thing that this soccer group focuses on is the need for volunteers. Interested parties can now sign up to join in certain roles via the website and help with tasks such as coaching.

The club also participates in intramural soccer, calling themselves the Lionville Youth Association. This program runs solely on volunteer coaches who have received training earlier, and the gameplay emphasizes guided play rather than directed play, meaning that the players themselves often have to come up with game plans in the middle of the action. They are encouraged to be creative and have good sportsmanship. Many of these games and practices are held on the Uwuchlan Township Fields. In addition to travel soccer, the Lionville Youth Association also has a travel softball team. Age groups for the girls go from U9-U15, while age groups for boys go from U9-U18.

According to The New York Times, youth soccer participation has decreased in America over recent years. The number of 6-12 year olds who compete and play has dropped by 14%, and kids who even touched a soccer ball in organized games has fallen as well. Even considering that average participation rates in all sports have fallen over the past few years, youth soccer has suffered the hardest hit, due to the high burnout rates and rising costs of programs. These burnout rates are caused by parents who are giving their children increasing pressure to take private lessons and join expensive clubs to try and gain college scholarships. Certainly, the low cost of the Lionville Soccer Club and the increasing opportunities that they offer to players are one way to counteract this decrease in demand from parents and children.

This collection of Lionville travel soccer teams which form the overall organization is evolving and expanding their influence with the creation of the website. They state, “We are hopeful that this website will help us celebrate who we are and what we do. All of our volunteers and professionals at Lionville Soccer Club are most certainly Lionville proud.”

Those looking for more information may contact Ben McCarthy of the Lionville Soccer Club, or browse the club’s new website. Furthermore, the organization may also be reached via their social media platforms.

Costa Rica School Of Massage Therapy Offers Massage Ceu Course

March 25, 2019 – – The Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy held their first deep massage course in November of 2018, taught by guest teacher and expert massage therapist David Lauterstein. The course was attended by current massage therapy students as well as alumni, and was a huge success. Due to the amount of positive feedback the massage therapy school received regarding the course, they are excited to announce that Lauterstein will be returning to Costa Rica to teach the same course on May 19-24, 2019.

This particular program is a great opportunity for massage therapists of any age or skill level, as it offers those who are in attendance the continuing education credits that they need in order to renew their massage therapy license. Those who finish the course will receive 30 National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) approved education credits.

One of the most important aspects of this week long course offered by the Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy is the man who teaches it. David Lauterstein, an expert in deep massage therapy, has traveled all over the United States and England since 1982, teaching both massage therapy students and currently practicing massage therapists. A highly respected educator in massage therapy, Lauterstein earned a place in the Massage Therapy Hall of Fame in 2011 and was awarded Teacher of the Year by both the American Massage Therapy Association in 2013 as well as the Alliance for Massage Therapy Education the following year. What makes the courses he teaches so desirable isn’t the amount of awards he has received over the course of his career, however. It’s the methodology that he shares with his students.

The Lauterstein Method is Lauterstein’s specialty. Developed at the Chicago School of Massage Therapy in 1983 by David Lauterstein himself, the method quickly became wildly popular, and he has been travelling to educate massage therapists around the world about it since its initial development. The Lauterstein Method is so beloved in the massage therapy world because it draws techniques from other, very successful, massage approaches. With roots in techniques such as Rolfing, Myofasical Release, Cranio-sacral therapy, and Zero Balancing, the Lauterstein Method allows clients to achieve full body wellness, as well as benefit from this type of massage almost instantly. Those interested may visit https://youtu.be/YdjPmNKBRvs to learn more about the Lauterstein Method.

Students who take Lauterstein’s week long course will benefit from learning about the 25 powerful soft tissue points in the back, shoulders, neck, cranium, pelvis, legs, front torso, and arms to relieve pain, tightness, and tension. Along with the Lauterstein Method’s many fulcrum points all around the body, students will also go in depth into the basic theories and skills of deep massage.

An integral part of understanding Lauterstein’s method is taking part in the demonstrations and in-depth discussions that he hosts with his students. These discussions and demonstrations help students fully understand deep massage therapy as well as other related topics and techniques such as Zero Balancing, the integrated structure-energy model, how to create soft tissue fulcrums, the working signs of mind and body healing, and the skeletal and energetic side of the musculoskeletal system.

Although students will have to pay for the cost of the class, as well as their own travel fare, the Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy will provide accommodations for those who attend the deep massage course with Lauterstein. The bungalows provided by the school are located in Playa Samara, conveniently situated near the school’s campus, as well as the famous Costa Rican beach. With options of either two or three bedrooms, a full kitchen, bathroom, living room, a private swimming pool, and WiFi, the students who attend Lauterstein’s workshop will be able to greatly expand their knowledge of deep massage methods, meet a pioneer in massage therapy, and enjoy all the beauty that Costa Rica has to offer.

Those who wish to learn more about the itinerary of the week long course offered by the Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy may visit their main website at https://crsmt.com/deep-massage-lauterstein-method/. The massage school, which is based in Playa Samara, offers many retreats. It hosts education courses for practicing massage therapists who need to renew their license as well as short-term courses for massage therapy students and alumni looking to expand their skills.

Pediatric Dentist Receives Recognition For Laser Frenectomy Procedure In Austin

March 25, 2019 – – Austin, TX based Green Apple Pediatric, Family Dentistry & Braces is pleased to announce that their very own Dr. Maria Evelina Guerrero has received recognition for her capability with the laser frenectomy procedure. Often performed on infants, children, and adults, the procedure involves the removal of the frenulum, a fold of tissue that prevents organs in the body from moving too far. The procedure can be performed with traditional surgical implements or with a carbon dioxide laser.

Green Apple Dentistry provides holistic dental services in Austin, devoted to giving children the healthiest smile possible while utilizing the safest holistic pediatric dental practices and care available. Dentistry is often considered separate from caring for the rest of the body, but holistic dentistry takes a different approach to dental care. Holistic dentistry takes into consideration the fact that oral health is connected to the health of the rest of one’s body, and in order to achieve the best possible results, it is necessary to treat the whole body when treating dental issues.

“In modern times, we have developed the attitude that dental problems aren’t health problems, when in fact they are,” says Green Apple. “Oral problems can be a sign of serious issues elsewhere in your body or, at the least, can lead to serious health issues. We believe that, when we’re treating your dental problems, we’re treating your whole body.”

It is the belief of the Austin pediatric dentist that a those in their line of work are a child’s first memory of a dentist, and thus it is the dentist’s duty to establish a solid foundation for good oral health as the child grows. Pediatric dentists act as role models, explaining the importance of good oral hygiene to ensure their patients grow up to practice good oral hygiene throughout their lifetimes. Holistic dentists train all their staff to be child friendly, and Green Apple’s staff in particular are taught to be hands-on with the children, aiming to keep their young patients relaxed and avoid any anxiety about future visits.

A holistic dentist, in comparison to most traditional dentists, will keep their schedule flexible, which allows them to deal with emergencies as needed. Green Apple’s dentists give free consultations on the first visit and accept a wide range of insurance plans. Holistic dentists in general make a commitment to care for each child till adulthood, with the goal of establishing a relationship based on familiarity and trust.

With regard to baby teeth, the clinic notes that, “Every day, we see children that present with decay on their primary (baby) teeth. Sometimes not just one, but multiple teeth are involved.” The clinic adds, “Sometimes the cavities are obvious and visible to the parents, and therefore the primary reason the parents made an appointment at our office. In other situations they are not, even to the doctor, especially if located in between the teeth with tight contacts. These such areas are only visible for inspection with radiographs. Sometimes, in families with multiple children in which the older children never had any cavities but now the younger ones have cavities, parents are perplexed at how this is possible.”

While they are temporary, primary teeth allow children to chew during the earliest years, and healthy primary teeth both create an aesthetically pleasing appearance and play an important role in speech. In addition to this, permanent tooth guidance is greatly affected by primary teeth. Premature loss of baby teeth may cause shifting and drifting of other teeth, increasing the chance for orthodontics.

A pediatric dentist, especially one who uses holistic practices, is of great importance to a child’s perspective on oral health. They can be the difference between a child growing up to have bad oral habits and fearing dentists, and the creation of healthy dental care and a healthy relationship with dentists. Green Apple works to ensure that they provide a comfortable environment for their young patients and guarantees that each child under their care will grow up with healthy dental habits.

Those interested in availing themselves of the clinic’s services may contact Dr. Evy Guerrero of Green Apple Pediatric, Family Dentistry & Braces. The clinic can also be found via their social media platforms.

Serenity Placement Foundation Releases a Study That Shows Impact of Social Interactions on Addictive Behavior

March 25, 2019 – – A new study published in Nature Neuroscience finds that social interactions can have a profound effect on behaviors related to addiction, and on the brain’s response to drug-associated cues. These findings have implications for people with substance use disorders (SUDs), because it suggests that social interaction can change the activity of specific neuronal circuits that control drug craving and relapse. The research was funded by the National Institutes of Health and led by Dr. Marco Venniro from the Intramural Research Program of the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA).

The researchers used established animal models of drug addiction to show that when given a choice, rats repeatedly chose social interaction over self-administration of heroin or methamphetamine. This held true even for rats that had previously been using heroin or methamphetamine in a “compulsive” way (like humans with an SUD).

Additionally, all rats robustly chose peer contact over more drug access even when they were continuously housed with their peers. And during prolonged abstinence periods, Serenity Placement Foundation reported they were significantly less vulnerable to relapse than rats that simply had their access to drugs removed. However, some rats resumed drug taking when access to a peer was delayed. The study introduces a novel paradigm to study brain mechanisms of social factors in addiction and could lead to new behavioral and pharmacological treatments for SUDs.

The protective effects of social interaction are more straightforward for rats than for people, but even so, the new findings in rats are in accord with what social scientists have reported for decades — feelings of connectedness to society can protect some (not all) people against SUDs. The rats that are less strongly protected by social contact could be a model for understanding and treating their human counterparts.

March 25, 2019 – –

March 26, 2019 | Winter Garden, FL: Brothers Property Solutions is buying houses directly from homeowners in Winter Garden and across the state of Florida. Homeowners now have the luxury to choose if they want to wait for months to sell their home or they will take a more expedited route to get cash in their account within seven to fourteen business days. Not only is Brothers Property Solutions buying houses directly but they are making purchase offers in a span of twenty four hours after viewing and have eliminated all the costs involved in selling a residential properties.

Homeowners in Winter Garden take the typical route of listing their houses online and hiring a real estate agent, hoping that these measures will expedite the process. Online listings may be inexpensive but they rarely generate enough traction. Sponsored listings cost money. Hiring a real estate agent is only the start. All realtors recommend homeowners to advertise their properties, they insist on staging the home before it is shown to any interested homebuyer, there are extensive negotiations and a long drawn process that may not lead to a sale. Most real estate agents represent the buyers as well so they must attend to their demands also. Realtors represent multiple properties at the same time so they are not out of option when buyers do not like one property. Many homeowners end up spending months waiting and investing more money without getting anywhere close to a sale.

Brothers Property Solutions has a straightforward proposition for all homeowners in Winter Garden. They conduct a site visit, during which time they inspect the property and evaluate it. There is a research team that verifies the ownership details among other facts. A fair evaluation ascertains the price, which is communicated in the purchase offer. Brothers Property Solutions does not deal with any realtor. They do not have networks of real estate agents or other intermediaries. Homeowners deal with Brothers Property Solutions directly and they get a straight up cash offer. The purchase offer is not an estimate. While the offer is nonobligatory and a property owner can take as much time as they want to consider it, the company has a practice of closing sales in seven business days. Should a homeowner in Winter Garden decide to go ahead, they have the opportunity to expedite the sale and complete it in a week up to a fortnight.

Brothers Property Solutions does not charge any commission. There is no closing cost. Homeowners need not list their properties online or anywhere else. They need not hire any real estate agent. There is no financial commitment. Since Brothers Property Solutions buys all types of properties regardless of location and their condition, homeowners can avoid repairs and even basic cleanup. There is no need to stage a property or get an appraisal done. There is no expenditure for the homeowner. Brothers Property Solutions offers an unprecedentedly convenient option for homeowners who want to sell their houses. There is no easier, simpler or faster way to sell a house in Winter Garden at the moment. Brothers Property Solutions has already purchased many houses in Winter Garden and across Florida in recent years.

Sunrise Wellness Foundation Reports Teens Using Vaping Devices in Record Numbers

March 25, 2019 – – America’s teens report a dramatic increase in their use of vaping devices in just a single year, with 37.3 percent of 12th graders reporting “any vaping” in the past 12 months, compared to just 27.8 percent in 2017. These findings come from the 2018 Monitoring the Future (MTF) survey of a nationally representative sample of 8th, 10th and 12th graders in schools nationwide, funded by a government grant to the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. The annual results were announced today by the director of the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), part of the National Institutes of Health, along with the scientists who lead the research team.

Reported use of vaping nicotine specifically in the 30 days prior to the survey nearly doubled among high school seniors from 11 percent in 2017 to 20.9 percent in 2018. More than 1 in 10 eighth graders (10.9 percent) say they vaped nicotine in the past year, and use is up significantly in virtually all vaping measures among eighth, 10th and 12th graders. Reports of past year marijuana vaping also increased this year, at 13.1 percent for 12th graders, up from 9.5 percent last year.

Sunrise Wellness Foundation states, “Teens are attracted to the flavorings in vaping, however, it is urgent teens understand the possible effects of vaping on overall health; the development of teen brain; and potential for addiction.”

The percent of 12th graders who say they vaped “just flavoring” in the past year also increased to 25.7 percent in 2018 from 20.6 percent in 2017. However, it is unclear if teens know what is in the vaping devices they are using, since the most popular devices do not have nicotine-free options, and some labeling has been shown to be inaccurate. There was also a significant jump in perceived availability of vaping devices and liquids in eighth and 10th graders, with 45.7 percent and 66.6 percent, respectively, saying the devices are “fairly easy” or “very easy” to get.

Sunrise Wellness Foundation points out that the one-year increases in the prevalence of nicotine vaping translate into approximately 1.3 million additional adolescents who vaped in 2018, as compared with 2017. The increase in vaping rates between 2017-2018 also aligns with the recently released CDC/FDA government funded National Youth Tobacco Survey.

This year’s survey shows regular tobacco is still at its lowest point in the survey since it began measuring it, with only 3.6 percent of high school seniors smoking daily, compared to 22.4 percent two decades ago. Smoking tobacco with a hookah is significantly lower than five years ago, at 7.8 percent in the past year among high school seniors, compared to 21.4 percent in 2013.

CA Security Firm Expands Home Security Systems In Los Angeles

March 25, 2019 – – Los Angeles Home Protection Pros South is pleased to announce that they are expanding their home security services in Los Angeles. The expansion will allow Home Protection Pros to provide their superior security equipment and installations with greater efficiency in the Los Angeles area. For more updates on the company, visit https://www.pressadvantage.com/organization/los-angeles-home-protection-pros-south.

The most important aspect of any home is its security. A home represents not only a massive investment but also a safe and secure space, and one’s family and valuable possessions are often stored there. Protecting this space and keeping it secure is often any homeowner’s first priority. “Think of it this way,” says Home Protection Pros. “You’ve invested in that piece of land, spent plenty of your hard-earned money for home construction, and built up its furnishings for years. It’s only expected that you take care of your investment.”

Home security systems were, in the past, considerably more expensive. Modern security systems make it possible to constantly monitor one’s house, store, pets, or loved ones from almost anywhere for an affordable price. Los Angeles Home Protection Pros gives homeowners the opportunity to monitor their homes constantly using the most advanced security devices on the market. Working parents can now monitor their relatives, employees, or house almost constantly with modern devices that ‘camouflage’ themselves into modern homes seamlessly.

Los Angeles Home Protection Pros states, “The cool thing about home security cameras these days is that even if they’re invaluable to the protection of our property and loved ones, these devices are affordable and can be found in many discount stores. It’s the reason you can buy a bunch of security cameras and place them all over the house.”

Offices often make use of Home Protection Pros’ security systems to check employee productivity, or lack thereof, while homeowners can use the cameras to check up on what a child or nanny is doing while they’re away. The chances of elders living at home becoming the victims of abuse at the hands of their caretakers, for instance, will fall to zero with Home Protection Pros’ residential video cameras. Those with elders suffering from serious health conditions, such as one of the many different forms of dementia, can rest assured knowing that they have the ability to constantly monitor their ailing elders and keep them out harm’s way.

Los Angeles Home Protection Pros offers free home security reviews for households in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. The company offers free quotes on day and night full-color, adjustable pan/tilt and night-vision surveillance systems, alongside tamper-resistant technology to monitor and protect one’s home 24/7, They also provide wireless motion sensors and on-board cameras that provide visual feedback to help keep an eye on the Los Angeles property in question. For more information on the company’s services, go to https://losangeleshomeprotectionprossouth.business.site/.

There are a number of ways of keeping a home secure even without installing a dedicated security system. Los Angeles Home Protection Pros offers Los Angeles residents a few tips on how to keep one’s home safe in addition to, or even in the absence of, their advanced home security systems. Locked doors, barred windows, and proper outdoor lighting all work to discourage burglars from attempting to enter a property. Keeping one’s possessions away from doors and windows also discourages break-ins. However, while taking these precautions may help, it is no substitute for an advanced security system that allows a homeowner to monitor their home throughout the day.

Break-ins happen every eight to fifteen seconds in the United States, costing homeowners an average of $1700 dollars, and this is leading to a growing number of homeowners taking precautions to protect their homes. Fortunately for those who are unsure of what security system is best for their home, they may contact Los Angeles Home Protection Pros South for a free professional consultation.

The security company professionals are ready and willing to guide clients in choosing the best and most effective home security system. A service area map can be found at https://goo.gl/maps/6Rqs1kb7hGy. They offer wireless motion sensors, adjustable pan/tilt video monitoring, night-vision technology, tamper-resistant security systems, wireless home security app, home monitoring systems and free quotes on security systems for homes.

The company is an ISO 9001, AS 9100, and ISO 14001 consulting and auditing firm that focuses on helping companies of all sizes develop world class quality management systems while also being totally compliant with any and all international quality standards.

Connie Smith, a spokesperson for American Quality Management, says, “It gives us great pride to have completed 14 years of offering our services as a consulting firm for quality management systems. We expect to continue in our mission of continuously improving our customer’s ability to efficiently manage their business, continually improving the effectiveness of the Quality Management System, including any applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. If you are an organization searching for a stronger return on investment, then an ISO 9001 quality management system is without any doubt an investment worth considering.”

The company’s ISO 9001 certification services are for those who don’t have the internal staff to oversee the ISO certification process. Connie Smith explains that it essential to find the best consultant if they are looking for the most cost-effective way to achieve ISO 9001 certification. She adds that this can spell the difference between simply having a quality management system that is put in place just to satisfy the requirements or a quality system that is able to add significant value to the company.

There are many benefits that a company can enjoy as a result of an ISO 9001 implementation. These include: better efficiency in their daily operations; better customer satisfaction through higher quality of products and services; development of a reputation that stands for quality, thus providing an increase in competitive edge; continual increase in productivity; decrease in costs related to returns due to defective products; expansion of market share and brand equity; optimization of internal communication and processes; reduction of the need for time-consuming customer audits; boost in customer trust; and higher standards of accountability for all levels of management.

The quality management standard known as ISO 9001:2015 is world renowned and has been implemented in more than 200 countries. As such, it has become a common set of rules for applying and managing quality in various cultures, people, and languages. ISO 9001 has become the most proven quality management standard because a successful implementation means increases in quality, personnel efficiency, and a significant decrease in costly wastes. This is particularly helpful in industries where profit margins are very small.

American Quality Management is ready to apply its ISO 9001 expertise to help companies, whether they are looking to develop an ISO 9001 system for the first time or they are simply looking to improve on their present quality management system. They have extensive experience in implementing lean six sigma quality systems and they are certified in ISO 9001:2008 themselves so they have first-hand knowledge and experience of what it means and what it takes to be ISO 9001 certified. Furthermore, because each business is unique, they ensure that the quality system that is established is 100 percent tailor-fitted to their unique requirements. Thus, companies can be sure that the quality system is designed to address their specific objectives and customized for their own unique corporate environment.

The team at American Quality Management is ready to help any organization in establishing a system that complies with various standards, such as AS 9120, AS9100, AS9110, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, NADCAP, and R2. At the start, the team will conduct a gap analysis review in order to create a project timeline and then start working with the client’s team.

Meanwhile, in a previous press release, American Quality Management had related how they were able to provide aerospace consulting to small and medium enterprises in California. Those who require more information about the various consulting services offered can visit their website, call them on the phone, or contact them by email.

Utah Dentist Credits Documentary Film For Patients’ Increase In Interest On What Is A Cavitation

March 25, 2019 – – Dr. Judson Wall, a dentist a Dental Solutions Inc., based in Bountiful, Utah, has noted an increase in patients’ interest on what is a cavitation and believes this is due to the documentary film, “Root Cause,” that was shown on Netflix and Amazon. The said documentary film is controversial because of the allegations about the possible negative effects of a badly performed root canal on the body.

Dr. Wall says, “Over the past few months, we’ve experienced a sudden surge in web traffic and patient inquiries. It’s been quite amazing really. This stuff wasn’t on the average person’s radar until word got out because of the documentary. We’re really excited that so many people are now waking up to what’s going on with their health.”

According to Dr. Judson Wall, a dental cavitation is a hole inside the bone, oftentimes where a tooth has been extracted and the bone had failed to heal or be filled in properly. Usually, when a tooth has been pulled out, the surrounding periodontal membrane is left inside the bone. This results in partial healing so that a spongy area or a hole is created inside the jaw bone. Experts believe that the incomplete healing is due to the bone cells detecting the presence of a periodontal membrane and interprets this as a sign that the tooth is still there.

Dr. Wall explains that cavitation can actually occur in any bone in the body. And there are other causes of cavitations aside from tooth extraction. These include poor circulation to the are, localized traumas, the use of steroids, clotting disorders, and the use of dental anesthetics that contain epinephrine. The periodontal membrane that is left behind after a tooth extraction may produce an image that looks like the shadow of a tooth when an X-ray is taken. Oftentimes, this indicates the presence of a cavitation. And while most dentists know about this phantom tooth image, many do not realize that it can cause certain problems.

Dr. Wall explains further that what causes the problems is the presence of anaerobic bacteria inside the cavitation. As a result, the cavitation becomes a breeding ground for bacteria and the toxins they produce. These waste products from bacteria have been found to be extremely potent in causing chronic fatigue, digestion problems, feeling of malaise, and other chronic health issues. A cavitation can also cause blockages in the energy meridians of the body and can have a far-reaching effect on the overall system. Research has also shown that cavitations could be reservoirs of large amounts of mercury. The result is that cavitations can cause low level or high level stress on the whole body.

Another problem with cavitations is that they are difficult to diagnose. They are not always readily apparent in dental x-rays. Sometimes they are just very subtle differentiations in the texture pattern of the bone. If the dentist is not specifically searching for cavitations when looking at a dental x-ray, he will likely say that it is just fine. To be able to detect a cavitation, the Cavitat scanner must be used to determine bone quality throughout the mouth, and this is what is used by Dr. Wall.

To ensure that there is indeed a cavitation, a biopsy must be obtained and sent for pathological examination. To treat cavitation, the area is surgically debrided and IV vitamin C is routinely given during the surgical procedure.

Dr. Judson Wall has been offering holistic dental services for more than 15 years. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Utah and got his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry. He is accredited by the International Academy of Oral Medicine. And he is a fellow at the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is also an associate fellow at the World Clinical Laser Institute.

Those who require more information about holistic dentistry, cavitation, and other related topics can visit the website of the Utah holistic dentist, or contact him by phone or by email.

March 25, 2019 – – Fentanyl has surpassed heroin as the top drug involved in U.S. overdose deaths, according to new data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Driven largely by the synthetic opioid that’s 50 times more potent than heroin, the number of fatal drug overdoses in America climbed from 41,340 in 2011 to 63,632 in 2016 – a 54 percent increase – the CDC data show. A November report from the agency showed the death toll has risen even higher since then, reaching 70,237 last year, and that drug deaths are a leading cause of falling life expectancy in the U.S. in recent years.

Some drug categories in the report include related substances, with the fentanyl category including chemicals used to make it as well as analogues. Carfentanil, for example, is a fentanyl analogue 100 times more potent than fentanyl itself. Researchers also cautioned against comparing numbers across years, as reporting of specific drugs involved in a death improved over the period studied.

Diazepam – a prescription drug that can be used to treat anxiety, seizures, alcohol withdrawal and other conditions – was involved in 3.2 percent of drug overdose deaths in 2016. Researchers did not cite specific variations, but common brands include Valium and Diastat.

Prescription painkiller hydrocodone was involved in 5 percent of drug overdose deaths. Brand names containing the drug include Norco, Vicodin and Lorcet.

Methadone, a prescription drug used to treat pain, was involved in 5.5 percent of overdose deaths in 2016. It also is one of three drugs approved by the Food and Drug Administration to treat opioid dependence, easing withdrawal and helping to reduce cravings.

Morphine was part of 7.9 percent of overdose deaths in 2016. Alprazolam, commonly sold as Xanax, is used to treat anxiety and panic disorders and was involved in 9.8 percent of overdose deaths. Almost all of these deaths also involved another drug, such as fentanyl, heroin or oxycodone.
