Women have been contacting this center regarding their diagnoses of pudendal neuralgia after being implanted with vaginal mesh for both pelvic organ prolapse and stress urinary incontinence. This demonstrates the scope and cost of expected lifetime complications. Dr. Vigna, who is also a Certified Life Care Planner, estimates that the future medical care costs of his current pudendal neuralgia patients is similar to these figures. However, the current system, matrix and settlement offers are not reflecting these costs.
