AmbiCom Announces Cloud-Based Active Optimization for Managed Service Providers (MSPs)

MILPITAS, CA – Jul 14, 2015 – AmbiCom Holdings, Inc. (OTCQB: ABHI) has announced the release of their cloud-based Active Optimization offering for Managed Service Providers (MSPs). The Veloxum AO will be available for installation beginning August 1, 2015. This product is a cloud based offering that delivers to MSP’s the same performance features that were previously only available with on-premises installation.

The cloud based AO will include an integration module for the most common Management Platforms used by MSPs. The first supported MSP platform will be Kaseya. The Veloxum AO cloud application will be available through AmbiCom partner Greater Intell and sold under the product name giOptimum.

Active Optimization automatically evaluates a computer’s workload and assets (network, memory, CPU and I/O) and adjusts the manufacturer’s supplied setting to deliver optimum performance. This task is currently delivered manually by MSPs. The Veloxum AO automates the various tasks needed to tune a server or workstation and reduces the time taken to deliver an optimization from a few days to a few minutes.

Managed Services is defined at outsourced day-to-day IT management functions. It is estimated that there are 30,000 MSP firms worldwide generating approximately $251 Billion in revenue according to a study by channeleyes.com

Tim Whalen’s New Album Recorded At Blue House Productions, a Washington DC Recording Studio

July 14, 2015 – – Representatives of Blue House Productions, a Washington DC recording studio, are proud to announce that Tim Whalen’s new album, “Oblivion: The Music of Bud Powell,” has been recorded at their Silver Spring studios. The jazz album is believed to be his best album yet.

“We here at Blue House Productions were lucky enough to not only produce this album, but pick his brain to see what influenced Whalen on this particular project,” says Jeff Gruber from the recording studio.

According to Whalen, who has a passion for jazz music, Bud Powell is an often overlooked musician. This was his motivation to create the album. Tim Whalen held a gig at the Smithsonian in 2014, which was very well received. As a result, he decided that it was time for Tim Whalen Music to record this album.

“Each track illustrates Whalen’s love for jazz and his knowledge of the genre,” adds Jeff Gruber. “Many of the hard charging, swinging tunes feature intricate unison and harmony lines with the guitar, sax, and piano all playing dizzying runs in lockstep. Modern jazz harmony and a love of great melodies infuse every track. The quartet glides through each piece no matter what the degree of difficulty.”

Tim Whalen is a combination arranger and composer. He is also a jazz pianist who is in very high demand. He lives in the Washington DC Metro Area, from where he does most of his work. He is truly passionate about jazz, which can be seen in his new album, “Oblivion: The Music of Bud Powell.” Jeff Gruber was responsible for the recording, mixing, and mastering of the album itself. This was done in the company’s recording studios in Silver Spring, MD.

On the album, people can enjoy the music as it is delivered by six highly talented jazz musicians. Whalen himself leads the music on the piano, which is a true joy to the ear. On guitar is the highly talented Paul Pieper. The saxophones, giving the music its haunting, jazzy tones, is Elijah Jamal Balbed. Eliot Seppa is on bass. Shareef Taher and Carroll “CV” Dashiel III are on drums. Tracks 5 and 9 do not have drums in their production.

Bud Powell was a jazz pianist from Harlem, New York. He is credited with developing bebop music. A true virtuoso, he was able to extend the classic range of jazz music. Many know him as the Charlie Parker of piano, due to his amazing abilities. However, plagued by various psychiatric problems, Powell was hospitalized for extended periods of time. When released in 1947, he is often said to have created some of his best music. Powell’s haunted life truly shines through in his music.
