Europe Refugees Crisis Fund – A Way to Help Those in Need Announced

This is an opportunity to change people’s lives – today!

BRATISLAVA, Slovakia – September 21, 2015 – The Europe Refugees Crisis Fund, a new way to help those in need, was recently announced. The conflict in Syria has claimed a huge number of victims and according to UNHCR, has left 6.5 million people homeless in their own country and 3.9 million refugees. As of June 2015, more than 450,000 Christians have been displaced. States that are bordering Syria, such as Lebanon, are also suffering serious consequences of the influx of Syrian refugees. Lebanon is now organized and extensively helps Syrian refugee population, help that would be equivalent to 88 million dollars in the United States. If Slovakia offered the equivalent help of Lebanon, it would mean the adoption of 1.5 million refugees.

In addition to this, living conditions for the people in refugee camps have dramatically worsened. The refugees urgently need food and water to survive. ISIS siege the refugee camps to prevent the influx of aid that leads to refugees’ starvation. A third of all refugees live in conditions far below the standard of living. 600,000 children in the camps are no longer able to attend school. Most of them no longer have any hope of returning to their original homes.

The Europe Refugees Crisis Fund was created by 23-year old, Tomáš Grigliak, from Slovakia. He is a student of Faculty of Law at Pavol Jozef Safarik University in Kosice. This current situation broke his heart and, inspired by Jesus, his dream is to help other people.

However, before The Europe Refugees Crisis Fund have the opportunity to change their lives. They need as much help as they can get. That’s why they launched this campaign. The goal of this project is to raise $5,000,000 by November 15, 2015. All of the funds will go towards supplying the refugee centers in Germany and Austria with clothes, food, and medical support. By donating to this cause, they will be able to create a Foundation of Refugees and they will be able to help other refugees around the world.
