How AmorDillo -Made in the USA- Surface Protection Film Defies Convention

AmorDillo Surface Protection has defied convention in the Protective Film and Home Improvement market with the release of their new “Made in the USA” Carpet, Paint, Puncture, Dirt, Chemical and Pet Protection Film . Further information can be found at http://ArmorDilloStrong.com/

Rochester, NY, USA – September 16, 2015 /PressCable/

Earlier today, ArmorDillo™ Surface Protection finally announced the release of its “Made in the USA” Carpet, Paint, Puncture, Dirt, Chemical and Pet Protection Films.

ArmorDillo’s Surface Protection products provide easy to apply, ‘safer than drop cloths’, carpet and surface protection during painting, construction, remodeling, parties, open houses, manufacturing, pets etc, and has been in development since late 2014. The main aim is to provide a safer product than what is on the market currently, while also saving people time, money, carpets and furniture… and it does so, with a difference!

Mark Behnke, CEO at ArmorDillo™ Surface Protection, says: “We wanted to try something new with our Carpet, Paint, Puncture, Dirt, Chemical and Pet Protection Films. Anyone familiar with the Home Improvement Market will probably have noticed how all other carpet and surface protection companies source their products from China and Korea. This is a huge problem! Who knows how much lead and unsafe products are in them?!.”

So as a welcome breath of fresh air, ArmorDillo’s Surface Protection Films are instead made right here in America, and they cost less than all their competitors. AmorDillo Surface Protection chose to make this move because they were “tired of watching people send the money out of the US and get back God knows what in our products”.

Behnke also said “We want to give our customers a safer, higher quality, lower priced product than what is currently on the market. With ArmorDillo’s protective films, they have that. We want them to feel safe that they’re not exposed to third-world products, and happy about the money and time they save protecting their families and belongings when using ArmorDillo Surface Protection Films. Trying something new is always a risk, but it’s a risk we believe is worth taking.”

AmorDillo Surface Protection has been in business for less than a year, being established in early 2015. Since Day 1 it has always aimed to stand out from the crowd, while also providing its customers the best possible experience at the best possible value.

ArmorDillo – Made in the USA -Carpet, Paint, Puncture, Dirt, Chemical and Pet Protection Film is set to launch Sept 30th. To find out more, it’s possible to visit http://www.amazon.com/Armordillo-Paint-Protection-…

The Tech Academy Reveals: What is a Code School?

Image: https://pressreleasejet.com/newsreleases/images/2015/the-tech-academy.jpg

16 Sep, 2015 – You may or may not have heard of “code schools” or “coding boot camps”. What are they?

Coding: (verb) The act of writing or revising a computer program. From Latin codex, meaning “book”.

Coding is also referred to as “software development” or “programming”.

Boot camp: (noun) An intensive training program, as for improving one’s physical fitness or skills in a particular subject area. “Boot” comes from Middle English bot, meaning “help”. “Camp” comes from Latin campus, meaning “level ground” (specifically from the Roman usage of a level ground utilized for games, athletic practice, and military drills).

A coding boot camp, also commonly called a “developer boot camp” or “programming boot camp”, is an intensive training program in software development. There are many developer boot camps in the world. Usually they have these characteristics:

• The programs take about 2-6 months full-time.

• The technical skills taught are aimed at getting immediate employment as a junior-level software developer.

• The training environment is “immersive”, meaning that students immerse themselves in the subject – often putting other life concerns on hold as they work through the training.

Developer boot camps are a relatively new element of the technology education landscape – the first boot camps began in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2012. The educational roots of coding boot camps go back quite far, from traditional apprentice programs to the career schools that sprung up in the early 20th century.

The rise of dev boot camps was driven by the shortage of technical talent faced by the technology industry. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that by the year 2020, there will be over 1 million unfilled computing jobs.

In response to this shortage, the technology industry has had to look for non-traditional ways to create the technical talent it needs. Rather than a replacement for the traditional college path to a career in software development, coding boot camps are just one more way to arrive at a very desirable place – employed in a well-paying, challenging field with good job security.

Whereas colleges are good options for those who can afford it and are able to study for 2-4 years, boot camps can be a resource for students that want to learn coding who have less available funds and time. Both are excellent options.

There are a wide variety of dev boot camps in the country. For those interested in taking this path to break into the technology field, it can be daunting – often the prospective student is unfamiliar with the very terms describing the contents of a boot camp’s training program. It can also be difficult to make a decision about what specific set of skills one should seek in order to have the best shot at landing a good job. Finally, some boot camps will only work with students who already have some programming experience or education.

In our opinion, here are some things worth looking into if you’re thinking of attending a coding boot camp:

Does the program cover the fundamentals of Computer Science?

The technology field changes rapidly. Without a solid understanding of the basics of how computers work, it can be difficult to keep up with a changing technology landscape.

Will you learn a variety of different computer programming languages and systems?

If you have a deep but narrow skill set in only one or two technologies, you may find it challenging to find a job outside of those technologies – and when that language falls out of favor, you may have an uphill battle in gaining skills in the new, more popular technologies.

Is the program self-paced?

We all learn at different rates. If you have to move in lock-step with other students, you may find yourself frustrated or left behind. An ideal training program will let you speed ahead when you are doing well, but will quickly handle any confusions or barriers when you get stuck.

Does the program cover soft skills?

Soft skills are those non-technical abilities that make a potential employee quite desirable. These are things like good manners, effective communication, leadership skills, the ability to cooperate in a team dynamic, and more. Even in a market with a talent shortage, these things matter.

Will you work on real-world coding projects, and not just textbook exercises?

There is much you can learn from a well-run classroom – but at some point, you’ve got to dive in on a live project. There’s no substitute for proving to yourself that you can produce a valuable, working product that’s meant to be used in the real world.

Most importantly, will the program help you get employed?

At the end of the day, all that will really matter is that you are able to utilize the tools you learned as a developer. Attending a boot camp and then living in your parent’s basement, unemployed, would be a failure.

We hope this clears up what a code school is and helps you in your search for a job in the technical field.

GPS SmartSole Commercial Rollout Across Sweden

LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / September 16, 2015 / GTX Corp (PINKSHEETS: GTXO), an IoT platform in the personal location GPS wearable and wandering assistive technology business, announced the completion of a successful SmartSole six month pilot program transitioning into a commercial launch and the signing of a reseller/distribution agreement with Posifon AB, a market leader in mobile safety alarms for elderly persons in Sweden and other Nordic countries. Posifon placed its first commercial order for receipt of inventory through the remainder of 2015, with expected delivery dates scheduled in October, November and December.

Sweden currently has close to 160,000 seniors between the ages of 60 and 95 who are afflicted with dementia, which represents about 2% of their population. The prevalence rates used are based on studies involving diagnosed cases of dementia, however many people are not always diagnosed so the actual number can be much higher.

Posifon AB is the market leader in mobile safety alarms for elderly people in Sweden and other Nordic countries. The company was founded in 2007, with roots from Ericsson and Volvo Trucks and the Posifon founders have been working with GPS technology for nearly twenty years. Posifon works with a number of dedicated municipalities and partners to lead the development of the application of mobile safety alarms. Its efforts have been recognized through awards from the European satellite consortium, Galileo for their innovative ideas. Posifon customers include municipalities, government institutions and direct to consumers.

“For us it is important to be able to offer the best wandering assistive technology solutions to our customers, commented Henrik Essunger, Director of Posifon AB. We have spent over six months evaluating the SmartSoles and how to best position them in our market and we are very pleased to officially start the commercial launch in Sweden. Our plan is to integrate tracking solutions such as the GTX SmartSoles and apps to help increase the quality of life for those in need, including their caregivers, due to Alzheimer’s, dementia, autism and other cognitive memory disorders.”

Andrew Duncan, GTX Corp director of business development commented, “We are extremely pleased to have another successful pilot transition into a commercial launch and we are proud to partner with a highly respected company like Posifon in the region. People in Sweden and surrounding countries tend to spend more on health care and assisted living services and are more open to embracing new technology to improve their daily lives. This also reflects another positive step forward in our overall European distribution strategy.”

GTX Corp’s flagship product, the GPS SmartSoles are a stigma free, safety and security unobtrusive monitoring and tracking solution for those who suffer from Alzheimer’s, dementia, autism, TBI and other memory disorders and have a tendency to wander. The patented GPS SmartSoles, which were featured in AARP’s 2015 technology gear guide and came in 2nd place, with Microsoft finishing 1st and Samsung taking 3rd place, in the 2015 Wearables, Health, Fitness & Wellness category at CTIA’s Hot for the Holidays Awards competition, are placed in the wearer’s shoes and contain a GPS tracking chip connected through a cellular network that sends a signal to the GTX Corp proprietary IoT platform monitoring website or smart phone app, showing the exact location of the individual wearing them. They come in several trim to fit sizes for both men and women, are water resistant, made with the highest quality electronic components and assembled in Rhode Island, U.S.A.

Emotional Health – Letting Go of Training Wheels

Most children learn to ride a bicycle using training wheels until they are confident enough to attempt riding without them. Having raised several children of my own, I’ve held on to the back seat many times only to let go on “2” (in the “1-2-3” count) and watch them ride on only two wheels.

Emotionally, many adults use emotional training wheels (defense mechanisms) to make it through life. It may be in their relationships, career or in some other aspect of their lives. They simply have not grown through a particular emotional stage and therefore hang on to supports that they no longer need. Such individuals do not know the freedom that comes from emotional health.

Emotional Health

Emotional health is highly subjective. What is considered “normal” to some might be way off the charts to others. Perhaps the best way to know one’s emotional health is to examine where one is emotionally unhealthy; in other words, where one hurts, emotionally speaking.

When men arrive at my office, rather than ask them “What’s wrong?”, which they often respond to nebulously; I say: “Tell me about your emotional pain.”Not too many men are able to articulate an answer sufficient enough to make a diagnosis, but it gets the conversation started.

What’s hurting you emotionally is most likely where you are out of balance and therefore where you are emotionally unhealthy. For instance; if you feel sad about your marriage or a relationship with someone you love, there’s a reason for the sadness. You may or may not be aware of the cause of the sadness, you simply know you are sad. Another example: You may be financially successful but feel like it’s not enough, or you feel hollow inside despite your sizable net worth. The negative emotions you feel indicate an emotionally unhealthy part of who you are, but again, you may or may not know why or how you came to feel that way.

The point is that it’s easier to identify a negative emotional state rather than a positive one. Perhaps it’s because we spend so much of our lives in emotional pain that we really don’t know what it’s like to have emotional health. We settle for unhappiness and a little misery here and there, hoping that circumstances will change, or, that we will be happy in the next life, or stage of being.

What prevents someone from enjoying emotional health? Are they stuck in an emotional condition that’s imprisoned them since childhood? Was there a traumatic event that occurred in adolescence that they never quite got over? (Trauma can be physical, emotional and/or spiritual.) Some may have been abused as children, physically, sexually and/or emotionally, and continue to be in abusive relationships as adults. Some may have experienced the loss of a parent early in life either due to death, divorce or otherwise. Some may have been in or witnessed a traumatic event like an automobile accident, battlefield trauma or natural catastrophe (hurricane, earthquake, etc.) When these types of trauma occur, the traumatized victim defends himself or herself in a way to survive the event physically, emotionally and spiritually. The method of defense varies, but the defense mechanism often remains in place long after the event that spawned it. It’s comparable to keeping training wheels on a bicycle years after one is fully capable of riding on just two wheels.

What To Do

Sometimes sticking to the familiar feels safer than the perceived risk something new and unknown, whether for better or worse. If one wants to move beyond their painful emotional place, one needs to take action. While it is not necessary to have professional help, it is certainly recommended and worth the time and money, otherwise the individual could find themselves in another emotional trap.

Here are some suggestions:

1. Find a licensed therapist that specializes in an area of mental health that you feel is appropriate for you. (Marriage and family, trauma, addiction, etc.) You might ask friends and family members or your primary therapist or clergy for a referral. You might also visit websites like psychologytoday.com or your state department of health, and use their directory of therapists.

2. Self-help books are useful, but beware; some are less useful than others.

3. There may be support groups in your area that you may attend:

• Divorce, grief, trauma groups.
• Alcoholics Anonymous, or other 12-Step support groups for:
? Eating disorders
? Sex addiction
? Gambling
? Smoking
• Al-Anon for family members of an alcoholic.
• Co-dependents Anonymous.
• Church sponsored support groups.
• Anger management groups.

4. Practicing mindfulness and meditation are particularly helpful in personal growth and moving out of a stuck situation.

5. Find something new to do. Doing something different physically helps you do something different mentally and emotionally:

• Exercise
• Yoga
• Gardening
• Hiking
• Kayaking
• Bicycling

Summary

Life presents challenges to all, and for some the challenges are quite harmful mentally and physically. The defense mechanisms used for survival may have served their purpose at the time, but when the individual continues to use these defenses later in life, they continue to survive rather than thrive. The solution(s) requires that the individual becomes willing to take action for change and then consistently takes action until they are free of their emotional bondage. Like a child who outgrows their training wheels, adults can outgrow their defense mechanisms and find emotional health and therefore freedom.

The Right Thing To Do Has No Resistance

When you want something or when you need to make an important decision, the path of least resistance is generally the right direction or the correct decision. You see, resistance indicates one is pushing against the natural forces of the universe and when that happens, you should stop what you are doing immediately and reconsider what you are doing.

Resistance and the Law of Abundance

The law of abundance is one of the primary laws in our universe. In fact, one might say that ours is an abundant universe; therefore, scarcity is a fabrication. Creation comes from a place of abundance and knows nothing except to create abundantly. When someone is in the creative process and follows the natural flow of our abundant universe, one succeeds in growing in an abundant manner. There is no resistance to the natural order of things because the power of the universe is greater than any power to resist it. When resistance is felt, it is because the idea that lead to the initiation of action is an idea created outside the natural flow of the universe.

Our universe is one of expansion. Since the Big Bang expansion has occurred. Galaxies have formed; stars, planets and other celestial objects have all been created due to the expansion of our universe. So the fundamental creative power of the universe manifests itself by expansion. Expansion and abundance go hand-in-hand when it comes to creation.

The idea of expansion and abundance is foreign to many people. They have not consciously experienced a life of abundance because their overarching belief system is established in fear. Such people are motivated by fear – the fear of losing money, a job, a relationship, material losses, losing one’s health – everything in their life is based upon unconscious and conscious fear. For these individuals, making decisions in life often results in something other than what they had in mind; usually something maleficent.

Resistance is nature’s way of signaling us to stop and back up and reconsider what we are doing. It is a red flag that is there for a reason. When ignored, seemingly bad things happen. When heeded, seemingly good things happen. I say “seemingly” because things are “good” or “bad” by one’s subjective experience.

When resistance is sensed, one should stop their thought, their action, their decision and review other options. The right thing, the right choice does not have resistance. In fact, when it is right, the universe works for us to bring a thing to us. The end result is usually something better, greater, more abundant and we have an expansive experience. We have a better outcome because the expansive and abundant creative power of the universe is harnessed for our good.

So What do I do?

Let’s say you are about to make a change in your career. You no longer want to do what you’ve been doing, you feel burned out and want a change. When you start to consider making a change you get confused or overwhelmed or experience resistance in some other form. It’s time to pull back and reconsider. Perhaps what you need is not a change in career, but a change within.

Burnout is caused by many different things, so perhaps you should find out why you are experiencing burnout and correct that before you make a job or career change. If your thinking or behavior is causing the burnout, then changing to a new job or a new career is not going to change the cause, it only changes the circumstances. Once the cause of burnout is known, you might resume a job or career change, or you may elect to stay in your current position. The same type of reconsideration might be applied to feeling like a relationship has come to an end.

Summary

When making a decision or taking a new direction in your life, be aware of resistance. It is the universe’s way of sending up a red flag. When this happens, retreat and reconsider the problem, or decision, and examine other options. The right thing occurs without resistance and the end result is more gratifying and adds value and meaning to your life.

First CRE documentary stuns industry: ‘Every investor MUST watch this film!’

Image: https://pressreleasejet.com/newsreleases/images/2015/first-cre-documentary.jpg

16 Sep, 2015 – Oman Mohammed lived the American dream. He immigrated 40 years ago to the United States, started a grocery store, and eventually “retired” with $30 Million of commercial property investments, until the last downturn caused him to lose everything and end with a $3.5 Million judgement against him. Now he has nothing but social security and had to start over like he did 40 years ago.

The following clip comes from the first two minutes of the new commercial real estate (CRE) documentary film, Revenue Reserve, where Omar describes “What it’s like” to lose everything at age 70, complete with trying to take his own life 3 times.

This new documentary film, Revenue Reserve, seeks to address the 800 lbs. gorilla in the room: most investors and their advisors (including agents, attorneys, CPA’s, etc.) don’t really know what they are doing, but think they do. Most do well when things are going up, which does not require talent, but when things go wrong (and they will again), too many experience a real-life “Shoots & Ladders” board game experience where they slide back to where they started or worse.

Lenders and investors share this problem. For example, about 15% of the commercial loans went bad for FDIC lenders in the last down-turn, but only .05% of loans went south for the life insurance lenders. What were the life insurance lenders doing differently from the FDIC lenders?

This 5-year documentary film project took a comprehensive approach to understanding the investors’ and lenders’ problem alike. How do you do this responsibly so you don’t lose? It was filmed in 29 cities across the US with 19 interview subjects making the final cut for the film.

Industry icon investor, John Kehriotis, says, “Fantastic! Every investor must watch this film!”

It’s important to understand, because when a financial shock hits (and it will happen again), it is irresponsible commercial loans that ultimately drags the economy into a recession. This is an extremely important film for the economy because it shows how the industry’s most successful private investors responsibly invest to protect and enhance wealth.

How to Change Your Negative Beliefs About Yourself

Many of us grew up in some level of dysfunction. In our homes we heard statements, judgments, claims and generally abusive, degrading and harming words from those whom we love and, sadly, feared.

The repetitious years and decades of negative input from those closest to us created deeply seated core beliefs about how others have erroneously judged and labeled us so that we believe we are inferior, ugly and worth less than those around us. In short – we have been programmed in a poverty of truth and an ocean of fabrication that we hold as self-truth.

The result of toxic upbringing manifests in adulthood where we feel the need to super-perform, but fail miserably, whether as a spouse, parent or in our career. We fail and we fall into a frozen and imprisoned state of depression, or perhaps the fire of mania that pushes those around us away and denies us the very love we yearn for. The cycle of acting out, being rejected and/or abandoned, finding another love, job or place to live and then acting out again continues until we break.

How do we stop the madness? How do we break from the captivity of our false basis of our self-image of being less than or greater than?

Truth versus Truth

Our primary problem is that we mistake contrived and fabricated truth for Actual Truth and, to the astonishment of all; we cling to our false beliefs about who we are and wonder why our lives are in disarray. If I believe that I am inferior, then I think and behave in ways that fulfill that belief. Whatever we believe about ourselves, we become, whether we like it or not. And mostly – we don’t.

Such fabricated truths include:

• “I’m worthless…”
• “I’m not smart enough…”
• “I’m better than those people…”
• “I can’t do…”
• “We’re a poor family…”
• “Rich people are dishonest and cheat others…”
• “We are created in sin…”
• “I’m special/unique – not like those lowly people…”

This is only a fraction of the false beliefs. They have infiltrated and occupied the mind-matter of self-identification. The messages are plentiful and powerful to the degree we believe in them. There is no room for Actual Truth when we believe fabricated truth. In fact, when hearing Truth, we deny it and continue to defend the self-deprecating BS to our eventual undoing.

The result of these beliefs include:

• Failed relationships
• Failure at work
• Excessive drinking
• Drug abuse and addiction
• Overeating
• Undereating
• Sex addiction
• Gambling
• Depression
• Anxiety
• Mood disorders
• Personality disorders

Again, the list can go on and on. The point is – we fail and feel miserable and life is not pleasurable, but a difficult chore filled with pain and disappointment and despair.

The solution, and there is only one solution, is to discover Truth – Absolute Truth – about your creative DNA and who you, and we, really are.

How Do I Do That?

Realize that your life cannot continue in the same trajectory as it has. You know, at some level, in your innermost self that the life you’re living is unfulfilling to the extent that you are simply surviving.

Next, seek help. But beware; there are many charlatans in the world who ensnare the lost, weary and weak into their “Answer.” Such is the way of cults and religious zealots. We are seeing this more evident in those whose religious beliefs turn into social anarchy in an effort to make others believe as they do. But not every group with “The Answer” are so blatant or militant. Some are downright believable at first, but somewhere up the line someone is just as delusional and sick as their followers.

There are those who have seemingly found their Truth and live lives of joy, happiness, serenity, prosperity and freedom. Such individuals are non-pretentious, live modestly and have balance in their lives and live in our communities. One does not have to travel to Mecca or some other “holy” site to find Truth, for Truth is universal and can be found anywhere.

It may take several attempts at finding your Truth, but persist – don’t give up. You may embrace a belief system only to outgrow it down the road and find something more suitable. While Truth is Truth, no human institution is infallible.

Pray and meditate for Light and Clarity. Prayer does not mean one needs to have a religion in order to pray. Prayer is a mindset. It is an asking and a claiming process between you and the source of creation. We pray for Light and Clarity. Meditation is a resting of the mind wherein Clarity is obtained. Think of it as a still bucket of dirty water. When the water is still the dirt sinks and the water becomes clear.

Find a mantra that you like. A mantra has several benefits. It helps reprogram brain synapses and it brings change. One I find particularly helpful is:

“I am a Divine Creation of a Divine Creator.”

Repeat this over and over while falling asleep and then during the day. After thirty days you will begin to feel better. When you sense a change in how you feel, add the following:

“Who loves me and accepts me exactly as I am today.”

Here is an incredibly powerful, life changing prayer. It works in a dramatic way and rather quickly too. So hold on, or let go, as your life is about to change.

“Lead me from darkness to Light,
From the unreal to the Real,
From the temporary to the Eternal.”

That’s it. That’s all you need to pray. And when you combine the mantra with the prayer, your life will change for the better.

Summary

You are a powerful being of spirit. Your life may feel dead ended but that can change. You can live a life of purpose, significance and value. You can have joy. You can be happy. And you can live in prosperity. If it’s possible for one, then it is possible for everyone, including you.

New Toilet Installation in Orange County by Rooter Hero Plumbing Saves Homeowners Money

September 16, 2015 – – Orange, California-based plumbing company, Rooter Hero Plumbing of Orange County, has recently begun installing a new generation of toilets designed to save consumers money. Smart-Flush toilets are specifically designed to prevent overflow, detect leaks, and provide simple flushing solutions to prevent water waste. This state-of-the-art technology has is bringing the average toilet into the 21st century and saving customers a great deal of money.

Jessica Perrault, spokesperson for Rooter Hero Plumbing of Orange County, announced, “We’ve begun to offer these amazing toilets to our residential and commercial customers. The technology helps to ensure that water usage is drastically cut, saving potentially hundreds of dollars every year on water bills.”

The EPA estimates that around 20 percent of more than 200 million toilets in homes throughout the United States develop leaks every year, and most are due to leaky flappers. These leaks lead to more than 500 gallons of water waste every day. Smart-Flush toilets, installed by Rooter Hero Plumbing, are specifically designed to eliminate this problem, and provide water control that helps consumers save money even when no leaks are present.

Smart-Flush toilets are designed with sensors that prevent additional flushing when water levels reach critical points. Built-in sensors also help to identify potential leaks in the tank, helping to save water, which ultimately saves money. Preventing leaks not only helps to save on overall water usage and cost, it can help to avoid expensive damage to walls and floors when leaks get out of hand. Many of these new toilets also offer touch-free flush.

“They’re an affordable way to upgrade your home bathroom and save yourself a bit of money on water costs,” states Perrault. “Consumers today need to save money wherever they can, and cutting utility bills is one of the best, and often easiest ways to do this.”

Rooter Hero Plumbing states that their plumbers are available for new toilet installation in Orange County, CA, today. The company also offers no-cost consultations with homeowners to answer any questions they may have about toilet repair or replacement.

Rooter Hero of Orange County offers commercial and residential plumbing services. More information about the company and its services can be found on their website at https://rooterhero.com/orange-county/.

Herpes Facebook Community Grows Rapidly And Reaches Thousands Of Members

September 16, 2015 – – The Herpes Facebook community was launched a couple years ago. At first, it was intended as a community where people who suffer from HSV could find latest information about the the virus and share their experience with others. Its creators say that it was never their goal to promote the community and reach the masses, and they were surprised to see how many people were interested in the information they posted.

After a while, the community started to get more than 20 thousand clicks per day. Just recently the page reached its first thousand likes. In this community people are welcome to share and post interesting information regarding herpes virus, comment and discuss different topics, and talk about their own experience with HSV. Recently there was an increase in spam attacks and in order to protect it’s members from them it was decided to disable the comments and discussions until the issue is resolved. However, there will still be regular updates on the page and members can continue to share their stories.

The main purpose of this community is to motivate as many people as possible to learn more about herpes virus, teach them how to control outbreaks, and stop the virus from spreading around the world. The page also focuses on showing people who just recently found out that they have herpes, that they can have a normal life, offer them support and share with them the experiences of those who went through the same thing.

In the future, there will be even more updates, including latest news regarding herpes virus, stories from motivational people and discussions, where people will be able to talk about problems they are facing in their daily life.

The biggest obstacle of the community is that most people are ashamed to join the discussions and share their experience because they are afraid that their Facebook friends might find out they have herpes. To make it easier for them, soon there will be an option to send a message to a group moderator and post it anonymously. Members are encouraged to share with others how they handle herpes outbreaks, what works best for them, and talk about the physiological side of HSV, i.e. how they manage to deal with emotional stress and how herpes has affected their personal relationships.

Another new option that was recently introduced to the members of this Facebook community is customer support that has a 100% response rate (most people receive a reply within a couple hours). However, for medical advice it is recommended to contact a doctor directly, because none of the creators of this Facebook community have medical degree.

Swedish businessman takes a swing at Alibaba and eBay – launches 39 language online marketplace

After 25 years of wrestling the language barriers of international trade, a Swedish businessman launches a 39 language online marketplace, addressing 5.5 billion people.

GOTHENBURG, SWEDEN – 16 Sep, 2015 – Using machine translation, Commercus.com lets businesses and consumers post advertisements in up to 39 languages, reaching buyers and sellers in more than a hundred of the world’s most populated markets.

“Transportation is cheap, it is easy to transfer money, and the world is full of people who love to do business. But even though globalisation has come far, the language barrier remains an obstacle,” says founder Andreas Isaksson.

After 25 years in international business, he has seen his fair share of confusion. Born and raised on a farm outside of Gothenburg, Sweden, Isaksson went on to pursue a career selling Volvo trucks. A first adventure presented itself in Iran.

“I went there on a business trip in 1990, and ended up staying for three years. I travelled the country, and almost nobody in the business community understood a word of what I wanted to say,” says Isaksson.

In his dealings with the world of business, a pattern emerged. Isaksson was sent to sell trucks in Russia, Hungary and Turkey, only to find himself using interpreters to communicate with clients. Having left Volvo, he partnered with a Japanese machine tool manufacturer, whereby the procedure was duly repeated. Gradually it occurred to him that English wasn’t the global language it is so widely believed to be.

“Doing business is all about presenting an offer, but doing that is difficult if you can’t communicate properly. During my career I have been dependent on interpreters, and it is like working in complete darkness,” says Isaksson.

Now his experiences have spawned the idea of a global marketplace for goods and services. Whereas existing alternatives are often country specific, based on a single language, Commercus.com applies machine translation to maximise the potential impact of each advertisement. Users post ads in their native tongue, choosing between +400 categories, after which the advertisements are automatically translated into any language of choice at a rate of €3 per language.

“Until now, there has been no way to advertise your products and services on a truly global level,” says Isaksson.

To welcome new users, the first 150 000 advertisements including translations are completely free.
