Zofran Birth Defects Lawsuit MDL Sets First Conference Date

The Zofran Birth Defect Lawsuits, which continue to mount, share many similar allegations indicating that expectant mothers who used the drug subsequently gave birth to children with defects. Zofran was approved by the FDA to treat patients experiencing extreme nausea and vomiting after undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, or anesthesia. The product has never been tested for safety on pregnant women.

“The more input we get from the community, the better we can plan for them today and in the future,” Harris said.
