Local Satellite TV Company Expands Business

Reading, England – April 27, 2016 /PressCable/

TVSAS is a television and satellite company based in Reading, Berkshire that has expanded into the security market by adding a division of CCTV installation and repair to their business.

Director, Mark Warne, comments,”Home security is a market that we’ve had our eye on for some time. Many of our customers ask us about CCTV installation when we fit their satellite dishes and we’ve never been in the position to offer it before.” Find out more about their services here:

http://www.tvsas.com/cctv/

TVSAS has now recruited security expert, Aiden Jones, to their team. Aiden is a former soldier who has worked in the security field for a number of years. After training to be a certified CCTV installer he worked for other local companies in Berkshire before being recruited by Warne to join TVSAS.

TVSAS are one of Berkshire’s premier satellite and aerial installation companies and have been operating for over 5 years. Mark Warne, who has spent most of his career working in the IT industry, is keen to grow the business by providing more service offerings and was excited to branch out into the home security and surveillance market. Warne goes on to say,”Our aim over the next 12 months is to grow our customer base of CCTV clients to over 50 in the Thames Valley and then look to expand into London where there is much greater opportunity.”

Burglaries are up across the whole of the Thames Valley and as a consequence more people are becoming aware of their home safety. As people are getting used to running their homes from their smart phones Warne has seen a rise in demand for smart phone enabled CCTV. He concludes,”People love the ability to see what is going on at their home using an app on their smart phone. It gives them great peace of mind when they are out and about.”

As the technology improves and the demand grows Warne and his team of experts expect to remain busy. To learn all about the full range of services provided by TVSAS visit their website:

Royal Road Minerals Announces New Environmental License and Provides Operations Update; La Golondrina Gold Project, Narino Province, Colombia

TORONTO, ON / ACCESSWIRE / April 27, 2016 / Royal Road Minerals Limited (TSXV:RYR) (the “Company”), a gold focused mineral exploration and development company, is pleased to announce that pursuant to Resolution No 241 dated April 5th 2016 a new Environmental License (“EL”) has been issued for the La Golondrina gold project by the Regional Environmental Corporation of Nariño Province (Corponariño). The Company is also pleased to provide an operational update on its exploration activities and planned drilling program at La Golondrina.

The EL provides necessary environmental permits for ongoing gold production at La Golondrina, which includes drill-testing and infrastructure and underground mine development as outlined in the technical approval of the projects work program (PTO), issued by the Colombian National Mining Agency (ANM). Before exploration drilling can commence at La Golondrina, formal resolution of the PTO is to be issued and a drilling plan is to be filed (not requiring approval) with Corponariño.

An initial scout diamond drilling program of between 1000 and 1500 meters is planned at La Golondrina. This will be the first drilling program to be conducted at the project with drilling expected to commence by August of this year. Holes will target known vein and vein-zone occurrences close to the intrusive contact with adjacent metasomatic hornfels, along strike extensions of this zone as indicated by ground magnetic data and other high-grade gold mineralized vein occurrences corresponding to magnetic and IP chargeability anomalies (see maps, diagrams and explanation in Figure 1).

To view an enhanced version of Figure 1, please visit:
https://www.accesswire.com/uploads/20292_rrm.ht2.jpg

At the Company’s La Redención project, surveying, saw-cut channel sampling and mapping of underground workings is currently underway.

“The new EIA is a significant step-forward for La Golondrina” said Dr Tim Coughlin, President and CEO of Royal Road Minerals “for the immediate term, our focus is obviously on initial drill-testing of La Golondrina but, if successful, we look forward to working closely with the project owners and with Corponariño in developing an exemplary, world class gold project with due environmental concern and inclusive community initiatives ensuring sustainable, modern and low-impact exploration and gold mining. Desktop work on locating drill holes at La Golondrina is currently underway with final field confirmation planned for middle May. Access work is expected to take some four to six weeks and will commence as soon as drill pads are confirmed.”

Neither the TSX Venture Exchange nor its Regulation Services Provider (as that term is defined in the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange) accepts responsibility for the adequacy or accuracy of this release.

The information in this news release was compiled, reviewed and verified by Dr. Tim Coughlin, BSc (Geology), MSc (Exploration and Mining), PhD (Structural Geology), FAusIMM, President and CEO of Royal Road Minerals Ltd and a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. Royal Road Minerals employees are instructed to follow standard operating and quality assurance procedures intended to ensure that all sampling techniques and sample results meet international reporting standards. Rock faces for underground channel sampling are first washed with a high-pressure hose and then channel sample locations are clearly marked and numbered using spray paint. Channels are cut with dual or single blade electric rock-saws to a depth of 3-5cm and over a channel width of 10cm. Individual sample lengths do not exceed 1 meter. Individual quartz veins and in some cases vein zones may be cut longitudinally along the vein wall to ensure the collection of a statistically significant amount of vein material. Channel material is extracted using a hammer and chisel and bagged for analysis on location. All assay work for released results is carried out by internationally certified Actalabs in Colombia and Canada. All samples are analyzed by fire assay for gold and high-grade samples may be assayed by gravimetric fire assay and metallic screen (150#). Multielement analysis by ICP-MS is also conducted. Arkansas Mother Files Zofran Lawsuit Claiming Multiple Defects Caused By Drug

April 27, 2016 – – ZofranLegal.com reports that the mother of a boy in Arkansas believes the anti-nausea medication Zofran caused more than one birth defect in her child.

The complaint, which was originally filed in the United States District Court of the Eastern District of Louisiana under case number 2:15-cv-04399-SM-DEK, but is now consolidated in MDL 2657, alleges that because the mother was prescribed Zofran during her first trimester, her son developed several severe birth defects including two clubfeet, respiratory distress syndrome and apnea, and a cleft palate. His mother has stated that there is no family history of any of these birth defects. Born in 2007, he has already undergone two surgeries to correct the defects and may require additional procedures in the near future.

This plaintiff wasn’t the first to allege that the drug harmed an unborn child. In all of the more than 230 complaints filed against GlaxoSmithKline, the makers of the drug, parents claim their child suffers from a serious birth defect because of exposure to Zofran while still in the womb.

Zofran was first put on the market in 1991 after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved its use in patients experiencing nausea and vomiting after being treated with chemotherapy, radiation, or anesthesia. Due to the fact that the company had never performed human clinical trials involving expectant mothers, the drug was not approved as a treatment for morning sickness. Despite this, GSK decided to advertise it for “off-label” use to the public and the medical community. As a result, millions of pregnant women were prescribed Zofran.

Today, families are alleging that the drug caused conditions such as atrial septal defect, ventricular septal defect, transposition of the greater vessels, tetralogy of fallot, cleft lip and palate, clubfoot, ear deformities, and kidney defects. By pursuing legal action, they hope to recover compensation for their children’s medical expenses, pain and suffering, and emotional turmoil.

Currently, the attorneys at Monheit Law are working to assist anyone who believes their child may have been harmed by Zofran. Free consultations are being offered to all qualifying parties. To learn more, contact Michael Monheit at 877-620-8411.

Falling Ontario Auto Insurance Rates are good but Also Shine Light on Governments Failure Suggests Shop Insurance Canada

April 27, 2016 – The Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) announced its first quarter 2016 auto insurance rates for the province, showing that premium cost on average has fallen 10 per cent in the last two years. Shop Insurance Canada, a leading insurance authority, says that any drop in rates is good news, but consumers should not let the decline gloss over the fact that the provincial government still missed its targets.

Auto insurance costs in Ontario are the highest in Canada, especially surrounding the Greater Toronto Area, where rates are sometimes 40 per cent higher than other municipalities nationwide. There is a consensus among consumers, insurance providers, and the Liberal Ontarian government that rates need to be substantially lowered.

The government made a promise in August 2013 to lower auto insurance costs by 15 per cent before September 2015, a goal that officials said was manageable. However, by last year the rates had only declined by 6.4 per cent and the government missed its pledge. The situation was exacerbated by Premier Kathleen Wynne saying the promise was always a “stretch goal”.

Never before had the government said that the target was potentially out of reach, and Wynne’s confession led critics to say the original pledge was merely a deal to help the rival NDP vote to pass 2013’s provincial budget.

Shop Insurance Canada (ShopInsuranceCanada.com) says the government should not have deceived consumers into thinking the ambitious 15 per cent goal was achievable. The insurance expert does however say that the continuing decline in Ontario auto insurance rates at least show the government is committed to lowering premiums in the province.

“The government’s ‘stretch goal’ always seemed overly ambitious despite assurances that it was possible to reduce premiums by 15 per cent within two years. It would have been more prudent for the Liberals to pledge to continuously work to lower car insurance costs and not make a token gesture. Nevertheless, the average cost of coverage continues to fall and every reduction is a step in the right direction.”

Since the failure of the government to reduce auto insurance premiums by 15 per cent, the government has continued to work with providers on anti-fraud initiatives and new products. The result has been a further 4 per cent decline in the average cost of auto insurance in Ontario and the government are saying they will continue to seek further reductions.

Before venturing onto the trails climbers receive an interactive orientation and practice session.

Thomas Jefferson School of Law Hosts Lecture on Armenian Genocide

SAN DIEGO, CA 4/27/16 – Last week, Thomas Jefferson School of Law hosted a lecture entitled, “Genocide and the Law 101 Years Later.” The event was organized by the Thomas Jefferson School of Law Armenian Law Student Association.

The lecture featured famed Armenian American criminal defense attorney Mark Geragos, who had represented several celebrities and was one of the lead lawyers in a pair of groundbreaking federal class-action lawsuits against New York Life Insurance and AXA Corporation for insurance policies issued in the early 20th century during the Armenian Genocide.

Geragos was introduced by United States District Court Judge and Armenian American Larry Alan Burns, who was the keynote speaker at last year’s commemoration event.

“Thomas Jefferson School of Law continues to be a strong supporter of its Armenian Law Students Association and its events,” said Armenian Law Student Association Faculty Advisor and Thomas Jefferson School of Law Associate Professor Christopher Guzelian. “I was pleased to see prominent members of the local Armenian community, including three state and federal judges, in attendance. Mr. Geragos gave a dynamic, informative speech about his successful legal efforts to compel American life insurance companies to fulfill their century-old unpaid commitment to insured Armenian Genocide victims.”

Concluding remarks were made by Armenian Law Student Association President Meline Grigoryan who also introduced Judge Burns at the beginning of the program. Grigoryan explained that every year on April 24th Armenians around the world unite in one voice to remember and demand justice for the 1.5 million lives lost. Grigoryan emphasized that “by recognizing the past, future crimes against humanity can be defeated and prevented,” one of the themes of the lecture by Geragos.

The event was attended by many Thomas Jefferson School of Law students, faculty and staff, showing great interest in the Armenian cause.

Thomas Jefferson School of Law offers a comprehensive legal education to a nationally-based, diverse student body. The non-profit law school is consistently ranked as one of the most diverse law schools in the nation, with 52 percent of its most recent class being students of color. Located in Downtown San Diego, Thomas Jefferson Law has evolved into an innovative, cutting-edge law school, devoted to the individual needs and success of its students.
