Dorko, who is well-known for her keen eye for fashion and fitness trends, answered a variety of interesting and thought-provoking questions during the interview.

When asked about what inspired her to get into the fashion industry, Dorko replied that she has always had an interest in style, design, patterns and materials.

“Blogging and promoting fashion culture online is something I’ve been working on over the past five years as Instagram became more popular and more awareness and attention has been brought to the fashion scene,” she said, adding that through her blogging, she has learned how important it is to have a strong work ethic, to try new things and to get out of her comfort zone now and then.

As for her best day of work so far, Dorko said any day that involves receiving positive recognition from a colleague, client or boss qualifies as a good day.

“It’s the little things like that that reassure me that I’m doing what I should be doing and making the world a better place,” she said, adding that when it comes to personal achievements, she is especially proud of following her dreams and not listening to others’ comments.

“Basically, I was in a position where friends and family had ‘decided’ my life and that’s not what I wanted. Having the courage to persist on my own is what I’m most proud of,” she said.
