There will be a corporate/prime host of the table, who will connect with each WBE as well as provide an opportunity for WBEs to ask questions and interact.

The purpose of having this style of networking on the front end of the 13th Annual Strategic Procurement Conference is for WBEs to get to know each other and begin a conversation and/or relationship that can be developed over the next two days of the conference.

WBE2WBE Strategic Business Connections – (Thursday, September 8, 2016)

The WBE2WBE Strategic Business Connections will allow a select group of 40-50 WBEs to sit as buyers with all other certified WBEs who are attending the conference. If participants completed their registration for the Matchmaker Madness, they will automatically be included to be considered for one-on-one meetings with women CEOs who are the purchasing decision makers for their companies.

Throughout the conference, from registering on the event website to the Awards Dinner, participants will constantly be reminded of the importance of connecting and doing business with other certified WBEs.

Matchmaker Madness – (Friday, September 9, 2016)

Matchmaker Madness is designed to help connect certified WBENC WBE and certified NMSDC MBE companies with corporations. New Homes in Carlsbad Help Improve Our National Economy

This is just based on the estimated calculation for the national average. Carlsbad’s actual figures would be even higher.

Of the 530 new homes in Carlsbad, 97 were attached homes/condos. Most of the medium to large developments in Carlsbad have a few single story Carlsbad homes for sale, but supply is limited while demand is very high and these homes get sold really quickly.

To further boost the thriving housing market, two major developments are coming to Carlsbad in 2016.

The Toll brothers started selling 100 detached homes at The Vistas and Robertson Ranch and will continue through 2016.

Toll Brothers will have 3 more developments coming in phases with 198 detached homes at Robertson Ranch, The Bluffs, The Ridge, and The Terraces.

Cornerstone will be coming in this year with 293 homes and condos at Old Creek Trails (previously known as The Preserve).

This is still a relatively small number of homes compared to the 1,880 homes for sale in Carlsbad in 2015.

All this means that homebuyers have a huge positive impact on the country’s economy. The more new homes bought, the more jobs are created and the more revenue for the local and national economy.
