Haselden Construction Wins National Safety Excellence Award – Recognized for Safety Procedures, Jobsite Training and Risk Control

December 17, 2019 – – Haselden Construction recently won the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) Willis Towers Watson Construction Safety Excellence Award. The company, which at the time of application had more than 500 employees who worked more than one million man hours on jobsites in Colorado and Wyoming in 2018, competed against construction companies nationwide of similar or larger size. Finalists presented to a panel of industry and safety experts, and winners were announced at the AGC Annual Convention, held in Denver earlier this month.

The AGC Construction Safety Excellence Award (CSEA) is considered the industry’s leading safety award for general and specialty contractors, service providers, and suppliers across the United States. It recognizes companies that develop and implement innovative safety and risk control programs and demonstrate active and continuous safety and health management training among employees. Qualifying applicants are evaluated for company management commitment, active employee participation, safety training, work site hazard identification and control, and safety program innovation.

“This award is confirmation of the continuous improvement we strive for with our safety and health program,” said Byron Haselden, CEO and president of Haselden Construction. “Safety is part of our company culture, and our safety department has continued to expand its practices, procedures and ongoing training efforts to ensure that every one of our team members, and our partners, are committed to working safe.”

Haselden Construction’s Environmental Health and Safety Department reevaluated and revamped its entire safety program in 2018 to add more classroom and hands-on training for team members. The company conducted more than 5,600 hours of supervisor safety training in 2018 and introduced the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Site Safety Supervisor training course. The company’s safety program also includes:

Mandatory NCCER-accredited training for all new team members;OSHA 10-hour (subcontractors) and 30-hour training classes (team members) in both English and Spanish;Training videos in both English and Spanish;A mobile training facility for hands-on and specialized training on jobsites and remote areas; The “I Got Your 6” program that recognizes and rewards team members for catching and correcting behavior and processes that could be done in a safer manner;“Safety Bootcamp” for non-craft/construction personnel and team members new to the industry; andQR codes on team members’ hard hats for easy identification of that individual’s training and qualifications.

“It’s a privilege to witness Haselden Construction win this prestigious national safety award from our national organization,” said Michael Gifford, president and CEO of AGC Colorado. “With more than 175,000 construction workers in Colorado, proper safety procedures and training are imperative to ensure that our companies and their employees and partners have the resources needed to safely perform their jobs.”

Haselden Construction has previously been nationally recognized as Safest Contractor of the Year for General Contractors (in its category) by AGC and Top 400 General Contractors by Engineering News Record; and locally recognized as a Top 100 Workplaces in Colorado by The Denver Post and one of the state’s top family-owned businesses by ColoradoBiz.

State Tragedy Spurs Bail Bonds in Tuscaloosa Reform

December 17, 2019 – – Tuscaloosa, AL – The tragic disappearance and murder of Aniah Blanchard, a 19-year-old from Homewood, Alabama, has spurred Senator Cam Ward to push for bail bond reform. Bail bondsmen in Tuscaloosa are anticipating changes to the current system soon in light of Blanchard’s case.

Aniah Blanchard was just 19-years-old when she was kidnapped near a convenience store in Auburn, Alabama in late October. For nearly a month, the entire state of Alabama was on watch for the missing girl. Just before Thanksgiving, Aniah was found murdered in the woods.

Ibraheem Yazeed is the main suspect in the case. Yazeed was released on bail after he was charged with attempted murder and kidnapping at the time of Aniah’s disappearance. Prosecutors believe after Yazeed was released after posting bail, he found Aniah and committed the crime. Had he been denied bail, this tragedy may have never occurred.

Senator Cam Ward is pushing for legislation that would restrict those previously charged and convicted for violent crimes from posting bail. His reasoning behind the push is that those previously convicted of violent crimes are much more likely to commit the same crime again. If they are released from jail because they paid bail, they can commit the same crime and further harm others, as in the case with Yazeed and Blanchard.

Senator Cam Ward isn’t the only force in Alabama that’s working to reform bail bond laws. According to WSFA 12 News, “Former lawmaker and Homewood attorney Paul DeMarco has been in contact with lawmakers urging a solution. DeMarco has written an editorial calling for changes.”

It’s unclear what reform will take place and when, but it is clear that bail bond companies in Tuscaloosa will see the effects of the Blanchard case soon.

Create RSS Feeds Simply at mySiteFeed.com, Which Now Hosts Almost 9000 RSS Feeds

December 17, 2019 – – Anyone wishing to create RSS feeds for their website would do well to consider mySiteFeed.com who have just announced they are now hosting almost 9000 RSS feeds, and will soon surpass that figure.

RSS, for those who don’t know, stands for “Really Simple Syndication.” Webmasters and/or website authors maintain a list of important notifications on their website according to a specific set of rules. This list of notifications is referred to as an RSS feed.

RSS is a simple way for anyone who publishes content online to be able to notify readers that new content is available. This is of benefit to the end-user or reader and to the publisher. For the reader, it means that they don’t need to constantly visit the website or blog to see if there is new or updated content.

Visitors can get easily bored if they keep returning and there is no new content and it is for this reason that RSS is so important to a publisher. Most visitors or readers will be interested in more than just one website. For most people, many more.

The majority of websites do not update on a regular basis so there is no way a reader can predict when they should return. In theory, readers could be updated by email if they have subscribed on the website, but that is far from a foolproof solution.

A spokesperson for mySiteFeed.com said, “A recent report stated that around 85% of all email received by a person could be realistically classified as spam. Email inboxes have become a mess and people have started to ignore or even delete without reading so much of the email they receive. A major part of the problem is that so many websites think it’s okay to email every day with content that can only be described as advertising. People want real content, not ads.”

RSS feeds can help get around this issue as they present new articles in a list format with a line or two of each article and a link to the full article or post. Readers can see at a glance if there is anything of interest and if there is, they are more likely to visit and interact positively with the website.

For publishers who make use of RSS, there are benefits too. RSS helps not only to generate new users through increased search engine placement, but it also helps websites to generate repeat visitors. They return because they have seen the RSS notification and want to return.

There are many websites though, that do not have the staff or expertise to set up a dedicated RSS feed for themselves. In addition, many websites using outdated eCommerce software or content management systems may struggle with the practicalities of RSS and this is where mySiteFeed.com comes into the equation.

Any publisher wanting to make an RSS feed can go to mySiteFeed.com and create an account for free. Once that has been done it will be possible to start the process of setting up a feed thanks to mySiteFeed.com’s user modern and user-friendly interface.

Small business owner Paul McKindless said, “My business is family owned and operated and we have our own website which I maintain. I had read about RSS and how important it was, but I didn’t have a clue where to start. I did some research online, but it didn’t really help much. I came across mySiteFeed.com and thought I would give them a try. I was able to get it up and running more easily than I would have thought possible.”

It will surprise many perhaps, at just who uses the services of mySiteFeed.com. It’s not just small businesses running their own websites that sign up. There are many educational institutions and even libraries that are on board and actively using mySiteFeed.com’s services.

The almost 9000 users that mySiteFeed.com hosts have made use of the up to date technology offered. With both an ad-supported free account and an affordable ad-free paid account as options, mySiteFeed.com offers an easy route to getting on board and making the most of RSS.

Poser Tubes Launches Credit Repair Service in Bakersfield California

December 17, 2019 – – Poser Tubes Credit Repair has announced that they have recently launched their credit counseling and credit repair service in Bakersfield, California. Their service is for people who need to have their credit fixed because their credit score has taken a hit from a number of possible issues. These include collections accounts, judgments, foreclosures, late payments, charge offs, paid charge offs, bankruptcies, and payments where the amount paid was less than the amount due. They have been serving various cities in California and have recently expanded to Bakersfield. Those who are interested in their exact location in Bakersfield can check out their Google Maps page at https://maps.google.com/maps?cid=5843609343630807593.

The city of Bakersfield is the location of the county seat of Kern County. The city has a population of approximately 380,000, which makes it the ninth most populous city in California. Its cost of living is 19 percent lower than the California average but 12 percent higher than the US average. Like in many cities in California, people may face situations that could result in damaging their credit.

Ervin Gay from the Bakersfield office of Poser Tubes Credit Repair says, “With Poser Tubes Credit Repair, our service only charges you when items are removed from your credit report. We’ll fix your credit as quickly as possible, so you can continue with your meaningful life investments.”

The credit repair professionals from Poser Tubes Credit Repair can help people in Bakersfield improve their credit score through the elimination of various negative items found in their credit history. The first step would be to contact the three major credit bureaus and get their clients’ credit reports so that these can be checked for any entries that should not be there. If it can be proven to a particular credit bureau that these are truly erroneous entries, these will be removed and immediately result into a better credit score.

Those who have already tried the credit repair service offered by Poser Tubes Credit Repair in California have mostly positive things to say about it. For instance, Jennifer from Bakersfield said, “I needed my credit repaired so I could buy my first house. The team at Poser Tubes removed a bunch of missed credit card payments and other stuff from my credit history. My credit is no longer ‘down the tubes’!” Frank from California said, “Poser Tubes cleaned a collections account that was on my credit, and got the debt collectors to stop calling me. My credit has improved, now that this isn’t on my record. Thanks again!”

A unique feature of the service offered by Poser Tubes Credit Repair is their “pay per performance” concept. Customers will only need to pay a low monthly amount, while negative items on their credit report are being removed. This is in contrast to other companies that charge significant configuration fees and only files disputes afterwards.

It should also be noted that Poser Tubes operates 100 percent remote, which means that they can help people from anywhere in the United States.

Furthermore, customers will be able to check if there are any improvements in their score. This is because they are provided with a credit reporting dashboard. They will also receive a monthly credit repair progress report, which will show the negative items that have already been eliminated. This report will also indicate those items that are still in the process of being removed and the next steps that will be undertaken in order to improve the client’s credit score.

It is important to realize that rebuilding credit can take a long time. Thus, people should not expect overnight improvements to their score. It may take weeks, months or even years, but it does not mean that people will have to wait that long. Some improvements in the score can be noticed within six months to one year.

People who need more information about the credit restoration services offered by Poser Tubes Credit Repair in Bakersfield can visit their website at http://www.posertubes.com/credit-repair-bakersfield-ca/ or contact them on the telephone or via email. They are open 24 hours, from Monday to Sunday.

Active Body Chiro-Care Offers Herniated Disc Treatment

December 17, 2019 – – Active Body Chiro-Care, based in Los Angeles, California, has announced that they are offering herniated disc treatment. A herniated disc is a common spinal issue and can result into serious pain and mobility problems. This condition occurs when the cushion in between the spinal discs, which is supposed to prevent two discs from rubbing against each other, gets damaged or is dysfunctional. A herniated disc can cause nerve irritation, pain, weakness in the extremities, and numbness.

Dr. James Hogan, who heads the chiropractors at Active Body Chiro-Care, says, “Your first line of treatment for a herniated disc should involve non-surgical procedures with a chiropractor. This will help you avoid using addictive pain-killers or undergoing invasive surgery that can cause more problems than it fixes.”

Dr. Hogan continues, “We have a wide variety of treatments available to help you with your herniated disc. First, the diversified technique, which is a form of chiropractic adjustment can help realign your spine and stop spinal disc degeneration. And the activator technique also allows the chiropractor to make small but precise adjustments to your spine to relieve pressure through the use of a small spring-loaded device. This can also help restore normal blood flow to your spinal discs, and increase the flow of nutrients and oxygen to areas that have been damaged.”

Several techniques may also be applied on the spine in some cases to help restore the health of the spine. The chiropractor may also help develop a customized physical therapy exercise program that can be followed by the patient at home. This will be instrumental in helping build strength in the neighboring muscles and ligaments that are there to support the spine and neck, with the result that the healing process is accelerated.

Complementary modalities can also be integrated into their holistic treatment program. These include massage therapy, Kinesio taping, nutritional counseling, and trigger point therapy. These modalities will work synergistically to accelerate healing. Dr. Hogan and his team can treat a variety of conditions. These include herniated discs, chronic back pain, muscle strains, headaches, whiplash, degenerative disc disease, sciatica, neck pain, and injured hamstring.

Dr. Hogan points out that the spine is a complex network of bones, nerves, muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Just one of its components that is out of alignment can result into pain. Dr. Hogan and his team perform gentle spinal manipulations that will reposition that element and put it back in its proper place.

Active Body Chiro-Care can also serve those who need a sports chiropractor in Santa Monica and other places in Los Angeles. When an athlete is injured, the usual technique of resting and icing up the injury does not really address the underlying cause of the injury. The result is that the athlete will suffer from lingering stiffness and soreness and the injury will often take a longer time to heal than if treated by a chiropractor at the start.

The chiropractor can also help reduce the risk of aggravating old injuries and re-injury. Chiropractic treatment can minimize pain and inflammation and reduce the sports injury healing time. The sports chiropractor can also provide lifestyle advice that can help athletes remain free from injury while practicing the sport they love.

Chiropractic treatment for sports injuries will usually involve several treatment sessions over the course of several weeks. However, many of the patients have experienced feeling better even after just a single treatment. It is indeed possible to get healed from sports injuries without resorting to the use of painkillers or surgery. And what is more important is that athletes will be able to have full range of motion, enhanced nervous and immune system health, and reduced soreness and stiffness, once the treatments start.

Those who are searching for chiropractic services in West Los Angeles can visit the Active Body Chiro-Care website, or contact them through the telephone or via email. The chiropractic clinic has four locations in Los Angeles: Santa Monica, South Bay, West Hollywood and Westwood. Those interested in their services can find out the office hours for their different branches by visiting their website.

Hagens Berman's Pareteum Corp. (TEUM) Securities Class Action:

Hagens Berman filed an expansive Complaint on behalf of all investors who purchased or otherwise acquired Pareteum Corporation securities and pursues claims against the Defendants under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (the "Exchange Act"). After Hagens Berman filed its Complaint, other substantially similar complaints have been filed alleging differing class periods. To date, the most expansive class Period is Dec. 14, 2017 through Oct. 21, 2019, inclusive.

According to the detailed Complaint filed by Hagens Berman, Defendants misled investors by materially misrepresenting Pareteum's true business operations and financial results.

Specifically, the Complaint alleges Defendants misrepresented Pareteum as a "rapidly growing Cloud Communications Platform company" that was poised for exponential growth due to the Company's involvement in new industries such as block chain, customer wins, a rising "36-month contract revenue backlog," and effective contract conversion rates when in truth none of that was true.

The Complaint alleges, unbeknownst to investors and contrary to Defendants' statements, Pareteum contracted with either fake entities, related-third parties, or companies so small they had no chance of ever satisfying the value Defendants assigned to their contracts. Moreover, throughout the Expanded Class Period, Defendants violated Generally Accepted Accounting Principles ("GAAP") by prematurely recognizing revenues and inflating accounts receivable.

The truth emerged through a series of disclosures occurring between June 7, 2019 and October 21, 2019, when the Company announced that it will restate its consolidated financial statements as of and for the full year ended December 31, 2018, and interim periods ended March 31, 2019 and June 30, 2019 (the "Non-Reliance Periods").

As a result of these disclosures, the value of Pareteum stock has consistently decreased, damaging investors.

On Nov. 15, 2019, after announcing the company would not timely file its quarterly financial statements as a result of its plan to restate financial statements for the Non-Reliance Periods, Pareteum disclosed that it had received a notice from Nasdaq stating the company was not in compliance with its rules and is in danger of being delisted.

On Nov. 25, 2019, Defendants announced Robert H. Turner has been terminated as Chairman and CEO of Pareteum.

"We're focused on recovering investors' substantial losses and holding Pareteum and its senior management accountable for their outright fraud," said Reed Kathrein, the Hagens Berman partner leading the investigation.

If you purchased shares of TEUM and suffered significant losses, click here to discuss your legal rights with Hagens Berman.

Whistleblowers: Persons with non-public information regarding Pareteum should consider their options to help in the investigation or take advantage of the SEC Whistleblower program. Under the new program, whistleblowers who provide original information may receive rewards totaling up to 30 percent of any successful recovery made by the SEC. For more information, call Reed Kathrein at 844-916-0895 or email TEUM@hbsslaw.com.

iRobot Corporation (IRBT) Securities Class Action:

The Complaint alleges that, throughout the Class Period, iRobot reported explosive, double-digit revenue growth, which it attributed to increasing demand for its Roomba products, expanded gross margin due to distributor acquisitions, greater brand awareness and technological innovation. In reality, iRobot was engaging in channel-stuffing in order to inflate its sales and revenues figures, and had acquired two of its largest distributors in order to facilitate and conceal this deceptive practice. As a result of these misrepresentations, iRobot shares traded at artificially inflated prices throughout the Class Period.

The market learned the truth about iRobot's fraud through a series of disclosures between April 23, 2019 and October 22, 2019, when the Company, unable to continue its channel-stuffing scheme, announced disappointing quarterly revenues and poor financial guidance. All told, these disclosures caused iRobot shares to decline precipitously, wiping out significant shareholder value.

"We're focused on investors' losses and whether the company inflated its reported revenues," said Reed Kathrein, the Hagens Berman partner leading the investigation.

Whistleblowers: Persons with non-public information regarding iRobot should consider their options to help in the investigation or take advantage of the SEC Whistleblower program. Under the new program, whistleblowers who provide original information may receive rewards totaling up to 30 percent of any successful recovery made by the SEC. Virginia Based Crawl Space Repair Company Helps Make Crawl Space Encapsulation More Affordable For Residents

Bay Crawl Space, a small crawl space repair business helps Virginia residents to encapsulate and renovate their crawl spaces for affordable rates.

VIRGINIA BEACH and NEWPORT NEWS, VA / ACCESSWIRE / December 17, 2019 /  Virginia is one of the most sought after states to live in the United States thanks to its east coast location and proximity to important landmarks like Washington. However, homes in Virginia are amongst some of the oldest in the country.

This means that many homebuyers in the region are in need of affordable and reliable home renovation services before they can move into their new home.

Many Virginian houses were built with a crawl space underneath, as is in keeping with the architecture of the area. However, crawl spaces under houses can cause immense problems for homeowners, and can often be difficult to repair.

Crawl spaces that are not sealed properly can become homes to unwanted animals and pests, but they can all cause much bigger and hard to repair issues such as rising damp and mildew.

For citizens of Virginia, crawlspaces in need of repair and encapsulation have long caused an issue, but a new business has emerged to help people to deal with the issue.

Virginia company Bay Crawl Space (https://www.baycrawlspace.com/) offers crawl space encapsulation services across Virginia. They have two offices, one in Virginia Beach and a second in Newport News area.

Due to the difficult nature of crawl space repair, many residents leave it too long to have their issues tackled by a professional, as it is often unaffordable for residents to pay in one lump sum. This leads to worse problems and can cause problems with the structural integrity of homes.

As a result of this need for an affordable option, Bay Crawl Space now offers affordable payment plans so that homeowners can tackle crawl space problems as soon as they arise.

These payment plans could help to reduce the number of houses that go into disrepair or get sold due to crawl space problems and issues with damp and mold.
