(the "Company" or "HAWKEYE") (TSXV:HAWK)(Frankfurt:HGT; WKN:A12A61; ISIN:CA42016R3027): is pleased to announce it has arranged to complete a non-brokered private placement of up to 16,000,000 common units in the capital of the Company at a price of $0.025 per Unit with a lead order from Palisades Goldcorp.

Each unit will consist of one common share of the Company and one share purchase warrant, with each warrant entitling the holder to acquire one common share at a price of $0.05 per common share for a period of thirty-six (36) months following closing of the offering.

Upon closing of the placement, the Company will receive up to $400,000 in total proceeds.

The Offering is subject to regulatory approval and the units will be subject to a four month hold period from closing of the offering. Finder's fees may be paid on all or a portion of the Offering.

Proceeds will be used for work programs, possible acquisition(s) and general working capital purposes.
