About AmeriCann

AmeriCann (OTCQB:ACAN) is a cannabis company that develops cultivation, processing and product manufacturing facilities.

AmeriCann uses greenhouse technology which is superior to the current industry standard of growing cannabis in warehouse facilities under artificial lights. According to industry experts, by capturing natural sunlight, greenhouses use 25 percent fewer lights, and utility bills are up to 75 percent less than in typical warehouse cultivation facilities. As such, AmeriCann's Cannopy System enables cannabis to be produced with a greatly reduced carbon footprint, making the final product less expensive. Additionally, greenhouse construction costs are nearly half of warehouse construction costs.

AmeriCann is also designing GMP Certified cannabis extraction and product manufacturing infrastructure. Through a wholly-owned subsidiary, AmeriCann Brands, Inc., the Company intends to secure licenses to produce cannabis infused products including beverages, edibles, topicals and concentrates. AmeriCann Brands, Inc. plans to operate a Marijuana Product Manufacturing business at the Massachusetts Cannabis Center with over 40,000 square feet of state-of-the art extraction and product manufacturing infrastructure.

Leafbuyer Technologies Announces Growth Strategy Into New Legalized Markets

Company Will Gain Recurring Revenue from Dispensaries in New Jersey, Arizona, and Other Legalized States

DENVER, CO / ACCESSWIRE / November 23, 2020 / Leafbuyer Technologies, Inc. ("Leafbuyer" or "the Company") (OTCQB:LBUY), a leading cannabis technology company, announced today its plan to target the states that legalized recreational or medical cannabis in the 2020 election, specifically Arizona, New Jersey, Mississippi, Montana, and South Dakota.

"We are experiencing success with our new Smart Technology products, and we are excited to expand our reach into these five newly legal cannabis markets," said Kurt Rossner, CEO of Leafbuyer. "After launching Leafbuyer in Colorado when the state first legalized recreational cannabis, we have become cannabis technology experts. I feel confident we will be able to convert many of the emerging dispensaries into lifelong Leafbuyer customers."

In the recent election, five states legalized medical or recreational cannabis which altogether could generate over $2.5 billion in annual sales by 2024. Arizona and New Jersey legalized recreational cannabis sales, Mississippi legalized medical sales, and South Dakota legalized both. While Leafbuyer plans to target each of these markets, the Company will initially target New Jersey and Arizona.

In New Jersey, voters passed Public Question Number 1, and lawmakers are likely to pass legislation shaping the legal cannabis system in the next few days. The resulting recreational market will be massive due to the density of the state's population, its proximity to metropolitan areas, and a high level of disposable income. New Jersey may also serve as a catalyst in the region for recreational cannabis. Experts say the recent legalization is "expected to spur neighboring states in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions to follow suit."

Arizona already has a robust medical marijuana program established in 2010, and many of the existing dispensaries will soon apply for recreational licenses. Leafbuyer will immediately increase efforts to secure medical dispensary clients in Arizona to increase brand awareness. As the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) receives applications from Jan 19 – Mar 9, 2021, Leafbuyer will then pursue the recreational license winners.

"We are excited to expand the Leafbuyer footprint into these new markets," continued Rossner. "Dispensaries in New Jersey, Arizona, and beyond will soon discover how the Leafbuyer platform can help attract and retain cannabis customers. We are also looking ahead to the states that may legalize marijuana in 2021."

As the aforementioned states establish their markets throughout 2021, several other states may legalize cannabis through their legislatures. New York, Connecticut, Maryland, New Mexico, and potentially Pennsylvania are all viewed as likely candidates for recreational legalization in 2021. Legalization in these markets could lead to another $6 billion in business opportunities. Leafbuyer will monitor each state closely to look for opportunities to establish an early lead in each market.

EnerDynamic/Cat 5 Commissions Feasibility Study to Build Net Zero Student and Faculty Housing for the University of Puerto Rico

NIAGARA FALLS, ON / ACCESSWIRE / November 23, 2020 / EnerDynamic Hybrid Technologies Corp. (TSXV:EHT) ("EHT") is pleased to provide a further update on initiatives with its JV partner, Brieke Family Assets Ltd ("BFA"), and their jointly-owned subsidiary, Cat5 Solar and Microgrids LLC (the "JV").

The JV has commissioned Vallejo & Vallejo, a Puerto Rican professional services firm that specializes in appraisals, market studies, feasibility studies, and investment analysis, to produce a feasibility study to develop a net zero housing community for students and faculty members in conjunction as a Private Public Partnership with the University of Puerto Rico.

The JV has been working with the University of Puerto Rico on the design and detail of the Eco Community for over a year, with original design concepts from Puerto Rico's renowned green architect, Dr. Fernando Abruña, a past professor at the University of Puerto Rico for forty years and an award winning architect.

The University of Puerto Rico has nearly 60,000 students, with other collective universities adding over 50,000 additional students, on the island.

The island of Puerto Rico has endured frequent hurricanes and earthquakes and has a famously unreliable electricity service. This Eco Community will be the first resilient and sustainable student and faculty housing project of its kind.

The original site for the project was an uninhabited part of the famous Botanical Gardens. The decision was made to move the project and locate the Eco Community on the University of Puerto Rico Rio Piedras campus, Barbosa avenue San Juan, Puerto Rico just under 3 miles from the originally-proposed site. A link to the concept presentation is provided below, however it is based on the original site not the ultimate and approved site.

https://spaces.hightail.com/receive/ltKk0B6W5w.

Dr. Fernando Abruña, Partner in Abruña & Musgrave Architects, said, "I am very excited to play a significant role in what will be an architectural achievement and especially pleased to be working with the University of Puerto Rico, where I taught for so many years".

John Gamble, CEO of EHT, said "We look forward to the results of the feasibility study confirming what the collective team has been working on and to receiving the final approval from the board. It will be an honor to be a part of such an innovative and important project and to form a unique Private Public Partnership with the esteemed University of Puerto Rico."

About EnerDynamic Hybrid Technologies

EHT delivers proprietary, turn-key energy solutions which are intelligent, bankable and sustainable. EHT's expertise includes the development of its ENERTEC module structures with full integration of smart energy solutions. Using a proprietary skin and foam core that is stronger than traditional wood or steel structural insulated panels, EHT provides exceptional thermal energy efficiency in modular homes, cold storage facilities, residential/commercial out buildings and emergency/temporary shelters. EHT works with its partners worldwide to erect the buildings on-site utilizing EHT staff and local crews. In addition to traditional support to established electrical networks, ENERTEC buildings excel where no electrical grid exists.

About ENERTEC

The EHT advanced ENERTEC Modular Wall and Roof System uses a proprietary skin and foam core that is stronger and more energy efficient than traditional wood or steel structures providing the highest ratings for energy efficiency. EHT works with its partners worldwide to erect the buildings on-site utilizing EHT staff and local crews. After installation, each structure can be furnished and finished to meet the customer's requirements including siding, tile, kitchens and bathrooms or segregated commercial rooms. The finished wall product can be shipped on pallets and delivered via rail, truck or water in standard formats.

At the core of the ENERTEC product line is the ENERTEC Embedded Solar Roof Module. Solar cells are embedded in a proprietary fire retardant skin resulting in substantial cost savings by eliminating heavy glass panels and aluminum racking required for traditional solar panels. Two barriers to greater adoption of solar energy are weight limitations of the roof on which solar panels could be deployed and onerous shipping and labour costs. A lighter product at a better price point will open a larger market for solar due to the faster return of capital investment especially for rural and remote users looking to go off-grid. Furthermore, the entire EHT embedded solar roof becomes a massive solar panel capable of producing significantly more energy than the home requires, allowing the structure to then become an important source of power for the local micro grid or large battery storage systems.

Neither TSX Venture Exchange nor its Regulation Services Provider (as that term is defined in the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange) accepts responsibility for the adequacy or accuracy of this release.

The statements herein that are not historical facts are forward-looking statements. Forward-looking information involves risk, uncertainties and other factors that could cause actual events, results, performance, prospects, and opportunities to differ materially from those expressed or implied by such forward-looking information, including risks related to the completion of all approvals from applicable regulatory authorities. Shop Small and Give Back This Holiday Season

MISSION, KS / ACCESSWIRE / November 23, 2020 / This year has been tough for many. Despite the challenges, acts of compassion and generosity can bring together the global community. With this holiday season different than those before, it is important to remember the world's shared humanity and help make the season brighter.

For those who will be celebrating this season and are looking for gifts that give back, UNICEF Market offers an online collection of handcrafted gifts made by artisans from around the world. Supporting these small businesses helps both the artisans – many of whom are dealing with economic hardship because of the pandemic – and the lifesaving mission of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).

The platform brings business to artists like Mirian Otzin from Central America, who began weaving using Mayan techniques with her mother as a hobby at the age of 8. Otzin worked for a female weavers organization for 16 years before becoming an entrepreneur.

"This is something I'm grateful to UNICEF Market for because for me and many artists like me, this is our only source of income," she said. "Thanks to its system and the space it's opened up for artisan women like me, we still have hope that we can overcome this pandemic. During these hardships, we're still crafting in our home-based workshops, making sure we're following all the health protocols set by our health departments and the platform's rules that we must follow to keep everyone safe."

Featuring an array of woven goods, Otzin's profile includes table linens, cushion covers and bags. In addition to Otzin, more than 2,000 artisans are empowered on the platform. These entrepreneurs share their talents, selling their handcrafted items for homes and gardens, jewelry and more, such as reclaimed stone flowerpots and onyx and marble chess sets from Mexico, teakwood cutting boards from Thailand, silk tapestries from Ghana and knit blankets from India.

A portion of gifts' proceeds also help fund lifesaving programs such as nutrition, sanitation, education and more in the more than 190 countries where UNICEF works. Since the COVID-19 pandemic started, the organization's 13,000 staffers have reached 250 million children with distance-based learning and 2.88 billion people with virus prevention information, as well as delivering more than 234 million units of personal protective equipment, hospital equipment and diagnostic tests to frontline workers globally. As the largest vaccine buyer in the world, the organization is set to lead the procurement and supply of COVID-19 vaccines in the world's biggest and fastest operation of its kind.

Make Small Holiday Celebrations Special with a Fresh Menu

MISSION, KS / ACCESSWIRE / November 23, 2020 / (Family Features) Holiday festivities with immediate family members or just a few friends rather than larger gatherings may feel different than normal, but you can make the most of the situation with these tips to add intimacy and special meaning to celebratory moments:

Use special dishes, glassware and linens to convey the tone of the celebration. Go ahead and use your best dishes or enhance your everyday plates with the use of cloth napkins or a festive tablecloth. Bring out the fancy glasses to savor every sip.

Arrange visually appealing, individual mini-snack platters for each person. Combine grapes with a special cheese, crackers, olives and nuts for an easy way to curb appetites before the main course.

Set a festive table with a simple but creative centerpiece. For instance, you can combine candles, flowers and draped bunches of colorful grapes. Place votive candles on mirrors for added shimmer and sparkle. Tie a gold or silver wire ribbon bow around the napkins at each place setting. Handwritten place cards with guests' names can add a surprising and special touch.

Stay healthy to enjoy the holidays. Choose healthy foods like fruits and vegetables that help support the immune system. Maintain your exercise schedule as much as possible and ensure you are getting enough sleep.

Opt for homemade over processed foods for signature dishes then reinforce with prepared items to fill out the menu, if needed. Let your guests bring part of the meal or something to contribute to the festivities.

Adding a sweet touch to the menu can help keep guests coming back for more. For example, fresh California grapes are available into January and are perfect for the holiday season. Enjoy them as a fresh, healthy snack or side dish, or as an ingredient to add taste and visual appeal to recipes to make the season feel special.

Start the meal with a simple but beautiful salad such as Grape and Spinach Salad with Raspberry Balsamic Dressing, where the grapes provide festive color and pleasing texture. Pair your chosen entree with Warm Farro Salad with Grapes and Delicata Squash for a hearty side dish that can also be served on its own. Finally, cap off the celebration with homemade Grape and Apple Sheet Pan Pie.

Visit grapesfromcalifornia.com/recipe to find more holiday-worthy dishes from appetizers and entrees to sides, snacks and desserts.

Olives
Hummus
Marinated artichoke hearts

Spinach or other dips
Dolmades (stuffed grape leaves)

Fold each short side into middle and close like a book. Fold once more to make thick block and cut in half. Wrap each piece in plastic and chill at least 30 minutes or overnight.

To make filling: In large bowl, combine apples, grapes, sugar, flour, lemon juice and salt; set aside.

To assemble pie: Heat oven to 375 F.

Roll one half of dough out to 18-by-13-inch rectangle. Transfer to 10-by-15-inch heavy baking sheet; place in refrigerator to chill while rolling out top sheet. Roll out remaining dough to 18-by-13-inch rectangle and use pastry cutter to cut into 1 1/2-inch wide strips.

Transfer filling into chilled pastry and spread evenly. Lay dough strips on top of filling in lattice pattern and crimp sides together. Mix egg with water and brush top of pie. Sprinkle with demerara sugar and bake until filling is bubbling, and crust is nicely browned, about 45-50 minutes.

A Young Kid At A Barbershop Sweeping Hair To An Owner Of Multiple Businesses; This Is The Story Of Jerry Speakman

NEW YORK, NY / ACCESSWIRE / November 23, 2020 / What we do when we are younger can have a profound impact on who we become when we are older. This was the case for Jerry Speakman. An entrepreneur of many different kinds, he was first introduced to the idea of owning a business and being an entrepreneur at a young age when he had his first job at a barbershop.

"My motivation came from when I started my first gig at the age of 10 years old sweeping hair at our local BarberShop. It was called Rileys and now is named Overflo in Columbus, GA. This inspired me to become an entrepreneur like my mentors and coach who own the Barber Shop and Saloon. It kept me out of trouble and kept me focused on how to earn money for myself instead of asking for money from my parents. I was raised with both my parents but in a separate home. Yes, I understand things happen where your parents don't see eye to eye, but I didn't let that stop me because I know someone out there is depending on me to be successful," recounts Jerry.

Jerry runs a few types of businesses. He runs a financial literacy company, an automotive business, computer repair company and is involved in real estate. What has made Jerry so successful is that he is not focused on outside competition.

"There is no competition, the only competition I have is myself. When you look at yourself in the mirror, you should be your only competition because we get in the way of our dreams because we listen to the outside and let that control your business. You should focus on self and ignore those outsiders. Self is the key way to overcome obstacles. I must say once I did this myself, my business was suddenly booming. The reason is that once the laziness, procrastination, and my bad habits got out the way, that's when I started to be my own competition," Jerry states.

A huge part of this is not measuring success based on achieving goals but pushing himself toward his dream every day and seeing success in the little things.

"Everybody is successful if you wake up this morning if you are reading this article, you are successful, we are successful. Success is not about landing that big job or having an outstanding business; it's about you waking up every morning going after your dreams and inspirations. You must have the dog mentality when you wake up every morning. I will have a good day, I will be successful, I will be the next Warren Buffet in my family, and I will overcome every obstacle that comes my way. I will never be defeated if so much adversity comes my way, and I will never quit. Finish what you started, and you will be successful," Jerry says.

For those wishing to start their own business, Jerry says that mindset will be key in helping you begin your journey. Like many others, Jerry explains that getting started is always the biggest obstacle in the way of becoming successful. Once this is overcome with the help of a good mindset, anything is possible.

"Mindset is very, very important. Mindset is the key to having a successful business, and I must say if you are young and tuning in, make sure you do what your mind has in place and don't listen to anyone who tells you you can't do it, nor you will never be great. Strangers will be your biggest supporters when starting a business. The old saying when growing up is don't talk to strangers, which I agree with when you are little, but once you outgrow that stage, strangers will make you successful before anyone in your circle will," Jerry advises.
