Survey Finds that More Americans Plan to Travel by Car in 2021

The results of UpSwell Marketing’s recent auto survey provide key insights into consumer trends in vehicle ownership and maintenance

KENNESAW,, GA – December 23, 2020 /MarketersMedia/

December, 2020 — UpSwell (www.upswellmarketing.com), a marketing firm that specializes in helping local businesses expand their customer base, today announced the findings of their recent auto consumer survey. The survey found that 68 percent of people surveyed plan to travel by car in 2021 as opposed to only 21 percent who plan to travel by plane. The survey also provided key insights into what consumers look for when selecting an auto repair shop.

“While consumer spending in many industries, including the auto industry, has been down during the COVID-19 pandemic, the survey findings were positive for our auto repair shop clients,” said Tim Ross, co-founder and president of UpSwell Marketing. “Many consumers have viewed driving as a safer mode of travel than flying during the pandemic and this trend will continue into next year. It is a great time for auto repair shops to evaluate their current marketing strategy to ensure that they are reaching potential customers.”

The survey results highlight the most effective marketing strategies for auto repair shops to invest in. Reputation management should remain top of mind as 59 percent of respondents said they rely on word of mouth when deciding which auto repair shop to visit. While 41 percent of respondents took their search online, saying that they normally select an auto repair shop through a Google search. This underscores the importance of a strong search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC) strategy. Promotional/direct mail rounded out the top three, with 11 percent of respondents citing it as how they select an auto repair shop.

A surprising finding from the survey was that the 24-29 age group relied on direct mail more than the other age groups surveyed, with 14 percent citing it as a way to choose an auto repair shop. Only 5 percent of respondents aged 45-54 relied on direct mail.

When it came to deciding factors for choosing an auto shop value/pricing was the top factor, selected by 65 percent of respondents. Reputation came in second, with 60 percent factoring reviews and reputation into their decision-making process. Answers varied by demographics, with respondents aged 45-54 citing reputation as equally important to value/pricing and respondents earning over $200k citing reputation as more important than value/pricing.

Convenience and customer service were other top factors cited in choosing an auto repair shop, by 47 percent and 38 percent of respondents, respectively. Another interesting finding was that while many valued convenience, the average amount of time respondents were willing to drive to an auto shop was 27 minutes.

The survey was conducted in November 2020 and included 555 respondents in the United States, aged 25-54. All respondents were vehicle owners and primary decision makers in their households. Tony Amaradio – Highlights the Connection between Religion and the Success of Children

Many studies support Amaradio’s belief that kids holding deep spiritual convictions are better equipped to confront life’s most trying challenges.

Aliso Viejo, CA – December 23, 2020 /MarketersMedia/

Tony Amaradio, financial expert, highlights the link between religious values and the future of the youth. He explains how children who attend church services develop the tools for success. In the past, Amaradio has shared his expertise to educate kids about money, while stressing the importance of lifelong giving. In much the same way, his keen insights gleaned from a career of impressive accomplishments and bolstered by his own strong spiritual beliefs, clearly illustrate how youngsters benefit from being devout, while preparing them to be steadfast, disciplined and compassionate adults.

Many studies support Amaradio’s belief that kids holding deep spiritual convictions are better equipped to confront life’s most trying challenges. A Mississippi State University study of more than 16,000 elementary school children found that those who discussed religion and accompanied their parents to church regularly were calmer, more eager to learn and exhibited better social skills than their peers. Other studies published by the journals Social Behavior and Personality, Developmental Psychology, and Family Relations concluded that young people with a faith-centered upbringing also felt closer to their families, due to the sense of community and emotional stability that shared worship brings.

When studying the Bible’s teachings becomes a joint act among family members—and is reinforced in the home—the word of God becomes an integral part of kids’ lives. Though the simple act of waking on Sundays to regularly visit church gives children a sense of responsibility and self-control, the lessons and accounts discussed can create a pathway to success that is supported by wholehearted involvement in church activities. Through worship services and the endeavors of youth groups, kids learn how to work together in groups, how to comfort those in need and even how to speak in public. Tony Amaradio also reminds parents that a great benefit of a churchgoing childhood originates right from the scriptures themselves: following the trials and tribulations of religious figures, kids are given a blueprint of how to face character-defining issues of temptation, perseverance and forgiveness.

Faith also helps children succeed by giving them peace of mind. With church services kids are provided with a moral compass to guide them through our often-perplexing world, while private prayer gives them the time they require for spiritual reflection. Removed from the distracting complexities of daily life, quiet moments help instill a serenity that allows them to open their hearts to God. In turn, kids cultivate a personal and spiritual connection that also gives them the clarity to see the bigger picture—and to make considered, wise decisions throughout their lives.

Tony Amaradio is a leading financial strategist and proud founder of two highly regarded wealth management companies, a sought-after speaker, and former host of the popular financial radio show “Market Talk,” which he aired for more than twenty years. He currently dedicates a good portion of his time to philanthropy, giving talks about charitable investments and meaningful causes. He also co-authored a book with his wife Carin: 2009’s Faithful with Much: Breaking Down the Barriers to Generous Giving, which is recognized as a comprehensive and inspiring guide to achieving effective financial management.

Couples Rehabs in Southern California Guide for 2020

Guide for 2020 Couples Rehabs in Southern California highlights the importance of attending an addiction treatment center. Questions couples have during the first step of drug rehab are finally answered.

Huntington Beach, United States – December 22, 2020 /MarketersMedia/

Although most couples with drug and alcohol problems are admitted to intensive care units or inpatient programs, this is not the only option available. For those who do not need the same treatment level as an inpatient, outpatient programs can offer a more flexible alternative.

Couples may not know how to choose the best program for their needs, but on this page, Couples Rehabs will show couples when they can use outpatient rehabilitation, what they are eligible for and what services patients can expect from these services.

At a Southern California couples rehab, they typically use outpatient care for clients who have completed 90 days of inpatient care. This treatment allows patients to live and maintain a flexible, self-directed therapy plan.

Clients must also attend individual sessions every two weeks to take on tasks and achieve their treatment plan goals. Outpatient clients must attend three group sessions per week and one session per day for the treatment duration.

Participation in the 12-step reconstruction program is also required, and customers must attend at least four sessions a week. Couples must actively work with a sponsor through the twelve steps and actively cooperate with the sponsor in each of the twelve steps.

To meet the needs of a diverse clientele, rehabilitation centers offer two different types of outpatient treatment. The first type is referred to as outpatient and is intended to be extended inpatient care and is available to those who have not yet undergone long-term treatment for substance abuse disorders.

Regardless of the type of treatment, the outpatient IOP program relies heavily on evidence – cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to achieve recovery goals.

Group and individual therapies are carried out by a certified drug and alcohol counselor, with the assistance of a psychiatrist, psychologist, social worker, or other qualified professional.

The group sessions in outpatient programs aim to process everyday life through peer rehabilitation. Members of the Group can give each other feedback and methods that work for them and exchange experiences. During the day, the sessions allow the client to work through their day and support himself financially.

Individual sessions are intended to help individuals work on the core problems they have identified during inpatient treatment. Outpatient and inpatient programs vary considerably, but some outpatient programs in which the patient is allowed to live at home. Some allow the outpatient to live at home with a family or in a sober residential facility. Stationary clients must commit themselves to at least one hour of daily physical and mental activity.

Couples who go through the process and get sober at couples rehab in Southern California Orange County generally prove capable of working together as a team to solve the underlying problems that can drive addictive behavior in group therapy.

Daniel Yomtobian on the Future of the Digital Advertising Sector

Boosted by the proliferation of mobile devices, the rise of social media platforms, and the boom in online shopping and streaming services, digital advertising has enjoyed a decade of robust growth.

Los Angeles, CA – December 22, 2020 /MarketersMedia/

Over the past few months, the entire world has been affected by the ongoing pandemic. The economy in many countries suffered a downturn, but companies in the digital sector found a way to overcome the current situation. “Advertising has always been an industry quick to evolve with the times, devising new formats to reach consumers in an increasingly connected world,” notes Daniel Yomtobian, an entrepreneur and corporate executive with an established reputation in the online media space. “While the timing and strength of a global economic revival remain uncertain, the digital advertising market has held up relatively well and is expected to stage a swift recovery once business activity returns to normal. Moreover, there are indications that social distancing measures and quarantines are driving changes in consumer behaviors, most notably a strong pivot towards online and mobile services. This is likely to create additional opportunities for digital advertisers and help them rebound faster.”

Boosted by the proliferation of mobile devices, the rise of social media platforms, and the boom in online shopping and streaming services, digital advertising has enjoyed a decade of robust growth. As Daniel Yomtobian points out, it now accounts for more than half of total ad spending, and its share is projected to increase further. Before the pandemic started affecting the market, digital ad spending was forecast to reach $335 billion in 2020, rising to $517 billion by the end of 2023, according to estimates published on Statista. In a report released last August, Grace Research Data said the global digital ad market would deliver a compound annual growth rate of 11.3% between 2019 and 2026 to hit $664.7 billion in value. Although forecasts are being revised to account for the impact of the pandemic, most analysts and industry players expect the sector to weather this storm relatively well with support from several verticals. While travel, hospitality, and traditional entertainment have been battered, there has been excellent news from other quarters: food delivery, software (especially messaging and video conferencing solutions), streaming services (films, gaming, and music), home improvement, and hobbies are areas that have seen a spike in popularity and a related increase in digital advertising budgets.

Market analysts and economists are wary of committing to projections for a specific recovery timeframe, but most appear to expect some relief during the second half of the year and a pronounced upturn in 2021, Daniel Yomtobian comments. In the digital advertising sector, there are signs of tentative optimism, as suggested by a recent poll from the European division of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB). A large proportion of the respondents, which included both buy- and sell-side operators, reported a 25% drop in second-quarter spending and trading, but the majority were upbeat about the third quarter of 2020. Among buy-side participants, 60% expect some degree of improvement, the proportion rising to 67% for sell-side respondents. Additionally, the poll revealed impressive growth during the pandemic in ad spending across several verticals: healthcare topped the list with 42%, fast-moving consumer goods and entertainment each registered an increase of 35%, retail saw a 23% rise, and electronics achieved a 22% uptick. In another sign of guarded optimism, eMarketer made only a slight revision to its 2020 forecast for global advertising expenditure, amending its previously projected growth rate from 7.4% to 7%, or from an estimated $712 billion to $691.7 billion.

Starting out as a web designer, Daniel Yomtobian quickly realized that his true passion was online advertising. Considered a pioneer and innovator in this space, he has dedicated himself to helping advertisers and publishers maximize their ROI and successfully monetize their solutions. In 2014, C-Suite Quarterly described him as a “…young leader [who] will continue to play an important role in shaping the online world of tomorrow.” Daniel Yomtobian studied business marketing at California State University-Northridge.

In New Book, ‘Unorthodox’ International Bestselling Author Karoline Lindboe Englund Offers Strategies For Success During COVID-19 Lockdowns

Karoline Lindboe Englund’s book ‘Unorthodox’ shares her journey of finding personal and professional success after being ‘shunned’ from a religious group, and offers actionable solutions for success in a post-pandemic world.

Ängelholm, Sweden – December 22, 2020 /MarketersMedia/

Karoline Lindboe Englund thought her life was over in the wake of a heartbreaking divorce and shunning from her spiritual community as a Jehovah’s Witness.

Within two years, she turned the obstacles she faced into opportunities by transforming her life and building a wildly successful 7-figure lifestyle she once believed was impossible.

Now, Lindboe Englund is sharing her story in her new book: “Unorthodox – Become the Leader of Your Own Life: My Interactive Guide for an Extraordinary Life, Relationship and Business.” The book is a unique interactive guide and a tale of triumph over adversity, new beginnings, and breaking free of personal and professional chains.

In Unorthodox, the Swedish-based entrepreneur, business strategist, and mother shares her inspirational journey from heartbreak to abundance, using chaotic circumstances as leverage to upgrade her life. Her transformative journey brought her from the depths of despair to the heights of newfound love and prosperity as the owner of three successful companies.

Today, she teaches companies and individuals that they can realize their full potential if they understand how to apply an expansive mindset.

Lindboe Englund herself had to learn how to go from being a follower to being the leader of her own life.

“When I got disfellowshipped from the Jehovah’s Witnesses, I experienced a total social lockdown,” she said. “My entire social network locked, and it still is after almost three years.”

Being on “lockdown” after rejection from her faith community allowed her to clear out old beliefs and replace them with a new, empowering value system. Lindboe Englund’s newfound personal methodology has been proven especially relevant in the time of COVID-19, as so many people around the world find themselves on a forced lockdown.

With her book, Lindboe Englund wants to offer both individuals and entrepreneurs actionable solutions for success in a post-pandemic world.

“Now, more than ever, we need to be our own solution searchers,” she said. “My simple exercises and my own story can help others not only to survive the constraints of the COVID-19 pandemic, but actually transform this colossal challenge into a positive stepping stone.”

‘Unorthodox,’ released on December 4th, quickly rose to the top of Amazon bestseller charts in the U.S., the U.K., and Australia.

“I am proud, overwhelmed and honored by the success of my book,” she said. “The interest in my story shows that sharing this is important and makes a difference.”

Couples Rehabs During Covid-19 Is Essential for 2020

Covid-19 disrupts not only businesses and family but also is crushing relationships struggling with substance abuse. Couples Rehabs releases essential information regarding how to handle the issues that come during the 2020 holidays.

Huntington Beach, United States – December 22, 2020 /MarketersMedia/

After months of sheltering-in-place as the country continues to battle an ongoing public health crisis, COVID-19 has shown to be more than just a health threat. Whether it’s mental health, sobriety, or romantic relationships, the 2020 pandemic has significantly hurt almost every daily part of our lives. Single people rushed into quarantine and quickly found it nearly challenging to continue dating when they couldn’t touch, kiss, or even see their love interest face-to-face. Couples who had just started dating were put into an awkward position to either move in together sooner than later or spend more time apart. Many of those in serious, committed relationships were suddenly spending every minute of their time with or around their partner.

At the start of the pandemic, the internet was full of memes that said couples were either going to thrive or die — there was no in-between — and it was a bit nerve-wracking. But how this pandemic has altered people’s relationships are far more complicated than that. While some couples did indeed struggle, others found a silver lining to hold onto amidst the chaos and uncertainty.

According to a United Nations information letter dated 13 May 2020, the 2020 pandemic threatens society’s very fabric. They claim that there is no community or society based on definition; it is at the heart of our fabric as a society and, in particular, of our relations with each other.

The pandemic threatens the very personal and family relationships that generally protect us from adversity. It is not too late to see some of our most important relationships and family ties strained or eroded. Couples Rehabs releases essential information to guide couples through this pandemic.

Mental toxicity can be considered one of the most severe forms of mental illness in the United States. Psychological toxicity is caused by many interacting factors, including the uncertainty and ambiguity surrounding the disaster itself.

In most disasters, however, the ability to rely on others’ strength and support improves resilience after a disaster.

Pandemics, however, call into question the ability of states to demonstrate leadership and support for each other in the face of a pandemic. The disease is surrounded by a great deal of ambiguity, as contradictory World Health Organization reports and conflicting federal government leadership in its response to the Ebola outbreak in West Africa demonstrate. The disease has proved deadly in recent years in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, posing a threat to human health and public health, and economic development.

But, as mentioned before, these life-saving tactics can also prove psychologically toxic. To contain contagion and save lives, we are often forced to socially distance ourselves and even quarantine ourselves, with unintended consequences when we undermine essential relationships. The 1918 pandemic is known as the Great Depression, World War II, and the Korean War, and other pandemics.

First, we lose the sense of distraction that one often enjoys when moving from one sphere to another. As a result, fatigue is likely to become more frequent, and our much-vaunted and often aspired goals will be transformed into less critical and less meaningful tasks in other areas of our lives. The resulting mixture of the turbulences in these three areas of life and the resulting natural waves makes distraction or a breather impossible.

Third, general irritability can become ubiquitous, and interpersonal retreats are frequent. If there is no clear demarcation between one and another sphere, the frustration and even anger in one of these spheres can contaminate both spheres in the same way.

Fourth, relationships with significant other people can be distressing and are not considered supportive in the worst-case scenario. When we finally achieve peace or some emotional distance, we can experience guilt and even sadness.

Petraco about Traders: Traders hopeful during uncertain economic outlook

Petraco is one of the oldest independent trading companies in the World, priding itself on great expertise and strong connection with its customers.

Lugano , Switzerland – December 22, 2020 /MarketersMedia/

PetracoOil and gas companies have taken a hit this year with the significant reduction in oil demand and consumption following the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions. The International Energy Agency recently stated it did not expect global consumption to exceed 100m barrels a day next year, a significantly lower amount than originally predicted. Although newly developed vaccines are paving the way for what will hopefully be a quick recovery, a long road ahead remains with respect to oil and gas demand. When considering jet fuel alone, one can reasonably expect governments to keep several travel restrictions in place for a few months to come. This in turn is likely to continue impacting both air and road travel, with much lower demand for jet, diesel and gasoline. This is all inherently linked to the demand for crude oil, from which all of these products are derived. Fuelled by the optimism surrounding a vaccine and increased economic activity, Brent has been hovering around $50 a barrel. This however needs to be contextualised across a difficult Christmas period, where the majority of European countries have introduced strict government policies restricting movement and social gatherings over the holidays.

Despite crude outlook looking uncertain, OPEC production rose to a seven-month high in November, climbing by over 800,000 barrels per day from October, largely due to growing Libyan output. OPEC+ nations further agreed on 3 December to increase their collective output for February, March and April on a monthly basis. OPEC+ ministers are to meet next on January 4 2021. The new monthly meeting approach appears to indicate a cautious determination by OPEC+ to engage in more accurate and weighted decisions considering global crude production on a step-by-step basis.

Yet although 2020 has undoubtedly been a tough year for oil producers who have been forced to engage in aggressive cost-cutting to improve their bottom line, commodities trading houses have benefitted greatly from this year’s market volatility. Long-standing trading houses such as Vitol, Trafigura, Petraco and Gunvor are likely to have enjoyed the contango market structure largely present throughout 2020. Contango refers to a situation where the futures price of a commodity is higher than the spot price. Contango usually occurs when an asset price is expected to rise over time, resulting in an upward sloping forward curve. Advance traders are thus able to utilise arbitrage and other paper properties to benefit from contango. This is the opposite to a backwardated market structure, present far more frequently than contango, during which futures commodities prices are lower than prompt ones. As during 2020 oil prices reached historical lows, this in turn paved the way for a contango structure.

The current pandemic and global political situation is thus likely to create more volatility in 2021. When asked for comment however, a spokesperson for commodity trading house Petraco stated ‘it is impossible to state with precision where oil prices will be next year, but it is more likely than not that the latter half of 2021 will see some improvement in economic activity and with that higher oil prices’.

Repetitive Work Leads To $900,000 Compensation For Glass Fitter

Gerald Malouf And Partners have helped their client gain $900,000 in compensation for a repetitive work injury. The team is keen to help more individuals with other workplace injuries.

December 22, 2020 / /

A glass fitter has been awarded compensation in the amount of $900,000 after sustaining an injury at work, thanks to the support of law firm Gerard Malouf and Partners.

The law firm’s client’s duties involved lifting and carrying glass panels weighing more than 25kg, loading and unloading stock including glass sheets, and placing and fixing glass panels. The client had limited breaks at work, no variation or rotation of duties, and had limited assistance or lifting aid.

The client’s work resulted in anatomical changes through cumulative trauma to his cervical spine and lumbar spine. This is otherwise commonly referred to as injury sustained due to repetitive lifting or the nature and conditions of employment.

The Plaintiff underwent spinal surgery to both his lumbar and cervical spine due to radiating pain in his upper and lower limbs. His neck, right shoulder, and right elbow were in pain too. The Plaintiff subsequently required psychological sessions as the injury took a toll on his mental health.

He has not been able to perform his pre-injury employment duties since he was injured. He was certified as having no capacity to return to employment.

The law firm was able to successfully settle a permanent impairment claim for 25% Whole Person Impairment. Because their client’s Whole Person Impairment was agreed at over 15% WPI, he became eligible to potentially bring an additional claim for Common Law Modified Damages, also known as Work Injury Damages, which is a claim in negligence.

The firm then advised their client of a potential claim in negligence against his employer for their failure to provide a safe system of work which caused a serious injury resulting in him being unable to work.

A claim for Work Injury Damages was then commenced against the employer. The team at Gerard Malouf & Partners offer a “no win, no fee” arrangement whereby any client does not have to pay any fee until their matter is successfully resolved.

The law firm obtained expert evidence and prepared the claim of negligence against the employer. The matter was successfully settled by the firm’s solicitor and experienced barrister. The client ultimately received $900,000 in compensation from the worker’s compensation insurer.
