On the 4th January, 2021, UK-based storage company, Yeates, started building a brand new self storage facility in Weston Super Mare. This new facility was built at Weston Gateway Business Park, the town’s flagship business park on the main approach into town.

This £2.5 million purpose-built self storage facility will include 30,000 sq ft of self storage, set over four floors. Domestic and business units will be available in a variety of sizes ranging from 10-555 sq ft. There will also be a number of large business units with individual, external roller door access.

This new facility will offer 24hr access, 365 days a year and a passenger lift will ensure easy access to all floors. Self storage customers will get free access to a new business suite which will include work stations, wi-fi, drinks facilities and comfortable seating. There will also be a (paid for) secure shredding service for both domestic and business purposes and a free delivery point for the receipt of self storage customers’ goods.

These new storage facilities can be reached via easy on-site parking which can accommodate large delivery vehicles as well as general transport. Furthermore, all self storage units benefit from 24 hour CCTV surveillance that is monitored both by a private security team as well as being linked to emergency services, with fire and intruder alarms throughout the building to ensure the complete safety of every client’s goods.

The opening of this new self storage facility in Weston Super Mare marks the second location that Yeates is now active in, with a previous facility also available at Kenn Business Park, Clevedon, which is near to Nailsea and Portishead.
