About Vanguards of the Lost Lands

Vanguards of the Lost Lands is a unique, fun, digital and physical board game with rave alpha stage player reviews that will be sold on TTS and Steam.

In a post-apocalyptic tribal fantasy world you take on the role of a hero desperately trying to save your village. Gather the 4 elders of the regions and fight to become strong enough to face the villain.

Vanguards of the Lost Lands is a simple to learn, fun to play, and intuitive cooperative RPG adventure board game for 1-4 players. Players move around the board as they please and draw region cards to explore the area they are currently in. These region cards include items, weapons, armours, vehicles, followers, fights, and elder cards. Consequently, for finishing a turn on a space, the player will receive either a tribulation or favour card, which will either hinder or aid them.

The goal with this project iis two pronged. First is to create a quality digital board game to be sold on Steam, where players can play locally or with friends online. The game will feature several heroes, villains, region cards, tribulation cards, and favour cards. An additional expansion pack called “Secrets of the Old World” is currently in development. It will include new content for the game as well as expands the board for an extended player experience beyond the base game.

The second goal is to transition all the digital board game elements into an exciting, durable physical board game to deliver double the value to all our loyal supporting Vanguards.

Vanguards of the Lost Lands is available to back now on Kickstarter. They are hopeful to see an increase in pledges with the help of Funded Today and their team.
