Planpop gets major UI update that makes sharing plans a breeze

Planpop is rolling out a number of new updates to make sharing and joining plans seamless. The UI overhaul significantly streamlines the user experience by adding a new Home Feed layout and calendar sync options.

Launched last year, Planpop is a social planner app that is changing the way people share plans. The app, which is available on both iOS and Android, allows users to customize plans and share them publicly or privately. Users can also chat and create groups directly in the app. 

Planpop’s new UI encourages users to interact with their friend’s plans by putting the Home Feed in the spotlight. Users can now simply ‘Join’ events they are interested in, adding the plan and any reminders to their calendars with one tap. Browsing the feed is also easier following the new update thanks to a more compressed plan design.

In addition, the iOS version of the app will now sync with your iPhone’s default calendar. Upon starting the app for the first time, users are asked if they would like to sync their calendars. This makes it easy to see existing calendar events without having to spend time reentering information.
