They featured a demo room for their new experience centers for high-end audio, aptly titled “Absolu”, which will be rolled out across key locations throughout the Spring, first at the Centre Hi Fi Boisbriand location in early May and secondly at the Brossard location at the beginning of June. More Absolu stores are scheduled to open throughout the year. 

The Absolu concept room at the MAF, which was built on the main conference level, included flagship speakers from Yamaha, Totem, Kef, and Triangle, showing the brand’s continued dedication to high-end audio products. Vinyl records were played using a Technics SL1200GR turntable while streaming was handled by the new T+A DAC 200. The Technics SU-G700M2 paired with Triangle’s Magellan Cello speakers and Kef R11 Meta speakers. T+A PA3100HV amplifiers were used to power Marten Parker Duo and Oscar Trio speakers as well as Totem Wind Design speakers. There was a second Absolu demo room upstairs, as well, which demonstrated the new 3-way bass-reflex floor standing speakers, the NS-2000A from Yamaha along with Yamaha’s new 90-watt R-N2000A Network Streaming Receiver.
