Entertainment Management Group Announces CHINA-UNLOCKED – What You Really Need To Know About Working In China

March 5, 2018 – Entertainment Management Group announces an exciting and informative seminar “CHINA-UNLOCKED, What You Really Need To Know About Doing Business In China”. No matter what industry you are involved in, CHINA-UNLOCKED is an in-depth event designed to explain how things really work in China, how to enter China, and what is needed to better estimate and manage costs, mitigate risks and establish a sustainable and profitable presence in China. This must-attend conference goes well beyond a typical 1-2 hour seminar and addresses in detail the issues that will help you be successful. CHINA-UNLOCKED will also answer recurring and numerous questions regarding a host of specific issues such as: entering China, establishing an office in China, contracting, payments, design competitions, bidding, entry costs, business culture, and regulations—-to name a few.

Mark Driscoll stated “Although I had significant experience opening many new markets abroad, little prepared me for China. While I was ultimately successful and learned many of the nuances and challenges to working and making money in China, I realize now that the investment in time, capital, and resources would have been greatly reduced and profits significantly increased had I known what I know now. How I wish I could have attended an event like CHINA-UNLOCKED!”.

CHINA-UNLOCKED has been developed as an informative and engaging event that will address in a substantive way a myriad of important and practical issues related to entering and doing business successfully in China and will conclude with an interactive question and answer session.

The seminars take place in Los Angeles on April 4, 2018 and in Orlando, Florida on April 11th. For more information visit www.chinaunlocked.net.

Gamma Pickleball Announces Release Of New Paddle And Name Change To Razor Paddle

PITTSBURGH – GAMMA Pickleball, under the parent company GAMMA Sports, will release a new blade-style pickleball paddle to its Poly Core line on March 15, 2018 in addition to announcing a name-change to its Razor paddle.

By introducing the Needle into the Sensa Poly Core line, GAMMA will advance into the elongated paddle market. Extending the length of the paddle will enable players to reach shots formerly thought unreachable, and only sacrifices less than an inch of width. Engineered so the weight and the sweet spot exist in the center of the paddle instead of being top-heavy, the Needle will also assist those players looking for balance and control in their play.

“With this paddle, I played for four hours straight in a series of fairly challenging matches, and I was blown away by how great it felt and how well I played with it,” one paddle tester commented.

The Sensa Poly Core technology at GAMMA Pickleball provides touch on paddles and enables dink shots to be hit at sharp angles while maintaining control. The textured graphite face on the paddle enhances ball bite, improves ball control and promotes perfect placement on the baseline. In addition, the graphite face also weighs less and contributes to the 7.6 oz weight of the paddle.

“Also the sweet spot felt large, and the texture allowed me to direct spin on the ball more than I’ve felt with any other paddle,” another paddle tester added.

GAMMA Pickleball’s Poly Core paddle is proudly made in the U.S.A. at the company’s Global Headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA.

In addition to the new paddle, GAMMA Pickleball is also announcing a name change to the Razor paddle in the Sensa Poly Core line. Now, the paddle will be called “RZR” instead of “Razor.” The new name is a subtle nod to the legacy of the RZR tennis racquet, which is part of GAMMA Tennis, and will draw more focus to the heritage of the company’s overall success.

As a family-owned company with over 45 years of racquet sport experience, GAMMA Sports has utilized its advanced knowledge of composites, plastics and manufacturing techniques to enable the company to create pickleball paddles and balls with materials and methods that few can match.

Surwon Technology – Fold-able Smartphone a Distinct Probability

Hong Kong-based advanced materials pioneer, Surwon Technology says it has “no doubt” that a smartphone which can be folded or rolled into a smaller size will be widely available within 5 years.

Based on a thin film of graphene upon which the crucial microprocessors and other circuitry smartphones rely on can be printed, the company believes the innovation will spearhead the ongoing development of the device that has most changed the way most people live their lives today.

“It’s becoming clear that we’re at the limits of what can actually be achieved with the technology currently in use,” explained Surwon Technology’s Chief Technology Officer.

“There’s a pattern emerging whereby consumers are less willing to upgrade to the latest phones because the improvements being made by manufacturers are so small and incremental that they don’t justify the additional outlay. Consumers are loathe to buy the latest iteration of their favorite device for an extra megapixel or a slightly brighter screen so we believe form, rather than function will lead the evolution of smartphone and tablets,” he added.

The company says it has begun supplying specially fabricated, high-conductivity graphene sheeting to an unnamed device manufacturer with a view to evaluating initial estimates for delivery of a fully-operational, commercially-viable, folding smartphone.

Though the company would not be drawn on specifics, it said that the innovation could herald the return of the once-ubiquitous flip-phone which gave way to the candy bar designed typified by Apple and Samsung devices like the iPhone and Galaxy models as consumers demanded more screen real estate on their devices.

The lightness, flexibility and ability to withstand pressure or impacts will make the devices popular “very quickly” concluded Surwon Technology’s CTO.

Fusion Stone sees Advertising and Innovation as a Winning Combination

Fusion stone says they are excited to share their 2018 print advertising plans with their community. They decided on a brief refresher of how they determine how to advertise and to whom it may be worthwhile

“Advertising is one of the best ways to share Fusion Stone with our prospective customers and to remind our current customers why they may have purchased Fusion Stone in the first place. As importantly, we want everyone to remember that we are innovators in what we do and how we think”, according to the company’s website.

Fusion stone has two customer groups: One is the retail consumer who may be interested in Fusion Stone to enhance the curb appeal of their home or to update and improve the look of a fireplace, backsplash or feature wall with a DIY project they can actually do themselves.

The second group is the trade customer. These may be renovators, contractors, builders, and architects. This audience is interested in colour and style options but is also concerned with cost and ease of installation. They want to be assured that they will be able to meet customer expectations and still make a profit.

Fusion stone approach these two customers in different ways. First, is where the company advertise to them. For retail customers, they appeal to those interested in renovation, DIY and décor. In 2018, the company will be advertising in the following publications:

• Canadian Home Trends
• Reno & Décor
• Maison & Demeure
• Les idées de ma maison

Their trade audience is interested in publications that appeal directly to the construction and renovation industry. In 2018, they will be advertising in:

• Renovation Contractor
• Canadian Contractor
• Ontario Home Builder
• Quebec Habitation
• Esquisses

The other way that the company approaches their audiences relates to how they advertise to them. They always endeavour to be different from standard competitor ads thereby setting them apart. They always strive to differentiate their products in meaningful ways.

For 2018, the company said they will be introducing all new print ads for both their consumer and trade audiences.

Retail Consumer Advertising:
Our consumer ad – Homemade Memories – clearly demonstrates that the Fusion Stone system makes installation quick and easy and produces a beautiful result. As importantly, the company wants consumers to understand that a Fusion Stone do-it-yourself- project makes meaningful memories that last a lifetime, according to the company’s website.

Trade Adverting:
Fusion stone’s trade ad – Easy. Profitable. Business. – speaks directly to key concerns of every contractor or builder. The ad copy reinforces the idea that because installation of Fusion Stone is quick and easy it is a profitable choice that can be confidently returned to time and again.

“We are very excited about our 2018 advertising plans. We believe that our ads continue to reflect our unceasing efforts to deliver Innovation, Quality and Service to all of our customers and prospects”, the company said.

Fusion Stone is manufactured by Shouldice Designer Stone that has a rich and proud history of Innovation, Quality and Service. They are an example of the coming together of the beauty, strength, and maintenance free virtues of traditional stone with the ease of installation and affordability of stone veneer.

Fusion Stone is an easy and budget-friendly way to beautifully upgrade your home, inside and out.

Princeville, HI Author Publishes Book on the Eclipse

Moon Mission: Passage to Totality 2017, a new book by Michael Thomas, has been released by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc.

Our family invites the reader to come along with us on our expedition to Cascade, Idaho, to see the Total Eclipse of the Sun on August 21, 2017. We know millions of other families witnessed this event on that day; however, by the grace of God we were blessed to be in the perfect place and with the right equipment to be able to record fully our family’s experience of this amazing event for all now to enjoy and to relive for themselves.

A Total Eclipse is a unique experience that must be witnessed in order to appreciate fully that it is mesmerizing, captivating, enthralling, and indeed, “addicting.” Truly, if there were ever a case of “You had to be there,” then a Total Solar Eclipse is it! There are those who will be motivated to “chase” eclipses to various parts of the globe as a result of their own August 21, 2017, eclipse experiences. Indeed, I have dedicated this book to these new “Ecliptomaniacs” who now yearn for their next Totality “fix.” I became one such “Ecliptomaniac” after I witnessed my first Total Eclipse on the Big Island of Hawaii in 1991.

Photographs have been carefully selected from high resolution, still and video images, including aerial images, to tell the story of our family’s excitement and anticipation of this Total Eclipse in common with everyone else who witnessed it. The captions are short, to the point, interesting, humorous, and fun to read. The book is intended to be a “reality, photojournalistic visual experience” that does not bore the reader with arcane historical or scientific facts. Rather, it is intended to appeal to readers of all ages. Thus, I have included only brief scientific references that are necessary to describe only what the reader is actually seeing in the eclipse photographs.

This book provides a quality memento for the millions who witnessed Totality and who wish to remember their own experiences of this majestic event in their lives.

Moon Mission: Passage to Totality 2017 is a 56-page hardcover with a retail price of $25.00. The ISBN is 978-1-4809-5851-7. It was published by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. TreeRunner Raleigh Opening Day March 3rd

TreeRunner Adventure Park is an exhilarating high ropes and zipline obstacle course set in one of the many beautiful forests of North Raleigh. The park is located on the Raleigh-Cary Jewish Community Center campus just north of the 540 on Norwood and Old Creedmoor.

An Adventure Park is a combination of suspended obstacles above the forest floor like bridges, cargo nets, swinging logs, rings, skateboards and ziplines. Climbers stay securely clipped in with the self-guided, double-clip Clic-it climbing system on the course. The courses range in difficulty from ridiculously easy to very difficult, similar to ski resorts with green, blue, and black runs. We also have two Junior Park courses, which offer four, five, and six year olds the chance to climb like a squirrel, but closer to the ground. The most difficult courses will give anyone an unusual workout experience that will work you better than any run or cross-fit experience. That being said, that doesn’t mean you need to be ultra fit to climb through the course. With our multiple levels, you will find a fun challenge to meet every fitness level.

Climbers get started by completing a waiver form and pay for their ticket, which they can do online, over the phone, or at the park. Once arriving at the park, you will walk through a group training session where climbers are fitted with a harness and a park guide will walk through how to clip to safety cables, obstacles and ziplines. After that, you are ready to climb and swing from the trees for three hours with your ticket.

The park is open to anyone from the ages of four and up. You can come alone, with friends and family, or in large group. We offer packages for school groups, corporate outings, team building, camps, scouts, birthday parties, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and adventure and adrenaline seekers. The park will be open on the weekends until June 10th, when the park will be open seven days a week. Private groups can book weekdays throughout the season, May through November.

TreeRunner Raleigh Adventure Park is Raleigh’s Largest Treetop Adventure Park, where life is better in the trees. Please check the park out at TreeRunnerRaleigh.com. Email us at soar@treerunnerraleigh.com or call (919) 410-7347.
