New Mobile Enhancements Deliver On-The-Go Document Viewing

A more elegant toolbar display for smaller frames and smaller browser windows, as well as on low-resolution monitors, ensures a clean and intuitive user experience regardless of device. On large screens, the toolbars look exactly the same as before, but as the screen shrinks down in smaller windows or on devices with less real estate such as mobile devices, the buttons automatically collapse into menus.
The toolbar buttons are highly configurable so organizations can customize exactly which buttons they want displayed, as well as the location and in what order.

“The ability for the viewer toolbar to adjust based on window and device size is especially helpful for users who are accessing the viewer when it is embedded into small frames or windows in existing content management systems, such as Alfresco or IBM,” said Berberian. “All of the viewer’s functionality remains, but it is presented in a way that is easy for the user to navigate.”

Fox Point, WI Author Publishes Memoir

Bombs Away, a new book by Gary A. Horowitz, has been released by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc.

The Sterling Hall Bombing that occurred on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus on August 24, 1970, was committed by four young people as a protest against the university’s research connections with the U.S. military during the Vietnam War. The bomb was intended to destroy the Army Mathematics Research Center (AMRC). It caused massive destruction to other parts of the building and nearby buildings as well. It resulted in the death of one, injury of three others, and significant destruction to the physics department and its equipment.

Author Gary A. Horowitz was a student at Madison. This is his account of that horrific event.

About the Author
Mary Jeffredo was born in Los Angeles, California. By the time she was six years old her family left the city and moved to the country. Living in the wide-open spaces of Simi Valley brought a whole new dimension to her life, cultivating a new and growing love for our beautiful planet.

Jeffredo married and became a mother to four children, all of whom she successfully represented in Hollywood where she worked as a set mother and talent agent. Her passion for reading, her imagination, and her education and training as a minister in later life inspired her magical and moral stories for children. Her love of Earth and her faith in humankind shines through.

Jeffredo now writes from her home at the foot of Colorado’s beautiful Pike’s Peak Mountain where she lives with her two adorable and very sassy cats.
