Non-Profit Creates New Financial Reset System To Help Home Buyers tn 2021

A South Florida non-profit has taken action and created an easy to follow, step-by-step professional system for individuals fighting financial and credit issues caused by the 2020 economic shutdown while helping At-risk youth and the homeless at the same time.

MIAMI, FL / ACCESSWIRE / November 20, 2020 / With only a few weeks left in the year, Americans are looking forward to a fresh start and to leaving 2020 a blurred memory in the rear-view mirror. When the country shut-down banks began changing guidelines over-night on how they qualify an applicant, and thousands of families were left in the cold holding on to a homeowners dream deferred. Lenders like JPMorgan Chase and Co, and Wells Fargo and Co raised their qualifying credit scores, and changed their income and down payment criteria, leaving the new lending world not as welcoming to the dreams of homeownership as it had been before the nation shutdown.

Help arrives for those struggling with post shutdown credit and financial issues on November 20th, 2020. Kingdom Financial Academy (a Florida Non-Profit) launches their "Financial Reset System", an efficient, effective, and easy-to-follow system that helps individuals and families take authority over their finances, and navigate the home-buying process like a professional.

Daniel Shalach, the co-founder of Kingdom Financial Academy (KFA), a non-profit online financial literacy school, partnered with Shasta Baker, a Miami-based Money Management Educator and Samantha Quiñones a Millennial Financial Coach to help those who want to buy a home but were affected by the pandemic.

"This system has its genesis in Love. You see, everyone came to me with the same questions and concerns when the country shutdown. Many had lost jobs, loan approvals, dreams and even loved ones. It hurt us that the very people we were fighting for…were hurting. So, we kept helping people after they could not pay…pro-bono. All welcomed it and some felt badly and asked us to teach them what to do so they could help. I realized it would be easier to create a system they can learn from and not have to pay a monthly fee to us or anyone ever again. On the surface it looks counter-productive from a business point of view, but In today's world, it is not about "how do I feed myself", but " how do I help feed the community" that matters. If we all thought like this we would all be successful." Shalach said.

Our Financial Reset System is greatly needed because studies show that in 2020 64% of Americans are financially illiterate and the those looking to buy a home should be aware how needed this literacy is. National Association of Realtors Said: "Homeownership is one of several means of building wealth, but owning a home takes financial preparation in terms of building up savings and developing creditworthiness. Financial literacy is an important determinant of homeownership because it affects savings behavior. If parents do not teach the right values and skills, we can see some of the reasons why it is difficult for adult children to make strides in making sound financial decisions, including purchasing a home."

" When Daniel asked me to partner with him I did not hesitate. As a financial coach I know the damage caused when there are no systems in place for emergencies. People tend to turn to their savings and 401K plans and cash them out. Then they have zero money and zero ideas, leaving them worse then when the emergency started. All the while, children are watching how their parents handle their finances and studies show, when they get older they will emulate the same attitudes and habits towards money, creating a cycle of unpreparedness due to financial illiteracy. " Quiñones stated.

The "Financial Reset System" was designed to help anyone – from the novice to the seasoned consumer – from the millennial to the centennial discover how to master their finances completely. The system is a trifecta for those needing to reset their finances, their credit, or buy a home. Built on the same financial literacy platform used by fortune 500 companies like Verizon, AmeriCorps, and ironically Wells Fargo they focus on:

• Credit (building, restoring, and qualifying)
• Financial Literacy (budgeting, planning, family,)
• Homebuying and the homebuying process

What makes this system so different?

Because the pandemic has increased the rate of homelessness and is expected to rise once the hold on evictions lift, KFA is partnering with several other non-profit organizations and homeless shelters in South Florida to teach financial literacy to two specific underserved groups who will be taught how to gain control of their finances, master their credit and move on with dignity and respect.

• The first group is at-risk youth 18-24 who find themselves homeless because they have aged out of foster
care and have no one to take them in.
• The second group are adults who may have found themselves homeless due to situations beyond their
control (job loss, illness, death of loved one).

Each "Financial Reset System" purchased in turn provides the monies for materials and resources to teach three other families or individuals in the aforementioned groups. So, this will be one case where people are actually helping others, when they help themselves. The end goal is to help each person who purchases a Financial Reset System become home buying ready by becoming money and credit literate. Hopefully, the homeless individuals who received the free help, can some day get into a home they can call their own as well.
It is truly a win-win.

"While the course itself is priceless, we are doing it in a way that this holiday season Americans can help themselves and be a blessing to others at the same time. As a single mom, I remember when I had no idea what a budget was or how to use one, now I am ruthless with my money and credit and it shows in mine and my daughter's lifestyle." Baker shared.

The need for this type of "Financial Reset" is greater now than ever before and even thought the launch is on November 20th, 2020 they already have over 120 preorders thanks to family and friends of homeless individuals who have chosen this holiday season to give back.

Judge Pens Memoir Celebrating Powerful Legacy of “Twins for Justice” Who Helped Transform Lives of Drug Addicts, Those Who Practice the Act of Prostitution and Other Crimes

"Your Honor, Your Honor" Includes Judge Leonia J. Lloyd's Poignant Account of Her Twin Sister's Sudden and Shocking Death and How Faith Healed Her Grief

DETROIT, MI / ACCESSWIRE / November 20, 2020 / A powerful new memoir by Judge Leonia J. Lloyd showcases the unique and inspiring story of beautiful, brilliant twins who ascended to one of America's biggest courts and helped transform thousands of lives as "Twins for Justice."

Your Honor, Your Honor: A Journey Through Grief and Restorative Justice exalts the power of family values, achieving against the odds, triumphing over racism and sexism, and pioneering a career path to a pinnacle of high-profile achievement that helped society's most vulnerable people triumph over addiction, prostitution, and the deadly perils of crime and street life.

The book is available on amazon in hardcover, paperback and ebook formats.

"I wrote this book especially for people, from all walks of life, to believe in themselves and their dreams, and to understand that education and a strong work ethic are the formula for success," says Judge Lloyd, a popular commencement speaker. "I also want to show my life as an example that when life delivers tragedies, and you think you can't go on, you can rely on faith and loving people to heal, recover, and continue making a positive contribution to the world."

Judge Lloyd did that in 2001 after the sudden death of her sister, Judge Leona L. Lloyd. She performed CPR on her twin, who died instantly of cardiac arrest.

In the midst of her paralyzing grief, many people-and the power of faith-helped Judge Lloyd, and she ultimately returned to Detroit's 36th District Court. There she continued the legacy that she and her sister started, by joining the Drug Treatment Court, which aimed to help people escape a vicious cycle of addiction and crime.

Judge Lloyd also implemented Project Fresh Start to help people who practiced the act of prostitution recover from addiction and enjoy healthy, productive lives. Thousands of people have graduated from these "restorative justice" programs to create stable, happier lifestyles.

In the book, Judge Lloyd composed her unique life story in chapters, in which many subtitles were named after Motown Music songs.

The memoir begins with the surprise moment of their birth when two baby girls were born, even though the doctor had detected only one heartbeat during Mattie N. Lloyd's pregnancy. At the time, in 1949, when segregation was legal and blatant racism blocked opportunities for Black girls, Leonia and her sister Leona applied their parents' strong family values to excel in education. A short stint as models did not stop their plans to graduate from Wayne State University, then become teachers at nationally-renowned Cass Technical High School and Redford High School. They attended law school, then opened the Lloyd and Lloyd law firm, which they ran for ten years. Then Leonia went on to run a successful judicial Campaign, under the banner, "Twins for Justice."

Two years later Leona ran her successful judicial campaign under the same banner but with a twist, "Twins for Justice … send the other one to the bench," they became America's first identical-twin district court judges to sit on the same bench at the same time.

In the book, Judge Lloyd, who is now retired, shares stories about:

The mental illness that her mother-Registered Nurse Mattie N. Lloyd-suffered after a brain hemorrhage.
The commitment that her father-auto body mechanic Leon T. Lloyd Jr.-demonstrated by keeping the family together to raise two successful daughters despite racism, his wife's multiple personalities and breakdowns, and later, his struggles with alcoholism.
Situations that showcase her parents' words of wisdom and actions that taught the girls discipline, perseverance, and determination to triumph over challenges.
Racial unrest, the 1967 Detroit insurrection, and how wearing an afro drew disapproval from her boss and colleagues at a job during college.
Examples of people whose lives were transformed by Drug Treatment Court and Project Fresh Start, for persons who practiced the act of prostitution.
How she led the creation and implementation of Michigan's second Veteran's Treatment Court.
Examples that illustrated how the powerful bond between the twin sisters could not be broken by death.
A powerful testament to the power of faith that provided the people, synchronicities, and strength to heal from paralyzing grief and carry on the spirit of her sister by making a positive impact on thousands of people during her tenure on the bench.

Your Honor, Your Honor makes a perfect holiday gift, as it delivers an entertaining, inspiring read that sparkles with wisdom and lessons about how to create a successful life, even when tragedies and challenges make that seem impossible. Judge Lloyd shows that with faith, anything is possible.

Judge Lloyd is available for media interviews, speaking engagements, and book signings. For more information, please contact Pam Perry at 248-690-6810 and staff@pamperrypr.com.

Rick Snow, Army Veteran and Real Estate Broker, Is Military And Civilian Family’s Top Choice For Real Estate Needs In El Paso, Texas

EL PASO, TX / ACCESSWIRE / November 20, 2020 / As a child in a Navy family, Rick Snow moved around nearly his entire childhood.

This meant new schools and new cities every few years. Rick went on to follow in his father's footsteps and enlisted in the Army himself. Over his 20 years of service, Rick and his family moved 6 times, from Washington to Seoul, South Korea, Colorado to California, and eventually, El Paso, Texas. Rick's family immediately fell in love with the beauty and quality of life they had found in El Paso. Therefore, when Rick's final tour came to a close, they elected to put down roots in the west Texas city.

Rick set out to find employment that would afford him both flexibility and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others. Real Estate was a natural fit. In 2000, Rick Snow obtained his Real Estate license, and just 5 years later, became a Broker.

Today, Rick's brokerage, Exit East/West Realty, oversees a team of 80+ real estate agents and is dedicated to serving the community of civilians and military families alike in El Paso, Texas. He holds numerous real estate designations and certifications, including Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), and the Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA). Rick was also selected as the REALTOR® of the Year in 2011 for the Greater El Paso Association of REALTORS®.

Throughout his 20 years in the army, Rick recalls the stress of finding a new place to live in each new city he and his family moved to. Rick's mission is to alleviate that stress for home buyers, particularly the military families stationed in Fort Bliss. These families are often moving to a place where they may not know anyone and are unfamiliar with the area. Although they can find a wealth of information online, nothing can compare to personal experience and the validation that they're making the right decision.

According to Rick, "My job is to give you all the information that you need so that you can make an informed decision, the decision that's best for your family."

The journey to buying a home is far more than simply finding a house. Rick works diligently with homebuyers to ensure they're finding the right home for their family needs and their budget. Many families may elect to utilize a VA home loan. Rick's experience in the military and his 20+ years of experience in real estate allow him to offer the best advice and guidance to these families.

Although Rick is particularly passionate about helping military families like his own find homes, he is equally dedicated to civilian families buying and selling homes in El Paso. Many consider home buying to be the biggest stressor, but Rick explains that selling a home can be an equally demanding experience. Rick's support in the home selling process has been invaluable to hundreds of families. From staging the homes to recommending the repairs and adjustments necessary to illicit top offers, Rick guides home sellers in every step of the journey.

Above all, Rick Snow is singular in his dedication to his family and community. A Real Estate educator for 15 years and an active member of the Local Association of REALTORS®, the Texas REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS®, Rick is committed to upholding the top standards for professionalism and quality service in the industry.

According to Rick, "Everybody has the right to affordable, quality housing, and our goal is to get as many people in their dream home as possible."

Ganymed Robotics Announces Successful Functional Prototype Tests of Its Revolutionary Surgical Robotic Assistant in Orthopaedics

Data demonstrates the Company's ability to deliver advanced computer vision for scene perception, a major milestone to carry out its vision of a surgeon-friendly, time efficient and less invasive robotic assistant for total knee arthroplasty

PARIS / ACCESSWIRE / November 20, 2020 / Ganymed Robotics, a developer of advanced robotics technologies for orthopaedic surgeons, today announces the successful completion of functional prototype tests of its surgical robotic assistant for total knee arthroplasty (TKA). This study was comprised of a series of successful in silico, phantom and cadaveric tests. These results mark a major step on the way to realize its vision for a surgeon-friendly, time efficient and less invasive robotic assistant for total knee arthroplasty.

Knee arthroplasty is an extremely widespread surgical intervention for the treatment of arthritis, concerning more than 2 million patients worldwide each year, still associated with high dissatisfaction rates of above 20%. With tens of millions of patients expected in the coming decade, total knee arthroplasty has become a major public health issue. Ganymed Robotics' proprietary technology aims at drastically improving patient outcomes and surgeon experience through higher prosthesis precision and reduced interventions' duration.

All technologically-assisted knee arthroplasties today involve a complex, time-consuming and potentially dangerous registration step that require a physical bone palpation and the insertion of bone pins into the patient's tibia and femur. The functional tests demonstrated the efficacity of Ganymed Robotics' solution, providing advanced computer vision for scene perception (contactless registration), both instantaneous and riskless for the patient. This innovative feature is a revolution for computer-assisted orthopaedics and represents a major milestone in the deployment of Ganymed Robotics' vision to simplify surgeons' jobs while leaving them in full control of the surgery.

Sophie Cahen, Founder and CEO of Ganymed Robotics, indicates: "We are entering an effervescent and high-growth phase of the robotic-assisted orthopaedics market; our technological advance allows us to come in with a vastly superior product in terms of surgeons' experience and overall efficiency than incumbent technologies. Our goal is to become the surgical method of reference for total knee arthroplasties."

Michel Bonnin, Lead Clinical Advisor of the Company and former President of the Hip and Knee French Society, adds: "Contactless registration and surgeon-friendly-design make this device a dream come true for surgeons. No more cutting jigs, no more painful and time-consuming registration process. Just the help we need when we need it, to always get it right."

Since the closing of its €2 M second funding round in March 2020, Ganymed Robotics secured an additional €1 M non-dilutive funding from Bpifrance's "Deep Tech" program dedicated to France's most promising deep tech companies. In the midst of a nationwide lockdown, the team of 14 engineers and PhDs filed multiple patents to further protect the Company's technology platform and finalized the detailed design of the functional prototype.

Ganymed Robotics plans to initiate regulatory processes for its knee arthroplasty solution in 2021 and progressively deploy its technology platform to additional orthopaedic indications.

Influencers Are Choosing MyCutTV App Over YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Patreon To Instantly Make Money!

VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / November 20, 2020 / Indi Wijay, founder of MyCutTV, has created a solution to the financial pains many content creators and influencers experience in an industry that often fails to reward talent.

A decade ago, the job title of an "Influencer" did not exist. Today, it's a respected and recognized title given to individuals who create engaging content persuading the purchasing decisions of consumers worldwide. And though the lives of Influencers often look sensationally glamorous, the reality is many of them struggle to get by financially.

I recently heard a story about a travel Instagram couple who would share content on their account showing their stays at five-star hotels around the world. Though their feed featured them tangled up in sheets of Egyptian cotton and dining on Parisian balconies with the Eiffel Tower looming in the background, they vulnerably shared with their audience that despite these luxurious accommodations, they were flat out broke.

MyCutTV's website, highlighting their profit-based platform

This story is one amongst many, reminding us that free-hotel stays do not fill bank accounts, follower counts do not translate into paychecks, and engagement does not pay bills. The pursuit of a career as an influencer is not for the faint of heart, as it often requires a high level of tact and savviness to turn influence into a viable revenue stream.

Recognizing this flaw in the system, Indi Wijay created a solution through the launch of MyCutTV, an app providing value for both influencers and audiences alike.

MyCutTV, also referred to as "MYCUT," is the easiest platform for content creators to receive monetary compensation for their efforts without resorting to pimpin' out their accounts as an advertising campaign.

Audiences also reap the rewards of this revolutionized social media development as they are provided with a heightened viewing experience free from ads, subscriptions, credit card payments, and data sharing.

So how does it work?

MYCUT is all about two things: sharing content and making money.

The platform allows influencers to share their content, and audiences pay to view videos on an OnDemand basis, ranging from $0.99 to $9.99 depending on the video. There are no likes, no comments, and no follower count – it is all about sharing great content and rewarding the creators for their efforts.

"Here is where the magic happens," commented Indi, "when that follower who just paid for the $0.99 OnDemand video shares it with their own followers on MYCUT and those followers watch it, the creator of that video will make more money fast."

This model allows for videos that reach the pinnacle of success (also known as virality) to generate a revenue of hundreds of thousands of dollars within a matter of minutes, if not seconds. Through providing a financial incentive, content creators are further motivated to produce quality material that their audience will not only love but want to share with others.

The real value of MYCUT is found in the shareability of videos, which continuously encourages influencers to produce creative and unique content sure to be shared with the app's growing audience.

MyCutTV Founder, Indi Wijay

Why should influencers switch to this platform?

What many fail to recognize is that curating influence is by no means a walk in the park. In fact, when searching "how to become an influencer" Google offers roughly 213 million results offering advice on the topic. Instagram alone boasts 1 billion active users, and of these, roughly 500,000 are regarded as "Influencers" according to a recent Omnicore report. That accounts for 0.05% of all Instagram users! This shows that though a number of individuals are interested in pursuing a career as an influencer, few are successfully within this inherently competitive industry.

Yet, despite the exclusivity of a career as an influencer, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Patreon, and other platforms do not pay these individuals for the traffic that they drive. If influencers are lucky enough to get brand deals, sometimes they receive financial compensation for marketing the brand on their platform, but more often than not this compensation is in the form of products or experiences. Cash is king, and for this reason, many influential content creators are searching for alternative revenue streams to incentivize their work.

"The democratization of content has created a space where MYCUT can allow creators to maintain creative control of their content, as well as reap the full financial benefits of success" commented Matt Fleckenstein, a multiple Emmy-nominated writer and producer who has over 15 years of experience creating material for massive networks including Nickelodeon, Disney, Netflix, and Apple TV.

With the skill required to create content worthy of recognition on today's social media sharing platforms, it's no wonder that the industry is getting increasingly competitive. For those that remember Vine (circa 2013 to 2017, RIP), the app provided a platform to share incredibly amateur content shot with shifty home camcorders and phone cameras. The content, though highly entertaining, had an incredibly low level of production value yet was still capable of becoming viral. Those days are no longer.

Today, content must be expertly created by individuals or teams that understand lighting, camera angles, editing, and directing. Amateur material will rarely experience the virality it once did. Given the high standards required from these videos, the industry is shifting towards a system that favors financial compensation for the creators of what is becoming increasingly professional content. MYCUT is at the forefront of this transition.

"I'm very excited about using MYCUT," further mentioned Fleckenstein, "it gives me and my company a platform to independently distribute our content, removing the gatekeepers that used to dominate the entertainment landscape."

The posting process of content on the MYCUT app

What's in it for the audience?

For those asking themselves, "why would I pay for something that I'm already getting for free?" The answer to this lies in quality and ease of accessibility.

MYCUT is the official go-to app for influencers looking to share their content on a platform that provides compensation. This means that the best videos will soon be only available on MYCUT, and audiences looking to be entertained by high-quality content will be able to effortlessly source them all within one platform.

Additionally, MYCUT's operating model eliminates the need for advertisements, which is both a massive time drain and a motivator behind useless impulse purchases. The app allows audience members to watch content disruption-free, creating a viewing experience like no other.

"The best part of MYCUT," Indi informed, "is that no one ever pulls out a credit card as all of the transactions go through Apple iTunes and Google Play. They provide a secure fast transaction – it's as easy as paying with your face." For the app's audience, this feature makes the process of watching new content a seamless one.

How videos show up on MYCUT's feed

A league of its own

Version 3.3.1 of MYCUT has gone through several live beta tests over the past few years, creating an expert-backed user experience formulated from an analysis of user behavior to determine what the audience really wants. As one of the most valuable influencer apps on the market, MYCUT has recently rolled out a messaging feature to offer users the option to send private OnDemand videos to members within the network.

The attention to detail MYCUT has taken regarding R&D provides users an experience that can rival that of social media industry titans, without the hassle of credit cards, ads, subscriptions, likes, comments, follower counts, and data sharing. Indi commented on this differentiation by saying "The app is built for the people to take control of their own life and monetize however they see fit, with no restrictions."

In an industry that all too often takes advantage of the success of a select few, MyCutTV offers an option to reward the creation of content as opposed to exploiting it. Indi elaborated on his decision to launch the app in mentioning that "My inspiration is to build a network for the people that can make them money from their own content, using a transaction that needs no ads or credit cards or any boss telling them what their value is."

For both influencers and app users interested in experiencing the revolutionized social experience offered by MyCutTV, sign up is free and the app is available to download through the App Store or the website.

City Church of New Orleans Adopts Safety Measures During COVID-19

NEW ORLEANS, LA / ACCESSWIRE / November 20, 2020 / City Church of New Orleans is ensuring worshippers have a safe and meaningful experience during in-person visits by following a checklist of protocols related to the current pandemic.

Steps include screening incoming people, more specifically asking them to stay home if they have a fever, a cough, sore throat, or shortness of breath. Those who are aware of having contact with someone with a confirmed COVID-19 case in the previous two weeks are also asked to take in the service from home. Screening signs have been posted outside the main entrance of the church as an added precaution.

Upon arrival at City Church of New Orleans, worshippers will be able to proceed from the parking lot through the main lobby to the auditorium without the need to touch doors, which will remain open. In addition, visitors are discouraged from chatting in the lobby to help maintain a safe physical distance. Instead, worshippers can greet one another with an "air high-five," an "elbow pound," a wave, or a thumbs up.

Those attending a service are advised to wear an appropriate face mask upon entering the building until seated. The congregation is asked to keep four chairs open between non-family members for added safety. Each row has been safely spaced six feet apart. The church recently purchased a disinfecting fogger as well, which helps disinfect large areas. They will be using this for the worship auditorium (sanctuary) and other large areas beyond just high touch surfaces to provide as much safety and care for attendees as possible.

Hand sanitizer has been made available to visitors throughout the building to help reduce risk. Meanwhile, the church has stepped up its cleaning efforts, targeting high-touch surfaces on a frequent basis.

Church volunteers wearing nametags are also available for assistance and to answer any additional questions.

Worshippers of City Church of New Orleans are also invited to join the congregation online every Sunday at 10 a.m. Children are invited to join parents during a service, but the Children's Ministry (Kidz City) remains virtual until further notice.

"Whether you will be with us in person or online, remember, we are one family and one Body in Christ and we are here to support one another," notes the church's administration.
