Dog Friendly Retreats Opens Its Doors to Independent Cottage Owners

Dog Friendly Retreats has revamped its website so private holiday home owners can promote their properties and connect with pet owners looking for dog-friendly holiday accommodation in the UK.

Truro, United Kingdom – March 27, 2019 /PressCable/

Independent cottage owners can now promote their properties directly on the Dog Friendly Retreats website, following the launch of a new listing service for individuals.

The site was previously only open to holiday agencies with a large number of self-catering properties to promote. Now independent owners can join the site and tap into a market of holidaymakers looking for dog-friendly cottages and holiday homes in the UK and Ireland.

The listing service allows owners to enter their property details and photos, add price information, dates and availability, and receive enquiries direct from potential holidaymakers.

After registering with the site, owners are taken through to a listing management area where they can load and edit their information with ease.

New owners who add their properties will be promoted at www.dogfriendlyretreats.com alongside the tens of thousands of other cottages and holiday homes which offer a warm welcome to dogs.

The site features dog-friendly properties in all corners of the country, including holiday hotspots such as Cornwall, Suffolk, Devon, Pembrokeshire, the Isle of Wight, the Scottish Highlands and Donegal in Ireland.

It is hoped that opening the site up to independent cottage owners will provide potential customers with an even greater choice of pet-friendly places to stay in these wonderful holiday destinations.

Josh Williams from Dog Friendly Retreats commented: “It’s a pleasure to be able to extend our service to owners who have only one or a few properties. Previously we could only work with agencies because of the technical challenges of accepting individual listings.

“We’ve now designed a system that makes it simple for these individuals to upload and manage their own properties so we can finally welcome independent owners on to our rapidly expanding platform.”

At just £100 per year, the listings are presented as an affordable advertising option for owners who want to promote their properties to dog owners from all over the UK and abroad.

Josh Williams added: “With the website’s huge reach, we think this provides exceptional value for money. It’s a one-off fee and there’s no commission so just a few bookings from the site will provide exceptional return on investment. We urge all dog-friendly property owners to join so we can hook them up with holidaying pet owners.”

Mental Health Watchdog Protesting the Drugging of Children for Profit

CCHR, a non-profit mental health watchdog dedicated to the protection of children, is holding a protest march in Orlando. Florida, on March 30th, at the Florida Psychiatric Society conference in response to the alarming number of children given psychiatric labels and drugs.

Clearwater, United States – March 27, 2019 /PressCable/

Currently over 7 million children are prescribed psychiatric drugs in the United States and more than 600 thousand are between the ages of zero to five. Children are being drugged at astonishingly high rates due to the psychiatric labeling of normal childhood behaviors as mental disorders. [1]

In response to the drugging of children with dangerous psychiatric medications, the Florida chapter of the Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR), a non-profit mental health watchdog dedicated to the protection of children, is holding a protest at the spring meeting of the Florida Psychiatric Society in Orlando, Florida on Saturday, March 30th. Anyone interested in joining the protest should contact CCHR Florida at (727) 442-8820.

Information gathered by CCHR shows that psychotropic drug prescriptions among infants doubled from 2013 to 2014 and that psychiatrists are prescribing these drugs to young children for aggression, temper tantrums, or lethargy despite the more than 400,000 adverse reaction reports filed with the U.S. FDA. [2] [3]

“Children are being given drugs that come with deadly side effects and according to experts there is a lack of scientific data to support the widespread use of these drugs with children,” said Diane Stein, president of CCHR Florida. [4]

To learn more, please call 727-442-8820 or visit www.cchrflorida.org.

About CCHR: Initially established by the Church of Scientology and renowned psychiatrist Dr. Thomas Szasz in 1969, CCHR’s mission is to eradicate abuses committed under the guise of mental health and enact patient and consumer protections. L. Ron Hubbard, founder of Scientology, first brought psychiatric imprisonment to wide public notice: “Thousands and thousands are seized without process of law, every week, over the ‘free world’ tortured, castrated, killed. All in the name of ‘mental health,’” he wrote in March 1969.

In an interview, the CEO and Founder, Sarah Williams noted, “My organization, Affordable Healthcare 123 is different from our competitors because our products are designed to encourage discussion. Our t-shirts act almost like a post-it note for people to see and to think about healthcare in our country.” Her passion for activism goes beyond speaking out about healthcare through her graphic design skills.

Her company has always made an effort to contribute toward the preservation of the environment. Biodegradable fabric choices make it possible to assist with the 15 million tons of fabric that are tossed into landfills every year. Fabric choices explored include linen and hemp options. Seeing success with this addition to the t-shirt business, Williams is moving forward with expanding to more products.

Thanks to the demand for more options, Williams is looking to capitalize on the growing trends for clothing. Going beyond t-shirts, Affordable Healthcare 123 Tees is adding hoodies and athletic wear to the products available in order to expand the conversation. Keeping the spirit of Affordable Healthcare 123 Tees, these additional clothing options will be comfortable while also being fashionable and sparking discussion on important issues. The t-shirts that consumers fell for will still be available, and the product line will continue to be evaluated for items that consumers want to be added.

Affordable Healthcare 123 Tees was born from a need to have a voice in the nationwide topic regarding access to healthcare for everyday individuals. Sarah Williams designed a shirt to start a conversation at a political rally and discerned the need for clothing that sparks discussion after getting comments on her outfit. Affordable Healthcare 123 Tees will continue to break boundaries in seeking ways to connect with consumers about the issues that are important to them and create community-wide discussions.

Denver Buyer Agent Search Service Reports on Real Estate Negotiating Skills

Colorado-based real estate agent finder service released a new report discussing the importance of buyer agent’s negotiating skills and negotiating tips and techniques.

Evergreen, United States – March 27, 2019 /PressCable/

The CEO of Skyfor’s Buyer Agent Search service has re-broadcast of a special segment of the Denver Colorado KHOW radio show that highlights the very important topic for consumers: buyer agent’s negotiating skills. The top 4 skills mentioned in the summary are 1) 100% buyer representation, 2) protection of buyer clients 3) knowledge of the market and 4) comprehension of buyer’s needs. Additionally, the rebroadcast and report shared some tips and techniques for a successful negotiation.

The summary can be found here: http://buyeragentsearch.com/denver-buyer-agent-negotiating-skills/

Buyer’s agents should represent the buyers throughout the home-buying process. They handle the negotiation and presentation of an offer to the sellers on behalf of the buyers. It is crucial for the buyer to hire someone with excellent negotiating skills. This skill is the key to ensure that he/she will get the best terms and price of the home. To do that, buyer agents perform comparative marketing analysis (CMA) and home assessments to determine the price to offer to the seller. They help protect buyers by doing research and analysis to keep them from buying overpriced homes. Buyer agents should have a broad knowledge of the current market trends and the available properties in the market. In this way, they will be able to provide a wide range of choices based on the buyers’ needs and requirements and will be equipped to close deals successfully. To represent the buyers effectively, buyer agents should also have a clear understanding of the buyer’s needs and preferences and to get this they must listen carefully. Buyer agents should know essential information such as 1) buyer’s motivation for buying; 2) readiness and willingness of the buyer to transact; 3) the time frame, and 4) budget and financial capabilities of the buyer.

The report also discussed a few techniques for a successful negotiation. The main goal of a negotiation is to come up with a win-win solution by maintaining a good and respectful relationship with the other side. Some of the techniques mentioned are 1) Show a positive attitude: the attitude the buyer agent shows will greatly influence the success of a negotiation. It is crucial to hire an agent who is sharp but has an engaging and friendly manner. 2) Create rapport: an agent who builds rapport and communicates well can make the other party feel that he/she working together with them as opposed to competing with them. 3) Listen to the other party: being an effective communicator requires active listening skills. Good negotiators aren’t afraid to ask probing questions that will help them meet halfway. 4) Be realistic: don’t ask for illogical terms and irrational discounts. 5) Perform research: A good negotiator understands both sides of the negotiation, which will help them come to a mutually-satisfactory agreement. Buyer agents should gather substantial information about the buyer and the person they will be negotiating with. A list of simple questions a buyer agent should consider is provided in the summary.
