 The founder of a drug rehabilitation program was very interested in improving communication skills and increasing her understanding of people; she took several free booklets on various topics to improve her community work. A law enforcement official, was able to better understand people after reviewing the materials and data supplied by the Volunteer Ministers.

Free courses were offered at the tent or online to those who want to improve themselves and their communities with life skills training including: handling violence and upsets from substance abuse, improving one’s ability to study, improving communication skills, handling difficulties on the job, resolving conflicts, improving their family life, and improving relationships with others.

The Scientology Volunteer Ministers also respond in times of disaster and help by cleaning up debris, removing downed trees with chain saws, feeding and helping those in need, and helping to organize clothing, diapers, and other donations to those in need. Volunteer Ministers just responded to Hurricane Beryl and are now deploying to areas affected by Hurricane Debby.
