Experts Reveal Callus Buildup Prevention After Removal Of Plantar Wart

June 09, 2016 – – Wilmington, DE – June 8, 2016 –Plantar warts are usually found in the feet’s plantar surface. They are hard, small growths with white color and can be caused by a viral infection. Unfortunately, sufferers may need to deal with problems such as calluses other than plantar wart.

Luckily there are various prevention methods which experts believe to be effective after the removal of a plantar wart. While these warts are typically not painful, they are highly sensitive to pressure. Individuals with plantar warts may also suffer from a lot of pain due to movements.

A minor surgical procedure is one of the solutions to get rid of the warts. The bad news is that many medical professionals warn that even if they are surgically removed, the may reappear in the form of calluses.

Calluses are thickened layers of skin that forms due to friction or pressure. Wearing ill-fitting shoes is one of the causes of calluses. While calluses are usually not harmful, they can become unsightly and painful.

It is imperative to get rid of a callus, especially when it causes pain while walking. Experts recommend that people should choose shoes with a comfortable size. It should not be a pair that is too tight to wear.

Partick DeHeer of the FootVitals professional team describes the painful foot calluses; “When foot calluses have deep-seated cores, the condition is known as porokeratomas. These extremely painful lesions develop under the skin and can make it difficult to walk, stand, or even wear shoes.”

In some more severe cases some people could produce a fever. “If you develop a fever and your callus has become infected, do not wait to contact your doctor,” urges Doctor DeHeer.

It also recommended to keep the feet dry by wearing socks. This prevents the feet from rubbing against the chafe and shoe. Cotton socks are ideal since they provide breathing space to the feet as well as absorb moisture.

“However, most foot calluses can be treated at home,” Naressa Foot Callus Remover representitive Natasha Edwards explains. Getting a foot callus treatment from a salon may also be a good idea. There are spas and salons that specialize in providing the best foot pampering experience.

Salons offer services such as soaking the feet in a soapy water and scrubbing the calluses to remove them. There are also massage sessions, which are typically performed with the use of creams and lotions. A massage is extremely helpful in improving the blood flow to the feet.

There are many ways to deal with calluses. Those who suffer from these skin layers should see to it that they prevent callus from being thick enough to break. When thickened skin layers break, it can make the skin susceptible to infection.

To remove calluses, there are also products such as the electric callus remove from Naressa. Many individuals with callus prefer to use this product since it is not just safe, it is also effective to use.

Many users of Naressa’s electric callus remover have expressed their satisfaction with the product at amazon.com, which makes the remover available for customers. (www.amazon.com/Electric-Callus-Remover-Naressa-Electronic/dp/B015GJDW18).

Statistics Confirm Chip Technology on Credit Cards is Not 100% Secure

June 09, 2016 – – Manchester, NH – June 9, 2016 –Financial institutions and the authorities have been looking for ways to fight identity theft. However, it seems that the crime continues to grow and affect millions of people from around the world.

Chip technology as a security fix for credit cards believed to be ineffective against fraud. This security fix comes in a form of microchips embedded in the credit cards.

In the last few years it has been reported about $200 million to $800 million were spent by card issuers to provide cardholders with new debit and credit cards. Large retailers, on the other hand, have spent over $8 billion just to install card readers, which work by reading the microchips.

Unfortunately, despite of all these costs and measures, retailers believe that the new system is highly flawed. According to retailers, instead of using a two-factor authentication from chip ‘n’ PIN cards, card issuers are distributing chip ‘n’ signature cards, which crooks can undermine with ease.

Brian Dodge, executive vice president of the Retail Industry Leaders Association, believes that chip and PIN has been proven to fight fraud significantly. However, unfortunately, it is not exactly what American consumers are getting.

The new chip technology is also believed to be ineffective in eliminating fraud and instead it will only divert the type of fraud that may take place.

A new technology called Europay, MasterCard, and Visa (EMV) consists of cards that contain microchip. This microchip possesses data that is traditionally stored in the magnetic strip of cards. It works with readers that have the ability to scan the chip as well as process payment transactions. This is securely done with the use of encryption.

It is believed that the chip can reduce fraud due to the fact that it contains a cryptographic key. This key works by authenticating the card as a legitimate bank card. It also generates a one-time code with very transaction.

The retail industry believes that using signatures with chip cards is less secure because it can be extremely easy to forge signatures. Card readers also don’t do anything to authenticate the signatures.

The good news is that there are blocking sleeves for credit cards available nowadays. Consumers can use this product to increase their protection against thieves. Crooks with skimming devices won’t be able to steal information when these credit card sleeves are used.

The set of RFID blocking sleeves can be purchased at amazon.com. Consumers can use this product while dining and traveling. These sleeves won’t just free them from hassles but also save them from financial embarrassment. (http://amazon.com/rfid-passport-sleeve-protector/dp/B0150T0AI2).

Xarelto Lawsuit Plaintiffs’ Cases Against Manufacturers Bolstered By Independent Studies Linking Xarelto To Sudden Bleeding

June 09, 2016 – – TheProductLawyers.com reports on independent studies related to the effects of the blood thinner Xarelto on patients using the drug. A particular study done by two doctors, Judy Hun and John Hwang, investigated the impact the drug had on their patients after some reported that they suffered from eye bleeding, otherwise known as “spontaneous vitreous hemorrhage.” After their study, they concluded that the risk of this type of eye bleeding may be increased in patients that switched from the more traditional blood thinners to Xarelto.

Another study that began on October 1, 2010, examined a large sample of 46,000 patients who had used one of three blood thinner drugs including Xarelto, Pradaxa, and warfarin. When the results were analyzed, it was concluded that there was “a more than twofold higher risk of bleeding with rivaroxaban (Xarelto) when compared with warfarin.” The study concluded on March 31, 2012.

These studies have produced new concerns over the safety of Xarelto and have linked the drug to sudden and uncontrollable bleeding in those who have taken it. Many patients who have filed lawsuits against the drug’s manufacturers have used these studies to support their cases in court.

To date, lawsuits filed against the manufacturers of the drug have exceeded 2,800 cases in federal court and have been consolidated into a multidistrict litigation (MDL 2592) overseen by the Honorable Judge Eldon Fallon in Louisiana. Additionally, another 550 cases have been grouped together in a mass tort program in Philadelphia, PA.

Xarelto was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). In 2011, The FDA approved the drug to treat patients that were at an increased risk of stroke or blood clots due to various medical conditions such as deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, and atrial fibrillation and those recovering from hip or knee replacement surgeries.

The attorneys of Banville Law, the firm behind TheProductLawyers.com, are offering complimentary consultations to anyone who suffered injury or hospitalization after a bleed while on Xarelto. For more information about this release or the Xarelto litigation call 888-997-3792.

East Hampton Stonemason’s Fatal Head Trauma, Prompts Comments From Construction Accident Lawyer

June 09, 2016 – – Thomas Moverman of LipsigLawyers.com has commented on a recent development that outlines the death of a stonemason who was working in East Hampton, New York. Moverman indicates that slips, trips, and falls are not uncommon for construction workers but nonetheless sympathizes for the victim’s family. He claims that further safety regulations issued by OSHA accompanied by employer-provided efforts to increase the safety and well-being of employees are essential to a safer construction industry for the future.

As reported by The East Hampton Star, the victim was doing work on the record three-lot located at 62 Further Lane, which, when purchased in 2014, was the most expensive residential property in U.S. history. Police reports indicate that the victim and a co-worker were on the second floor, laying down cinder block. Police believe that they were utilizing rebar, which is steel used as a tension device in reinforced concrete. Village Police hypothesizes that the victim was attempting to manipulate the rebar, when it snapped off, which in turn propelled the victim off the roof.

A local detective indicated that 12-foot falls aren’t rare, but since the victim fell directly onto his head, on concrete, he sustained fatal injuries on impact. The site had a valid building permit, and all inspections were up to date. The Occupational Safety & Health Administration has been called in to investigate the incident. Police reports also indicate the victim was not wearing any safety devices.

There were 94 more slips, trips, and falls in 2014 than there were in 2013 according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Construction worker deaths accounted for an estimated 19% of all work-related fatalities in 2014, which emphasizes the need for further regulations and safety precautions.

Lipsig, Shapey, Manus, & Moverman are extending all victims of construction accidents the opportunity to evaluate their complete legal rights. The firm is offering free complimentary legal consultations to all construction accident victims and their families. Attorney Thomas Moverman and the law firm have had supreme success representing victims of construction accidents, for example, they represented a victim who was awarded 2.5 million dollars in compensation for the injuries he sustained after falling off a ladder.

Xarelto Lawsuit Plaintiffs Use Studies Connecting Use of Xarelto to Excessive Bleeding In Their Cases

June 09, 2016 – – TheProductLawyers.com reports on lawsuits that are underway against the manufacturers of Xarelto, with 550 cases in a mass tort program in Philadelphia, PA along with an additional 2,800 cases in a multidistrict litigation in Louisiana consolidated by the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation (JPML) and overseen by the Honorable Judge Eldon Fallon.

Xarelto was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2011 to treat patients who were at an increased risk of stroke or blood clots due to various medical conditions or surgical procedures. Patients suffering from deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism or atrial fibrillation, or those who required hip or knee replacement surgery were likely to receive the blood-thinning drug Xarelto. As a new-generation blood thinner, it was met with a lot of excitement upon its release to the market, however, it was not long after its release that patients began to experience potentially life-threatening side effects related to dangerous and sudden instances of uncontrollable bleeding.

Patients have used a number of studies that have been conducted on these various side effects to support their cases in court. One such study was done by two doctors of their own prompting. Judy Hun and John Hwang began to notice that many of their patients taking Xarelto began to suffer from episodes of eye bleeding, otherwise known as “spontaneous vitreous hemorrhage.”

After their own investigation, they concluded that the risk of eye bleeds could be increased in patients who had switched from using traditional blood thinners to Xarelto.

Another study conducted over the course of almost two years beginning on October 1, 2010, and concluding on March 31, 2012, evaluated the potential linkage of excessive bleeding to Xarelto. The study evaluated almost 46,000 users of blood-thinning drugs such as Warfarin, Pradaxa, and Xarelto. The primary conclusion was that the use of Xarelto produced much higher numbers of uncontrollable bleeding episodes than the other blood-thinning drugs included in the study.

Xarelto Lawsuit Plaintiffs Use Results Of Study To Support Their Cases

June 09, 2016 – – TheProductLawyers.com reports on Xarelto, a blood thinner drug approved for use in 2011 by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Xarelto was released to the market to treat patients who may be at an increased risk of blood clots or stroke due to medical conditions such as atrial fibrillation, deep vein thrombosis, and pulmonary embolism or those who are recovering from surgeries for hip or knee replacements. The drug was hailed as a new-generation blood thinner, but it was soon after its release that the public began to hear about potentially dangerous side effects of the drug.

Upon hearing of possible dangerous side effects, medical professionals Judy Hun and John Hwang began to investigate the impact of the drug on their own patients. The doctors had noticed that some of their patients suffered from spontaneous bleeding in their eyes while taking Xarelto. They concluded from their study that the risk of eye bleeding may be increased for patients during the time when they are switching from a traditional blood thinner to Xarelto.

Another study was conducted from October 1st, 2010 to March 31st, 2012 that examined a large sample of patients across the United States who had taken various blood thinners such as Xarelto, Pradaxa, or Warfarin. It was found that of these 46,000 patients, there was a marked increase of gastrointestinal bleeding, as much as 50 percent, when Xarelto was used versus the use of Warfarin.

All of these studies have created serious concern over the drug’s alleged linkage to dangerous and spontaneous bleeding in patients. These concerns have prompted many lawsuits related to the drug, as well. Lawsuits number in excess of 2,800 cases in a federal multidistrict litigation (MDL 2592) overseen by the Honorable Judge Eldon Fallon of the Eastern District of Louisiana, as well as a mass tort program of an additional 550 cases in Philadelphia, PA.

E-Cigarette Explodes While Charging In Oklahoma Prompting Potential E-Cig Lawsuit Cases

June 09, 2016 – – LipsigLawyers.com reports on an e-cigarette explosion which occurring in Oklahoma after a man began using the device to kick his traditional cigarette habit. NewsOn6.com in Oklahoma reported the story which gives details of a Tulsa man who was charging his electronic cigarette when it exploded, and he had to contact the fire department. Fire swept through the room, he reported, setting his laptop on fire and also a lamp and window shades. While washing dishes, he noticed a flash that was the explosion, a surprising end to an optimistic attempt to quit smoking. A few months ago, at local Tulsa retailer Camoland, he picked up the device in the hope that it would help end his smoking habit and save a few dollars in the process, comparing $6 cigarette packs to a couple of dollars for e-cig fluid. The explosion, which he said occurred after he had plugged the e-cigarette into the USB port in his laptop for charging, put a very expensive end to his health improvement plans.

Unfortunately, such stories are becoming common. Another e-cigarette user’s device exploded in North Carolina causing temporary blindness. The man reported that his electronic cigarette exploded in his face as he put it to his mouth. When the e-cigarette exploded, he said he experienced liquid like “hot oil” spraying onto his face. E-cigarette “juice” is a liquid and the flammable substance has been reported to spread flames during explosions causing injury and damage.

Attorney Marc Freund of Lipsig, Shapey, Manus & Moverman is looking to assist victims of e-cigarette explosions to assist them in exploring their legal options. Those who believe they have been harmed by an e-cigarette are greatly encouraged to explore their legal options in the matter, as they may be entitled to significant compensation. To better assist individuals who wish to investigate their rights more fully, Attorney Freund is now offering free legal consultations to qualified parties.
