Anti Aging Toronto Clinic Weighs In On Recent Studies Finding Promising New Hair Restoration Method

Anti Aging Toronto Clinic is weighing in on new findings that add an additional hair restoration dimension to platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy.

Toronto, Canada – May 27, 2015 /MarketersMedia/

Anti Aging Toronto Clinic (www.AntiAgingToronto.ca), a Toronto-based provider of hair and skin restoration treatments, is weighing in on recent studies finding a promising new remedy for thinning hair and scalp restoration.

Recent studies have looked at a hair treatment based around the concept of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy. While PRP therapy has existed in some form for almost 20 years, it has been these studies that show it to be useful in treating hair-thinning conditions such as androgenetic alopecia, also known as male pattern baldness. (Source: Chaudhari, N.D., et al., “Role of Platelet-rich Plasma in the Management of Androgenetic Alopecia,” Int J Trichology; 4(4): 291–292, doi: 10.4103/0974-7753.111222.)

“It’s sometimes called the ‘vampire treatment,’ but can be a misnomer,” says Silvia Derasner, Medical Esthetician and co-founder of Anti Aging Toronto Clinic. “In truth, it involves injections derived from the patient’s own blood, rather than someone else’s. This is actually one of the reasons it’s so popular, as there are fewer side effects because it uses natural substances the body has already produced.”

Derasner explains that blood has numerous platelet-derived growth factors inside it, including mesenchymal stem cells, autologous blood products, glycogens, and lysomes. These growth factors are part of what stimulates the creation and repair of skin over a cut during the healing process.

“PRP therapy aims to harness this process in a more targeted manner. It is based on taking these healing factors and delivering them exactly where they’re needed,” she adds. “PRP therapy is performed by drawing the patient’s blood and proceeding to spin it in a centrifuge, which separates the platelet-rich plasma from the other components. This more concentrated solution is then administered to the desired site by a micro-needling gun.”

Recent studies have explored how PRP interacts with hair follicles, producing increased scalp thickness and growth of the follicles. It sort of “wakes up” the body, taking follicles that are either doing their job poorly or not doing anything at all and infusing them with the means to recover. This is not something the body does on its own, as it doesn’t think it needs repair since there’s been no injury. (Source: Cervelli, V., et al., “The Effect of Autologous Activated Platelet Rich Plasma (AA-PRP) Injection on Pattern Hair Loss: Clinical and Histomorphometric Evaluation,” BioMed Research International (2014), Article ID: 760709.)

“Hair restoration is only the most recent use to be added to PRP therapy’s applications. To date, it has been used in clinical treatments for nerve injury, tendon, and arthritic repair; healing cardiac muscle injuries; and as a skin restoration technique to smooth wrinkles and promote collagen production,” Derasner concludes. “At Anti Aging Toronto Clinic, we have been using it to restore skin and mend keloid and acne scars and wrinkles. It’ll be exciting to now use it to help rejuvenate patients’ thinning hair as well.”

Anti Aging Toronto Clinic is a GTA-based skin care clinic that has been a pioneer in implementing modern technological and clinical treatments as part of its goal to be the best. Your Photo To Sketch Launches New Art Trends With Family Portraits and Snapshots

Photographs now brought out of the back of the house into the main family rooms with new artistic mediums reports YourPhotoToSketch.com

Grand Terrace, CA, United States of America – May 27, 2015 /MarketersMedia/

A well-known rule of thumb has always been to decorate the living areas of a home with works of art, relegating photos of the family to the bedrooms. However, according to recent decorating commentaries on current trends, this advice is changing. Whether using photo grids or one large distinctive focal point, family photos are one again considered fashionable to hang in the common areas of the home. However, the types of photos one uses to decorate with are changing from the snap shots or portrait photographs of old.

Says Adam Evens, spokesperson for Your Photo To Sketch (yourphototosketch.com), the latest trend is leaning towards hand sketches, charcoal renderings and oil paintings to lend a distinctive flair to decorating. Explains Evens, “By making use of a combination of black, white, and gray colors, the artist is able to portray a setting, an event, or a moment in the simplest of hues, while projecting the beauty and relevance of the moment. However, not everyone can afford a charcoal artist at their events, or had the forethought to do so, and that’s where we step in. We provide hand drawn portraits crated from our clients’ photographs, where every single detail is also hand-drawn. We employ experienced and talented artists who have perfected the art of charcoal drawing, making sure the photos provided to us will be transformed into great charcoal sketches that can be proudly shown to friends and family in places of honor on the wall.”

Charcoal drawings are not the only types of artwork available from a photograph. Evens says some photographs naturally lend themselves more to a hand drawing. “There are photos that will look better when sketched rather than rendered. That statement also holds true the other way around. But when you really want to make a stunning statement, oil paintings are the way to go. It could be a photo of a place that you’ve been to. A landscape that means a lot to you. It could be a portion of a beach where you and a loved one once sat to watch the sun set. Or it could be the table in a restaurant where you and your other half had your first candle light date. If you have a strong connection with a photo whether it features a face, faces, family, friends, a place, or a thing, then it deserves an oil painting treatment.”

About Your Photo To Sketch:

Your Photo to Sketch (http://yourphototosketch.com) creates 100% hand drawn or painted works of art from a customer’s photos. Regardless of the subject manner, be it a portrait, landscape, cityscape, or still life, their professional artists will create an original work of art in the style of the customer’s choosing. Their artists hand draw or paint masterpieces using the best natural painting software available. The pieces are then printed on archival paper or canvas using a museum quality printing technique known as giclée, resulting in a high-quality, and original fine art print.

Quest Solution Signs Patent License Agreement with NCR

Agreement Paves the Way for Development of Groundbreaking In-store “Smart Targeted Advertising” Technology Platform; Opportunity Represents Over $1b Addressable Market Across Various Retail Segments

HENDERSON, NV / ACCESSWIRE / May 27, 2015 / Quest Solution, Inc, “The Company” (OTCQB: QUES), a leading provider in the technology, software, and mobile data collection systems business, announced today that it has signed an important patent license agreement with NCR Corporation, the global leader in consumer transaction technologies. The agreement enables Quest Solution to develop a location specific “smart targeted advertising” platform utilizing voice recognition technology to generate custom marketing messages to in-store customers. In many respects, this is similar to keywords generating specific advertisements during an Internet search, or the suggestive marketing of products based on past orders utilized by almost every large web retailer.

The patent license agreement with NCR enables Quest Solution to utilize NCR patented innovations to launch highly relevant and suggestive advertisements in retail store displays based on custom programmed audible queues. A leasing or profit share model will determine how Quest Solution and its retail partners share in revenues generated from pre-sold advertising inventory. In addition to the patent license agreement, Quest Solution is looking to utilize NCR solutions to help bring its new technology platform to the market.

Richard A. Weiss, the Chief IP Counsel for NCR Corporation stated, “We are delighted by this agreement and the prospects of Quest Solution utilizing NCR’s patent innovations and solutions to help enable them to bring their platform to the market and deliver significant value to retailers and consumers. NCR is always interested in strategic opportunities to license its intellectual property in a way that provides value to the company, its shareholders, businesses in the industries we serve, and increasingly tech-savvy consumers turning to technology to make their everyday lives easier.”

Jason Griffith, Executive Vice President of Strategy and Acquisitions for Quest Solution commented, “The patent license agreement with NCR helps enable Quest Solution to achieve its stated goal of monetizing scalable and innovative technologies that will ultimately drive shareholder value. We believe that this type of dynamic voice driven advertising platform has relevance to an addressable market that is greater than $1B in size, from retail stores and movie theaters to shopping malls, hotels and casinos. As we develop this platform and prove out the strong cash-on-cash returns that voice recognition based targeted advertising can achieve for both advertisers and merchants, this business unit should realize strong margins and recurring cash flows which can scale meaningfully over time.”

Quest Solution believes that its patent license agreement with NCR will provide it with first mover advantage. It will also enable Quest Solution to develop new technology designed to provide value for retailers and consumers alike.

An easy way to describe Quest Solution’s offering as part of a real-world scenario is as follows: if you are walking through the grocery store and say to your spouse, “We need to pick up something for the birthday party,” the voice recognition software will hear the keyword “birthday party” and the advertisers who have marketed for that key phrase will have their specific advertisement displayed at the end of the aisle for their product.

Griffith concluded, “Our engagement with NCR is just one of the many ways our team is bringing solutions to our customers.”
