WA Assett Wins the Liveable Bathroom of the Year Award

This award is only one of many honors the company received at the 2014 HIALaminex Australia Kitchen and Bathroom Awards, reports WAAssett.net.au

Perth, Western Australia, Australia – June 30, 2015 /MarketersMedia/

WA Assett proudly announces they took home the top prize for the renovated bathroom project $20,001 to $30,000 category at the 2014 HIALaminex Australia Kitchen and Bathroom Award. In addition, the company won first place in the renovated bathroom project up to $20,000 category and was a finalist in the renovated bathroom project over $30,000. Consumers in need of a bathroom remodel turn to this company for assistance, as they know WA Assett is a provider they can count on.

“As Domain.com.au explains, a bathroom renovation can be both challenging and exciting. A renovated bathroom serves as a luxury in the home, yet remodeling this room can be a complex job, due to the nature of the area. The wet room brings together numerous services within a very small space. For this reason, one must choose a reputable contractor with extensive experience in bathroom renovations, and WA Assett is this provider,” Andrew, spokesperson for the company, explains.

The design process of any bathroom renovation remains critical. Some renovations require structural changes, such as significantly modifying utilities in the room or removing one or more walls. Other projects call for the removal of asbestos or the ordering of special fixtures and finishes. In addition, one must plan for the loss of a bathroom as the work takes place.

“WA Assett offers bathroom design services to determine the breadth of the project before any work begins. With the help of the bathroom design service (http://www.waassett.com.au/bathroom-ideas/our-bathroom-design-service) clients find they obtain creative, practical solutions that meet their unique needs. Free estimates and advice are offered at all times, and the company provides a guarantee on all work completed,” Andrew continues.

One must take care when hiring trades people to ensure all work is of the best quality. Qualified and accredited trade professionals must stay abreast of the Building Code of Australia and all related standards, local government regulations, and the latest in product innovations. Homeowners must also verify a trade person’s registration and licences before proceeding.

“WA Assett has amassed a team of bathroom designers along with licenced and qualified trades people to ensure every project is done right from start to finish. Our team includes qualified ceiling fitters, bricklayers, underfloor heating specialists and more, and all work is completed under one project manager (http://www.waassett.net.au/bathroom-ideas/bathroom-renovations). This project manager ensures the bathroom is everything the client has dreamed of and more, as one should live in the lap of luxury within their own home. The awards won by WA Assett show the company understands this,” Andrew declares.

Children and Family Therapy Clinic Reports Ten Percent of Teens Are Depressed

Parents need to be aware of the signs and symptoms of depression along with the different treatment options to get their child the help they need, announces IdahoFallsCounseling.com

Idaho Falls, Idaho, United States of America – June 30, 2015 /MarketersMedia/

Capital News recently reported that as many as one in ten children between the ages of 12 and 17 are depressed, yet most receive no professional help. In fact, 62 percent of teens who are depressed receive no counseling or medication, but those who do report treatment does help. For this reason, parents of depressed teens need to seek help for their child in a timely manner.

“Of the more than 9,000 adolescents studied, 22 percent who suffered from depression obtained counseling alone. Another 13 percent obtained a combination of Idaho Falls Counseling and medication, while three percent received only medication. Of the teens receiving counseling, 57 percent reported it was somewhat or extremely helpful. For those who obtained both medication and counseling, 69 percent reported it helped somewhat or a great deal. Parents need to seek treatment for their child if they suspect the teen suffers from depression, as help is available,” the Family Therapy staff at Children and Family Therapy Clinic reports.

Parents often assume Idaho Falls Depression is a normal part of the growing process and needn’t be of great concern. Depression is actually a form of mental illness, and one that can have a significant impact on the adolescent’s ability to function and reach their maximum potential. Quality of life is negatively affected, as are the child’s opportunities, and children suffering from depression are more at risk for substance abuse and suicide.

The Family Therapy staff explains persistent sadness, withdrawal from family and friends, irritability and difficulty concentrating are symptoms of depression parents need to know. In addition, if the child’s eating or sleeping habits change, they lose interest in previously loved activities or they appear restless and agitated, help may be needed. If one is unsure if their child is depressed, it’s time to seek outside help to determine if this is the case.

Children and Family Therapy Clinic offers a wide range of services for children struggling with life. Individual therapy remains one option, while family therapy and counseling are others. In home therapy may be recommended and the clinic provides case and medication management services. When Idaho Falls psychiatry services are believed to be of benefit, they will also be incorporated into a treatment plan.

“The goal is to find the right combination of treatments that will most help a child. No two adolescents are alike, therefore one cannot use a one size fits all plan. Children and Family Therapy Clinic understands this and works to find the right treatment plan, based on the child’s specific needs. Contact the clinic today to get your child on the path to a better future,” the Family Therapy staff advocates.

About Children and Family Therapy Clinic:

Children and teens often struggle with oppositional behavior, mental health issues, behavioral problems at school, a lack of motivation or emotional health issues. Children and Family Therapy Clinic functions to help these children and teens overcome their issues and reach their full potential, offering a range of services to meet the needs of all.

Why Cannabis Labs Make for Compelling Investments

SEATTLE, WA / ACCESSWIRE / June 30, 2015 / Marijuana lab testing revenue could reach $850 million by 2020, according to a new report by GreenWave Advisors, an independent investment research and advisory firm serving the burgeoning cannabis industry. Driven by state-mandated cannabis testing requirements, investors may want to take a closer look at the lab testing segment of the industry as a potential investment opportunity.

According to the report from GreenWave Advisors:

“As individual states debate the efficacy of current legislative statutes or contemplate initial legalization referendums, lab testing requirements of cannabis products has become an increasing subject of concern and attention. Although the current governing statutes regarding legalized marijuana uses vary in great degrees from state to state, one common theme that has emerged is the increased awareness on the part of legislators and health officials, as well as cultivators and laboratories, of the critical importance of product testing and quality assurance.”

Cannabis testing is a relatively new phenomenon. In fact, Colorado had no protocols in place when the state first legalized marijuana. The program was only established about a year ago when a series of overdoses on edibles made the news. Similarly, Washington State didn’t introduce its cannabis testing requirements until 2013 when recreational cannabis became legal, even though medical cannabis had been used since 1998.

DigiPath Inc. (OTCQB: DIGP) is one of the few publicly traded cannabis laboratories. With one of just two labs in Nevada, the company has already signed an agreement with a dispensary (Euphoria Wellness) to test for unsafe levels of contaminants like heavy metals, microbes, mycotoxins, pesticides, and solvents that can exacerbate health issues. Unfortunately, these dangerous chemicals have been commonplace in cannabis nationwide.

With over 400 medicinal compounds found in the cannabis plant, it’s no wonder that so many states are requiring lab testing as a critical step in the seed-to-sale process. Only eight states of the 23 that have permitted medical marijuana require testing now, but five additional states are exploring testing legislation and that number is likely to expand moving forward as more states approve the drug and realize the potential hazards that exist.

In a recent article from Smithsonian.com, Andy LaFrate of Charas Scientific, who operates one of only eight labs in Colorado said, “It’s pretty startling just how dirty a lot of this stuff is… There’s a stereotype, a hippy kind of mentality, that leads people to assume that growers are using natural cultivation methods and growing organically… That’s not necessarily the case.”

For investors, cannabis laboratories represent an opportunity to capitalize on a growing sector without all of the regulatory red tape or risk associated with “pure” marijuana plays. Unlike Cannabis Science Inc. (OTC: CBIS), which is exploring clinical compounds, Mcig Inc. (OTC: MCIG), which focuses on vaporizer products, or MedBox Inc. (OTC: MDBX), which focuses on dispensary machines, DigiPath is well-positioned to meet an immediate regulator-driven demand for testing services.

A company like DigiPath Inc. (OTCQB: DIGP) is well suited to take advantage of this growing industry with their existing lab, trusted scientific team, and experienced management professionals.

We believe this will present new revenue opportunities for our company and create new value for our stakeholders.”

Additional details in relation to BCC’s plan to enter into the medical marijuana sector may be found in the company’s two (2) News Releases of January 7, 2015 with the most recent update provided in BCC’s News Release of May 11, 2015.

Investors should be aware that companies cannot legally conduct a medical marijuana business without a license from Health Canada and that there is significant time and cost required to obtain such a license. As a publicly-traded company publicizing its intention to enter the medical marijuana industry, BCC urges potential investors in any company in this sector, to become familiar with the required resources and the related risks, costs implications and time required before a company will be able to begin licensed operations. There is no assurance that any company announcing its intent to enter the medical marijuana industry will be successful in obtaining a license or in creating shareholder value.
