The secret behind the Standard Issue Denim 001 is their tough wearing fabric known as HS Tech— a 13oz high-grit heavyweight cotton with the texture and feel of raw denim, but much more comfortable and easier to move in thanks to the fabric’s 13% diagonal stretch factor. A subtly elevated 5-pocket construction, high-step knee darts and split waist construction help to create a pant that is easy to maneuver through even the most difficult of sequences. The jeans boast a slightly tapered, slim fit that sits slightly below the waist and is currently available in an earth-toned olive colorway to launch with several additional colors on the horizon.

“The Standard Issue Denim 001 in particular and Wares for All Reasons in general are really important for the development of climbing as a sport and for the community that’s formed around it.
