CHESTER, NY / ACCESSWIRE / September 30, 2015 / Repro Med Systems, Inc. dba RMS Medical Products (OTCQX: REPR) announced that its second quarter net revenues for fiscal 2016 increased 26.4% over the previous year’s Q2, led by the Company’s sales of proprietary infusion products. The Company’s current fiscal year ends February 28, 2016.

Revenues for the second quarter of fiscal 2016 were $3,166,177 compared with $2,504,854 for the second quarter of fiscal 2015. In addition to representing a 26.4% increase year-over-year, the second quarter results for fiscal 2016 showed a 20.4% increase sequentially over first quarter 2016 revenues of $2,630,545. Our net income for the quarter improved by 65.1% compared with the same period last year, to $335,214, driven by the strong sales in the quarter.

During the first six months of its fiscal year, the Company invested in reorganization and implementation of lean manufacturing initiatives, which were completed in the second quarter. While these improvements reduced year to date net income over the comparable period, we expect them to result in gross margin improvement over the balance of our fiscal year and beyond. Low T Lawsuits: The Latest Trial Updates

September 30, 2015 – – Banville Law reports on the latest low testosterone lawsuit trial information. The low t lawsuits are compiled of around 2,500 complaints against drug manufacturers. The complaints share similar allegations concerning the marketing of the products, and serious side effects that have been connected to their use in several studies.

Low testosterone therapy treatments are used to combat side effects associated with lowering levels of testosterone in men as they age. Some of the men who have undergone treatment with these products have experienced heart attacks, blood clots, strokes, and even death. Many victims also allege that the manufacturers failed to provide proper warning regarding the risks of these side effects, and even purposefully neglected this duty.

As men age, their testosterone levels lower naturally. This can cause several adverse side effects, including a decrease in bone density, muscle mass, and sexual drive, and an increase in weight, fatigue, and irritability. Many of these men turn to low t treatments in order to lessen these effects, and feel younger once again. While the FDA approved the treatments for those with specific diagnosable conditions such as hypogonadism, they did not intend it to be a ‘fountain of youth’ drug by any means.

After several studies seemed to link the low t drugs to serious health complications, the FDA responded by releasing a statement asking the manufacturers to provide more thorough warning labels on the products, and reminding consumers of the approved and intended use for the drugs.

As low testosterone lawsuits continue to be filed, the Bellwether trials are scheduled to begin in 2016 and continue through 2017. These trials will focus solely on defendant AbbVie, the maker of AndroGel; one of the most popular low t therapy options currently on the market.

Bellwether trials involve selecting a specific amount of cases which will represent all cases to predict potential trial outcomes for the plaintiffs and defendants. By October 31st of this year, both the plaintiffs and defendants will select eight cases relating to heart attacks associated with AndroGel use, and another eight cases relating to blood clots associated with AndroGel use. The following set of bellwether trials, which will reference the pharmaceutical companies manufacturing other testosterone drugs, are set to begin the second half of 2017.

It has additionally been stated that by March 1st of 2016, the court is likely to have chosen three cases involving heart attacks, and three involving blood clots relating to AndroGel use. Dates selected by the court for blood clot cases to begin are: October 31, 2016, December 5, 2016, and January 9, 2017. Dates selected by the court for heart attack cases to begin are: February 13, 2017, March 20, 2017, and April 24, 2017.

Beacons are the next Internet Gold Rush, says marketing guru John Zehr

Beacons are business card-sized devices that broadcast a sales or informational message in a very small radius. This new technology is changing the business landscape by providing pertinent, personalized information to consumers and clients.

In 1994, a start-up company named Netscape changed the course of history. The Netscape browser was the first internet browser to be made widely available to the public. Netscape enjoyed the largest IPO in U.S. history to that date.

“The Netscape browser changed everything because there was a “perfect storm” of technologies at that time,” says marketing expert John Zehr. “Computers had become commonplace, everyone had a telephone line, and modems were widely available. As he finishes his meal, the diner gets another message that invites him to join Joe’s Frequent Diner’s Club. He clicks the button and the next time he visits Joe’s, he’s greeted by name (Joe gets a message on his smartphone that the guest is there again, along with the guest’s photo!) and Joe asks if he’d like the veal picatta again (Joe recorded his previous meal choice in his beacon app), or if he’d rather have for some fresh salmon. He enjoys the fish and as he pays, the cashier taps his phone to record the visit. The customer is pleased because the next time he eats at Joe’s he’ll get a free dessert. Joe is happy because he’s assured the diner will return.

Retailers and merchants are proving to be the fastest to adopt beacon marketing practices. “Harvard Business Review published an article in 2014 that said that acquiring a new customer is anywhere from five to 25 times more expensive than retaining an existing one. They cited research that shows increasing customer retention rates by 5% increases profits by 25% to 95%.

“Beacons will be everywhere in just a few years,” says Zehr. “Museums will use beacons to share details about each exhibit. Schools will use beacons to guide you to your classroom and notify you if bad weather has forced a closure. Merchants will use beacons to create more loyalty and affinity with their customers. Snapdock consists of two main parts which can be snapped in the middle, where the lightning cable is located. As a result, the Snapdock can be separated into its two halves, allowing you to very easily put it together or take out your lightning cable from the docking station within seconds!

For this Kickstarter campaign Snapdock will be available in 12 colors: black, white, red, blue, green, orange, yellow, brown, purple, gold, silver grey, and dusty grey. You can even combine two or three colors to create a personal Snapdock with your favorite look!

In exchange for pledging to the project, backers can gain access to a variety of rewards including one black or white Snapdock together with a mfi-certified lightning cable for as little as Fr 34, one Snapdock (color or color-combination) with a mfi-certified lightning cable for the early bird price of Fr 39 and more. Backers can also pledge Fr 74 for two Snapdocks (one in black or white and one in color or color-combination) with two mfi-certified lightning cables.
